Hey everyone, though I'm not a big manga reader I recently got in to a series that has just recently came out, a fantasy romance called Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts.

The story involves a fantasy realm where anthro beast kind and human kind live separate from each other and are strictly forbidden from entering opposite kingdoms. A mystical cloud of Myisma surrounds the beast kingdom that is poisonous to humans and every night of revelation a human girl is to be sacrificed to keep the cloud over the kingdom. But once the 99th sacrifice, Sariphi, arrives she is the only one that does not show fear to the king of beasts. As the two get to know each other, a friendship blossoms, but with the night of sacrifice coming, what can they do to be together and what secrets does the beast king hold?


Overall is a very interesting fantasy romance story of two different worlds with immense tension with each other and its very fascinating to learn more about the inhabitants of the beast realm since some resemble basic anthro designs while some seem like a hybrid mutation of different animals.

The relationship with Sariphi and the Beast King is quite good. They spend a lot of time together and despite acting like a goof at times, Sariphi gains respect for the king as she learns and experiences more of the beast kingdom and the kings duty.

The artwork is good as it depicts the beast kind species and the story is easy to follow and the writing does a good job of keeping you engaged and eager to know what happens next.

Overall I think it's a good manga series so far. There are currently two volumes available in the USA and the 3rd is coming this October.
