This year's been little so-so from the beginning, dealing with one curveball after another, eating up either my time or motivation. Oddly enough, I have plenty of resources to go with this time around. I got a new contract, this time a bit more higher up on the hierarchy sort of, so I got slightly better income for the moment. Although it's eating up my free time now somewhat, as I have to do paperwork... of every worker at my workplace. Eeeeugh.
This summer is showing some signs of getting hotter than usual again too, so ended up ordering a new AC... it's only single-room model, but might work better than the old clunky box from 70's that's on my roof. Already installed those curtains that should reflect the heat of the sun back outside, but it only worked until the building itself started heating up too. Black roofs...
Laundry machine popped a fuse. Something broke, aaaaand it has so far taken about month and no repairman here yet to fix it. I'm about to run out of clean clothes, time to do it by hand I guess.
Snatched some more computer parts here and there, I'm thinking of finally finishing that secondary computer this summer. I got a capture card for it too so I could theoretically stream my stuff and games through it without using resources on my main computer... that, and it's good to have backup in case my main fails for some reason.
Things and stuff, nuts and cola, meat and bones, squirrels and wolves, Slippy and Jenny. Empire wins.

One of these or similar and a couple 5gal buckets (one for washing, one for rinsing) can make life a good deal easier when you need to hand-wash. So can a wringer, if you find you're going to be doing it for a while; it'll still be useful after you get your machine fixed, since it can squeeze more water out than a spin cycle can, so you won't have to run the dryer as long.
