The mandate of this group is to bring musicians on FA together, and have a central resource for networking. Your suggestions and help are really what will make this a success! No one can know everything that is going on around the site music-wise, and it's a very time-consuming endeavor to do so. So we rely on your help to bring it all together. If you know of projects, albums, other FA music groups, or anything that needs mention, please drop a Comment or Note!

Some suggestions being considered:
- Podcasts (potentially featuring artists/submissions/interviews)
- Weekly/monthly featured artists and/or submissions
- Interviews
- Music discussion topics (techonology, music theory, etc.)
- Listing what instrument(s) each person plays (for collaboration purposes)
- Listing musicians with albums or music for sale

I'm also personally suggesting to FA that they update the gallery layout so those of us who upload more than just music can categorize submissions by style of submission (music, literature, photography, art, etc.) or perhaps even other parameters to help people who watch our accounts to more readily find submissions that might be buried a few years deep in our respective galleries amidst a myriad of other styles of submissions.
True, I've often wanted more control over the galleries. But the way things go with site development here, I doubt anything will really happen. The commission info page is still in the can. It is still worthwhile to make the suggestions though. Even just having control over the order of submissions would be useful.

For those of us who work with written scores (Finale, Sibelius, or even good ol' handwritten scans), it would be nice to have an option to share PDF files.
