Okay. New Project. But I'm doing this one a little different

The Sandman
The Sandman is an ageless (or, at the very least, slow-aging) being- a doctor, one might say.
He has been known to assist the insomniacs to sleep; to ease the dying's pain while they pass- even, on rare occasion, to assist surgeons with anesthesia.
At one time, only a few years past, he was commonly found in a small town . . . (no name for it yet)
Five years past, he was a major role in the town.
He was a flighty character, but still seen in the streets often, hauling his cart of sands from the night shores of the fountain of youth.
It was the seventeenth day of the sixth month when William's parents died. He was seventeen at the time, the oldest of six children.
Two of them- the next oldest- passed the same day, leaving his three youngest siblings in his care.
Sandman was the one who found his mother, father, and siblings just outside of town, and the one who brought them, in his cart, to the door of the leopard family's house-
and the one who, once the remaining children had sniffed their goodbyes, swept sand over their eyes and allowed them to leave this world peacefully.
the next two years, William was forced to move his family out of their home- into a four-room shamble closer to the edge of town.
over this time, sandman, taking pity on the children, would fleetingly appear to help put the younger ones to bed, to ensure that their dreams were not haunted by their parent's death.
and, over this time, William found himself incapable of turning away the orphans who inevitably showed up at hs door- shelter, even without any real food, being better than sleeping on doorsteps and in gutters.

Kwatus was the sort who never went to school. AN elephant, making a sturdy living as a taxi pull and delivery man. He was raised in an extremely self-centered lifestyle, but left in his early teens, upon realizing the detriments of such a way of dealing with things. (old habits are hard to break however, and coupled with his natural cynicism and generally standoffish, can make him a bother to be around)
He met William a few years before will's parents died, and they lost contact quickly, only meeting up again within the year after their passing-
as of now, they have a barter system.
William allows Kwatus room and board, and in return he will provide taxi and delivery services- or help watch the kids.
(he is nineteen as of the time of ths story, whereas will is 22)
He knows the sandman n passing, but otherwise has no real opinion on the character.
(Kwatus is an elephant)

Heather is the oldest child currently in Williams care. She is seventeen and quiet. She is one of the few orphans who had the opportunity to learn to read and write before losing her home, and as such will home school the younger children, to give them any edge they can get for life in the future.
She was the first orphan to come in to Williams house from off the street, and holds a passing love interest in Kwatus.
She holds a bit of a grudge against the Sandman, relating to how her parents died and hs involvement.

Sasha is the youngest of Williams siblings, and arguably the favorite- she is a bold child, six years of age as of this story, and a natural leader. She is often up and helping out any way she can, even iis that means that she's more in the way than doing the dishes.
When the sandman reappears in this story, she takes to him immediately.
(her and her siblings are African Leopards)

Emmeri is one of those kindly waitresses.- working the entire diner for not -quite- enough money- but she's a kind woman and loves what she does.
she has a hot head on her shoulders, but all she -really- wants s a friend-
which she pretends that she's found in Kwatus, who comes by the restaurant for deliveries, and whose ear she likes to chat off every chance she gets- being that he's the only one who treats her even remotely like a person on a regular basis.
she knows William and his lot primarily in passing on the street and friendly hellos.
she has a general mistrust in the sandman, but has never seen him with her own eyes.

so, this story takes place AFTER those events.
five years after willam's parents died, three after the sandman disappeared.
this starts on a night when will s trying to get Sasha to sleep, and it goes from there based primarily on responses to the sandman's reappearance and the reactions of those six to him and each other.
Ths s where y'alls come in. . .
this s intended to be a Musical.

Animated, goof god, PLEASE LORD ANIMATED.
I need, in this order,
a writer, because quite frankly, i can't finish a damn story to save my lfe.
should be written in script format, of course.
I -MIGHT- do lyrics, if nobody else can do it =P
a COMPOSER.
preferably more than ONE, to do the scores and songs.
i would like to have something closer to the original musical formula- all the songs sharing some fundamental musical element. be it just rearranged notes or whatever.
ths s intended ot be a CHALLENGE to you, as musicans.
score isn't required until post-production, i beleive, but the "songs" are, if you get my sloppy english as to what i mean by the dfference.
VOCALISTS.
should be able to sing as well as VOICE ACT.
f you're interested, please inquire within. I have an idea as to, based on personality, what each character should sound like, but if we can't all sing on the same key, then we're fucked anyway =P

either CGI or Traditional- hell, even flash, as long as t's POSSIBLE TO AMKE A FEATURE-LENGTH FILM.

I know plenty of places to make molds for DVDs (yes, legitimate DVDs, not home-burned) so it'd just be figuring out the commands, whch i do not want to touch, because i am incompetent lke that.

I don't want to bea heavly nvolved, as in, doing work.
've met myself.
t will never get done.
I'm, like, the dude with the coffee, or a co-drector.
I want to see how it works, and I'd like to retain some rights to the characters, or SOMETHING. . .
and 'd like a vocal part, for sure.
and 'd be the one you'd pass your stuff by to say "HEY S THIS OKEY" but that's ABOUT T. (oh, and moderate character design x3)

if for profit, then it wll be a split, and you'd get a check say, every 25$ or so.

I'm still in the process of getting all the character and world references that I have on the computer, so if you're for sure up for it, I'll shoot them to you as soon as I can :3 (and hopefully my scribbles will make sense -_-)
closest you'd get is Kwatus, I think, but he's mroe withdrawn, than anything D::
still in the process of contacting the writer,t hough (he's. . . being attacked by life, at the moment) so any sort of vocals are still along way off. . .
