Quiet issue this time I think.
One thing that interests me is streaming. It's not a new debate, but one that's interesting to me. Spotify is one of the most used music listening formats of the modern age, second only to YouTube I'd think, and this makes me wonder how much can actually be made using streaming sites?
The prime advantages to the streaming sites that I can see for a musician is that your audience can hear it before they buy it, so they know what they're getting. I'm sure you're already saying that this is a double-edged sword, and it is, and I'll cover the other edge in a second. On the side of the creator, it means that your audience might be more likely to purchase something they've already heard. The other side is about discovery of music, more applicable to the mobile-based playlist things with skips and whatever else fancy smartphone gubbins is used. Basicly getting your music out there.
The downsides are of course that if someone can just listen to the music on spotify, they might think "why buy it?" Or, there are certainly ways to extract music from spotify without purchasing it and not even needing to stream it.
So here's the question. For those of you who do have music up on streaming sites, firstly, do you make enough back from their inclusion on streaming sites to cover the cost of putting them up on there, and secondly does that income actually make a significant dent in your pocket?

A visit to the tri-weekly Londonfurs meets made me wonder to what level is it possible to perform music in a fursuit? Microphoning one up would be difficult, and then there's the issue of heat from within it. And if so, roughly how long could one perform within a fursuit at say, room temperature? I also don't think fullsuit musical performances would be either practical or maybe even possible, you could certainly partial and get most/all of the same effect with prolonged endurance. I'd think, at least.

And well, i can say something about that e.e
first be on this sites wasnt hard
spotify has spotify for artist its an example, and there are some sites that can upload to many streaming sites free (https://freshtunes.com/ this is the site i use)
And its help you to be there and be discover for many persons, besides you win a little for each stream they do of your music, each favorite, each shazam e.e XD, they dont hear your music free those sites are premium.
I think is really good to an artist be on this streaming sites, one of our objetives is to be hear.
And about money, it depens of your public, if you have listeners you can receive money faster and easy, else it takes a time.
well, this is my little experience in this, and is my point in this debate e.e :3

However--I am in no ways near a Profesional.
On a broader Note-
I feel that this sort of theft only really affects newcomers to the music streaming world.
