I become very generous.. x'D
while i'm working with commissions and short single story, I want to suggest you get a sketch in return for reading manga! I really like this project and i just want to share it with you! more readers, more, MORE! haha
you can read it here:
https://www.webtoons.com/en/challen.....itle_no=148934
and author's page: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/nerior
the short information about the story:
In the Worlds of Nonai and Dekai to come across a mortal, a spirit or even a deity - a common occurence, but there are also such things that defies the logic of this worlds. But does it all matter if you do not remember or even know anything about yourself, who you are, and also managed to get into the very strange company.
you have to read this manga from the beginning to the end and write here a detailed review about the best moments, your favourite character or anything you want to say!
i'll draw sketches for every person (let it be 5 for the first time :"D) which reviews will be the most touching or full-wiev.
thank you and good luck! c:
and no commissions are closed xDDDDD

Lore: I want to start off with this because I think that this has to be the main point to this comic I thought was the most interesting. I can tell Nerior spent a LOT I mean A FREAKIN LOT of time building this world. I'd honestly guess this is something that theyve been developing in their head over years. The depth to the world and all of pieces and inhabitants is pretty well thought through and surprisingly original. I like that Nerior took concepts we are familiar with and decided to put his own spin on them. Thats something I can always appreciate in a story when you dont see the standard and usual take on things like demons being always purely evil guys with horns and red skin. Nerior sticks in a lot of nice little FAQ and other bits at the end of each chapter to really help supplement and explain the Lore and history of the world to the reader. This is a great touch as putting these here rather than trying to have the characters explain all of it in the actual dialogue and story would probably not work well within the scenes so they made a good decision with adding the bonus Lore in their FAQ's.
Story: I'll try to go over this one without giving away any spoilers for people who might happen to be reading this before reading the actual manga. The pacing on the story seems really nice and fluid. At first there were some things that had me slightly confused but are later explained. The author noted that there were some translation issues and while this did make a few things come off a bit odd I was still able to get a very solid grip and understanding of what was going on and I was able to follow along. One of the best aspects to the storytelling was the humor. I loved it! Nerior does a great job of keeping a good balance between the serious moments and those that made me want to piss myself from laughing so hard LOL. My favorite gag has to be the exploding cows... It sounds really silly but Nerior did a GREAT job executing the joke especially in one of the Extra Chapters which by the way these are great I really appreciate the extra chapters quite a lot. As far as I've read (up to chapter 27 not sure if there is more in Russian) the story arc that he's established is pretty solid and I have a good understanding of the characters and what each is trying to accomplish as well as even knowing some of their backstories and the reasoning behind why they are the way they are or why they choose to take certain actions.
Characters: The characters are VERY well done. They all feel very grounded and relatable. The main cast so far each has their own struggles to deal with as well as their own ways of dealing with them. The way that Nerior has chosen to have them deal with their struggles makes them feel relatable through that as well as his great use of expression and emotion. I'm really digging how goofy and diverse the cast is as well. I can really appreciate how each character feels balanced. What I mean by that is none of them feels like "kirito" copy cats. They all have powers and the ones with immense powers have extreme drawbacks and imperfections that make their struggles real and grounded
Artwork: It goes without saying that Nerior is a DAMN good artist and an excellent mangaka. The character and creature designs in this piece are top notch. They did a great job of solidifying the world they worked to build and I'm loving every aspect of it. The visual stimulation i recieve with every turn of the page is pure bliss. Nerior did a great job with their panels and how they flow throughout the manga. The readability and clarity of the piece is strong.
Important note:
Daikiri is cute as hell I want to marry him. Thanks for sharing this manga dude its actually pretty radical I'm enjoying it a lot. I'm going to be supporting Nerior on patreon so I can read the rest of it... and because I really want to see the NSFW pictures of Daikiri and Nori LOOOL.
amazing review, thank you for sharing your thoughts!!! my english is imperfect, but i want to write a long answer and just can't xDD
actually Nerior spent 10 years to this project, i think this work is worth the time. send you a lot of love for reading!~
\send me your character for sketch in the notes please!\
I love the way Daikiri's design looks, especially the legs. Such a cool combo of humanoid and animal features! It's refreshing. Especially that wolf design, I'm with Kinari on that one.
Such a cool horse design too, what a good boy, catching rabbits. Harold is the goodest boy.
This extra is one of my favorite moments! Ughh, they're so cuuuute https://tapas.io/episode/569885
And without spoiling anything, Nori is just... so cool! I really wanna draw her.
I really like Kuto and his honesty, and his willing to do what is right. His face and expressions are soft, and I really like that about him.
And the white demon, so pretty... ah.
Sorry my comments are all over the place, I was writing this while I was reading and updated it along the way.
I just want to say, sketch or not, thank you for showing me this comic. I'm always looking for new interesting things to read, and this was that and more.
The way the world is divided is done in such a way that I found it really interesting and unique. There's not just hybrids, but everyone is unique and there's so many different individuals/species, all with their own powers and traits. Like Kuto and Daikiri, even though they seem to part animal/part human, there's still that difference there. They're not the same and that distinction is a good one. They all have a sort of social hierarchy. I especially liked the way that all creatures were deemed mortals, and that there's really no such thing as "human", only mortals, and gods, and those in between. It really adds more life to the story than just hybrids and everyone else. It's diverse and interesting to learn about. I'm sure with all this lore you could create a sort of textbook on it.
(Spoilers, for anyone who hasn't read it)
The way that "Blondie" (I just woke up and his proper name escapes me, my apologies) seeks his healing is something that kinda hits home with me. Trying fruitlessly to find the cure, almost going crazy, natural herbs and spices, not to mention the loss of that role model figure, it's heartbreaking. I hope it doesn't consume him too much. Especially with his past, he seems kinda ostricised from everyone else around him. I feel that the new wind spirit/demon/elemental Heisuri has some sort of connection to the white demon. I think he sees that too There's definitely something deeper to his story, and I'm interested to see it revealed over time.
The notion that Daikiri and Sumi (?) are technically zombies is still something that kinda baffles me, including the notion that Medusa is sort of... willing him to be there? I'm not sure I understand it quite 100%, but. It gets more and more curious. When he's defeating the sort of chimera clone, he has that moment where he sort of hallucinates, he's constantly being urged to remember. He's recalling past moments, like the fight with the chimera, but I still get the lurking feeling there's much more he has to remember and learn.. being kept in the dark with the main protagonist is an interesting storytelling tactic, and it's keeping me enthralled and ready to read more.
Hopefully these thoughts are a bit clearer, and signify my stance on the story.
i agree that the story seems very alive, i think it was rather difficult to do it this way
what about Blondie, he wanted to help every other person, and he did it. problems with the health is a baulay' problem, for all this species, not for him only. i also like how author tells us about common problems, that actual for everyone. Blondie had problems with the family because he went against the traditions and instead of fighting with the wind spirit, began to communicate with him.
Heisui is a riddle for me too, lets wait the answers together!
Daikiri and Sumi not are zombies, this is a humor xD Daikiri just not in his own body and Sumi was dead the way like heart attack, temporary death.
you can ask me some questions if you want to, but the author can answer to you better!
thank you for your opinion again! send me your character in the notes please!
Right, that's why I relate to him so much. He's just trying to do his best, and his struggles are relatable--it breaks my heart he feels the necessity to go through them alone, and I wish he would let Daikiri help, but at the same time, I can understand him wanting to be alone too.. It just saddens me to see him in pain, well, the species as a whole. The strength needs to be balanced out somehow, but still, it is a I know it was humor, I felt it was just a funny, accurate way to describe their situations x3 Temporary death, that makes much more sense! As for Daikiri not having his own body, how curious...
Sorry for the misunderstanding! I'm very excited to see where the story goes.
And sending it your way! Thank you very very much.
