So you've seen the news about ICE snatching children from their parents at the border and holding 'em in privately-run kiddie concentration camps, basically just to be horrible, yes? I read a suggestion that this was a test of the resistance of us, the people. If the State got away with behavior this revolting, if nobody showed up to break open the kid jails.... then the way was open to even worse crimes, with little fear of blowback from the comatose public.
I find this doubtful: The assorted agents of the State already know the protest movement is castrated, useless. There's no need to conduct tests this ugly and public. But it set me to thinking: Why IS today's protest movement such a joke? There certainly is a lot of evil crap out there to protest. So why do the all-too-few brave souls with enough fire in the belly to leave their cozy computer-corner and face the agents of tyranny in the streets, constantly self-sabotage? IS it self-sabotage? Is it native stupidity, or are malicious agents writing their scripts for them? If so, how does that work?
Let me set the scene a moment: In the democratic nations, if your neighbor was doing better than yourself, you were expected to work hard to improve your own lot - to match or exceed said neighbor's accomplishments. There was a name for this common dynamic: "Keeping up with the Joneses".
But in the communist countries, you didn't do that. If you envied your neighbor, you called the KGB on 'em, and got 'em pulled off their high horse - hauled off to the Gulag, even. You didn't build yourself up to their level, you dragged your neighbors down to your level. The "equality" was equality of misery, of everyone being equally deep in the doo-doo.
With this in mind, take a look at the "Check your Privilege" slogan SJW's so love to toss around. So....whites should "give up their privilege" of being slightly less likely to be stopped and harassed/abused by police? So the oppression afforded blacks and other minorities should be the norm?? The power-junkies ordering such oppression would LOVE to do so, no doubt. But why would any sane peasant campaign for it? The slogan should be "EXTEND your privilege". As in, freedom and dignity should extend to ALL law-abidin' citizens, regardless of color, gender or any such arbitrary groupings. But making that happen sounds too much like hard work, huh? Easier to drag 'em down than build the rest of us up.
And how about that working class? If you're gonna force real reform, if you're gonna pressure the oligarchs to share some of the wealth created by AI and (job-killing) automation, you're gonna need their numbers. No revolution is happening without them. So let's organize the workers in common cause, and really start putting some pressure on those clowns in Washington, yes?
NAAAAAAH! Let's stand around and scream "Racist!" "Sexist!" and other insults at 'em. THAT'LL teach 'em to not be woke enough! Of course, alienating 'em like that sorta resulted in Trump getting elected. NICE JOB, Social Justice Warriors!
"Privilege Theory" is a brilliant way to silence people, alienate the majority, and make activist groups take themselves down with infighting.
Are said groups moronic enough to have come up with it themselves, or is it the brainchild of some evil psych-ops genius in one of the National Security agencies? I honestly cannot tell.

It's an outdated idea by Karl Marx, used and resulted in nearly 80-120 million murders, the destruction of the economic stability of nearly every country that adopted them, and is being funded by former Nazi sympathizer Soros to get over entitled lefty foot soldiers.
If anyone doubts it, then think about why the BLM went on strike last year. Activists for their own people don't go on strike. A recent investigation also shows that some point in the last 4 years or so had a large chunk of money ship out towards him to help also disrupt another country's civility to economically upturn it for an easy acquirement into a Globalist collective.

A news reporter e-waste back conducted an interview, asking if he had second thoughts on what he did to his own people, and as to my recolatuon he smiled and affirmed the negative. I haven't seen that video in a while. His attitude towards the denial of his atrocities cemented the overwhelming emotion I had towards the monster enough the first time.

I don't know to much about the Koch Brothers, so I can't speak with any form of honesty on that; though what I've heard about them isn't positive in the least. Regardless of which side of the isle they pretend to help, putting your profit margins on the graves of innocent people is what I would consider to be a crime against humanity.
No, such misbehavior in America should not exist at all. For anyone. Why should whites (esp. white men) be given preferential treatment, and everyone else be treated like shit, in a land that is supposed to have Equal Protection Under The Law? It's not that everyone should be forced to wallow in the shit together, it is that shit like this should not be happening to any American citizen, period, in the first place.

It's not 'check your privilege' as in 'surrender your privilege', but 'check' as in 'understand what you have, that others do not, simply because of your skin color and what's in your underclothes'.
Unfortunately, too many people are entertained by their cruelty, and they enjoy hurting and looking down upon the less fortunate, a traditional value if you will. And this despite America's loudly-declared, if not oft-practiced, Christian piety.
But rather, that while the TERM has a meaning, the use of it by the layman goes by a different context. That is, that as privilege is bad, anyone who is privileged is bad, or should reduce it.
Byy some accountings hold 'having married parents' as a privilege.
Or to use another example as context: Racism. The traditional meaning is 'Bias against a group based on ethnic origins'. Pretty simple. In sociology there's a concept of 'Systemic Racism' where those in power, those with privilege, can create systems that create racist results. Like impoverishing inner city areas, that also have the highest concentration of racial minorities. The effect is systemic racial bias. To make it easy for them, they just call it 'racism' when discussing it, because for a sociological construct, the interpersonal element is irrelevant. Your personal bias or lack of bias is unimportant when discussing a systemic issue of improvement that targets a racial minority.
EXCEPT.
That term, the 'Power+Privilege=Racism' has escaped the CONTEXT. It's no longer used specifically for the sociological issues of systemic problems. Now, it is bandied about by an entire category of young social justice advocates, generally as an excuse to not examine their own personal racial biases, because nothing THEY do is racist, AS they are not the people in power.
There are multiple flaws in that argument, but they have excuses now not to listen.
This is a problem that tends not to be examined, let alone addressed. Intersectionality is not applied universally. As one example, because 'White Privilege' is held AS a privilege, instead of 'Not being treated as the other' which should be held as a baseline state. Like what Karno said, the issue is that many people consider their own lives the baseline, rather than accept that some of their issues come from societal disadvantages... Mainly because if they did see them as disadvantages, then they would have to address those social issues (which will take decades to fix, minimum) rather than demand someone else tilt the scales in their favor.
Given that America still has the highest divorce rate in Christendom (with only Cuba out-divorcing America in the New World), this view now has some truth to it. Esp. in the cultural context that a man/woman marriage is supposed to be the paragon of domestic virtue. But even the loudest champions of this traditional institution constantly fail to live up to their own declared values. And studies show that kids who grow up in a stable, two-parent house do in-fact do better later in life. So given all the alleged value of traditional marriage, why is it so hard for so many people to succeed at it?

Unfortunately, the left has no corner on the market of severely-bastardized terms, that have been so watered down and overused as to become self-satirizing. Obama was routinely called a Communist-Leftist-Muslim-Marxist-Nazi just for the impact those terms had on a certain audience, not because his policies or beliefs could be firmly identified as any of that. ANYBODY nowadays can be called a 'Nazi' because it's still such a boogeyman term. And now we have those people in power-- or those who associate with the people in power based upon entirely cosmetic qualifications-- declaring that they're the target of racism because people are resisting their own behavior.

White Privilege is held as a privilege because it is enforced as a privilege. It always has been in America. Some qualification of the privilege can be observed when economic status is considered, but it is still very-much there. it's just not as codified as it once was... for the time being.

I've always strongly suspected that conservatives don't want to address how screwed this society is, because they actually do have a conscience but addressing the problems with a social system that benefits them so greatly will to great a threat to their own confidence, itself.

But then, testimonials FROM actual blacks about how they have to put up with all kinds of shit that whites never dream of, can be found online.
I, for one, am tired of people crying racism over black people’s perceived oppression. You don’t know what oppression is. I studied history and the slavery days of decades past, long before any if us were born, is what oppression is. And guess who ended slavery? White people! The 13th Amendment outlawed slavery. Regardless of the color of your skin, the only thing responsible for any oppression you think you may have, today, is yourselves.
I’m white, but to this day I have yet to experience this fabled white privilege people speak of. I’ve had my fair share of injustices and I was never given anything on a silver platter. To this day, I have to stay in motion and work hard because at anytime, I could find myself out of a job and even out of a home. In my profession, I see every color and creed and let me tell you. We are ALL human. If you act like an animal, you’ll get treated like one. A black person has as much opportunity to succeed as a white person and it disgusts me how some of then and the non-blacks who help tow the “mah oppression!” line refuse to consider that they need to get off that plantation of perceived oppression and actually put forth the effort and make something of their lives.
Because let me remind you, there are job laws in place forbidding discrimination of certain races when hiring. If anything, I’ve noticed a notorious increase in racism again white men because of people like you who look at everything through a race lens instead of judging someone for the content of their character rather than their skin.

That is a monumentally silly interpretation, but that completely bonkers spin possibly explains some of the inexplicable outrage expressed by those who are being asked to gain a little bit of awareness of oppression that they consistently deny even exists.
