shanaFirst of all, sorry for being very silent and absent these past two weeks but we're facing one shitty situation.
I'll make it short : the administration of the place we were living before in France suddenly realized two years ago (we've left France three years ago) that we left with some taxed unpaid.
Taxes we never heard about before. Better, they sent letters and letters to our former address in France while we had an appointment and signed papers at the City Hall to give them our new address in New-Caledonia before we left three years ago.
And, two weeks ago I met a law clerk for the first time in my life. He brought me an official paper with the loveliest news : tax bill with interests of course <3
Of course, we could start court proceeding. But imagine we don't win ? We'll end up with the tax bill + interests + lawyer bill. And actually, we don't want to deal with so much stress... Flutter's work situation isn't easy and we're both preparing exams to try to get even better jobs.
So... We've decided to pay.
Total amount of the taxes + interests bill is something around $2,000 USD (1800€) which represents ALL of our current savings. And these were supposed to be savings for this year's taxes and car+appartment insurances.
We have untill the 10th of July to collect the money.
So, now you know the whole story and shitty situation we're into. ^^'
And to try to get out of this shit Flutter and I will submit journal entries to offer auctions, items, CAMEOs, and many other things.
