Last Night, I was Ready to Die

Last night, Dad and I had a big fight. I flipped out and left. Went to Taft and bought 2 big bottles of Black Velvet and 1 small bottle of Wild Turkey, spending the last of my money on booze, and then started driving for the coast while drinking. By the time I got to hwy. 58, I downed all 3 bottles, ending my 10 year sobriety and breaking the promise I made to my Mom. And by the time I reached hwy. 58, I blacked out and almost broke the promise I made to my Dad. I don't remember anything that happened afterwards. I came to this morning in the passenger seat of my car, my car in a ditch and, I'm covered from head to toe in crude oil. I called my folks and apologized up and down, then got out of my car, and climbed out of the steep ditch, still drunk. I called 911 while walking a quarter mile to hwy. 33, nobody stopped to help me or call 911 for me. A fire truck stopped to take care of me until an ambulance arrived. They spent all morning cleaning me up. Degreaser wouldn't work. Even a maintenance guy went out of his way to take a scraper to try and take that crap off me. The nurses and EMTs used mineral oil and adhesive remover to get most of it off. I about shit when a sheriff came in to talk to me about my accident. I thought they were gonna clean me up and then haul me to jail. O.O But he didn't even cite me, thank God. When I got home, Zack shaved my head because my hair was so matted from the crude oil. I cleaned the rest of it off with Dawn dish soap and Champion hand cleaner. That shit was a bitch to clean off! But in the end, I walked away with just bumps and scrapes, my car is totaled, my cell phone, bling, the clothes I was wearing, and knife all met tragic demises, I patched things up with my folks, and I got an awesome new hair style ^_^

This may be totally random, but I'm glad you're alright, man.
Still, losing your hair sucks, but it's cool you're staying positive.
It's okay, in fact, I really like my new do ^_^
I'm glad you're okay - and I won't try to lecture you as I'm sure you've gotten plenty of that.
Make sure you put sunscreen on your dome when you go out - if you've never shaved your head before, you'll be really prone to burning. ^_^;
Yeah, that sun felt pretty warm on my noggin at first XD
*huggles* all in all, someone was watching out for you that day, and I know my friend, I have been down that road before.... but we all make mistakes, but as long as you learn from it, its not all that bad huh ^^
*Huggles back* Thank The Good Lord ^_^
