The Dawn of A New Era (Important Announcement!!!)

So forewarning this will probably be a rather personal journal
To start off, thank you all who read these journals lol. Anywho to the meat of the journal. Something that isn't known very well about myself is that I come from a very conservative family. I personally do not identify with all of their beliefs, especially involving their views on the LGBT community. For years I have had to hide my interest in men, because the second they found out I'd either be shipped off to a "Correction" camp, or just disowned, or possibly taken physical harm, so I have kept the true me hidden. This being said, I am almost done with college, and plan to move up to a more accepting area, hopefully with my wonderful mate. With that being said, I wanted to finally make this announcement. I officially have decided that I want to begin the transition from male to female. For years I have felt incomplete or that I was made unfinished. But now I can finally be who I want to be without fear of harm, or more mental abuse. So with that being said, I will be submitting a new ref in the next few minutes and have taken the name Dawn for myself. So please if you do message or talk to me, or about me I prefer you use the name Dawn, and use pronouns she/her. I know this will be a hard change for those who have known me for awhile but I do appreciate all the support that I have been given through this process to start. And if you know anyone struggling with their identity, please be there for them, the support that you can provide may truly mean more than you can ever know.
