"One thing I have noticed in the world of furry art, artists tend to get into a groove of just drawing themselves, their friends and the people who go from artist to artists begging for art work.

Many of the furry fans get overlooked because perhaps they are too shy to ask for art. Maybe they are too polite to ask or perhaps it is because they are not fortunate enough to have spare money to pay their favorite artist for some work. I do know however that all of us would love a picture done by their favorite artist.


Here is the challenge I propose, think of it as national do something nice to advance the furry community week. I challenge every artist on Fur Affinity especially the biggest most popular artists. Go through you long list of watchers, check out a few of your watchers pages, and pick one or a few that do not have a huge gallery of pictures of their fursona. Then make them up a good piece of work they can be proud of. In the end I think everyone involved will be rewarded.

Artists, look at it this way, it gives you the opportunity to break out of a block and practice on a new species. For the person getting the surprise gift it may be their only picture they can show others of their fursona.

So please if you like this idea spread it about in your own journals lets break down and do something for the lil guys who watch you all and admire your work.
