Ever wondered what the zoo looks like behind the scenes?
Then this is your chance, because we are organizing an exclusive tour behind the scenes of the Antwerp zoo.
Sounds interesting? Read along, but be sure to subscribe quickly though, the spots available are limited!

On Saturday 11/08/2018 we will go to the Antwerp zoo. As mentioned above, a guided tour behind the scenes is part of our program!
We will gather in front of the main entrance of the zoo, right next to train station “Antwerpen Centraal” (Koningin Astridplein 20-26, 2018 Antwerpen) at 12:30h.
The guided tour itself will start at 13:00h, so we shall enter the zoo about 10 minutes in advance at the latest.
After the tour, there will be plenty of time to roam around freely and to visit your favorite animals.

At 16:45 at the latest we will gather again at the entrance of the zoo to go get some dinner. Because of the distances and the fact that the city centre will be too crowded due to the Antwerp Pride, we decided to stay in the vicinity of the zoo.
After a short walk, at 17:00h we are expected at Wagamama, an amazing ramen and Asian food restaurant. (you can view the menu here.) Is Asian food not your thing? There are plenty of other good restaurants and eating places nearby.

After dinner, we have one last surprise to close off the day. We have reserved some spots at the skybar, which is a short walk from Wagamama and right next to the train station. This is a fancy cocktail bar at the top floor of a hotel with an amazing view over the Antwerp skyline. (And depending on where we are seated, we can even view the zoo from above!) Our time slot starts at 19:30h, which is early enough so people who need to catch a train can still enjoy a drink at this unique place. (Take a look here. and here.)

Some practical info:
* There is a maximum amount of 20 places for the guided tour so if you want to join, don’t wait too long. If more people are interested, we will use a waiting list.
* For both Wagamama and the Skybar we have 16 spots available, but if necessary, we can try to reserve some extra spots.
* If we are with 15 persons or more, the reduced group-tariff for the zoo is €22,50. The price for the guided tour is €3,75. Please bring the right amount of cash to make things go smooth!
* We strongly recommend to come by public transport, as Antwerp is hell on earth for cars. Be sure to check your routes with De Lijn and NMBS.
* For this event, no fursuits, kigurumis or fursuit parts are allowed, sorry!
