Poor kid.....he was so engrossed by the storm.....He'd never seen anything like it.....He moved to Texas from Canada a few months ago.....

i tried to call the missing persons line, but it's disconnected, i called 911 and it just kept ringing for 5 minutes :( it's so jammed up

Police found him, he's safe at a Red Cross Shelter

I live south of houston near galveston. We got 27 inches of rain in 6 hours. Water got in the house ankle deep, but we never lost power. . We will have to replace the floors though. All the roads are flooded so its best not to travel anywhere. Now they are saying more rain is coming and Harvey will move back into the gulf and hit galveston as a tropical storm, which is just crazy.

We're good in Southeast Houston (Beltway and Fairmont). Had a tornado overnight and water came half way up the driveway, but the street has greatly drained and the rain is more intermittent now.

Hopefully things stay okay where you are. ^^

I was in Houston until recently; moved up to NY for grad school. I'm keeping an eye on the weather around my home; it looks okay so far.

Glad to hear your safe, now let's just hope everyone else is, especially sense it doesn't look like FEMA is coming in anytime soon.

third time here, first time we're not already under water. We drove around helping a few people get to higher ground (since we've got a lifted truck) but the most important thing is to stay home and make sure you have clean water to drink.

I came to Texas to go on a cruise out of Galveston. Now trapped at a friend's house with our cruise cancelled xD

SW Houston outside the Beltway is doing well. Lots of rain, so far no power outages. Eating way too much junk food to subsist ~3~

Part of the very lucky in Houston that gets in the corner of the bands so rain comes and goes for enough time to clear. Though I just hope we last, everyday is a day we hope not to get flooded and I wish the best for those out there as well, Stay safe :)

Yeah, over here on the west side next door to katy, greenhouse and morton, its flooded down the street from me but my place is ok. Going to take a drive around my block and see how things are fairing.
