On the 21st through the 31st of October, post a journal/tweet/etc that's calledLIGHTS ON
This shows that your "porch light" is on and you're accepting Trick or Treaters.
People can come to your journal/tweet/etc and comment "Trick or Treat!" or whatever other code word you'd like to use.
At which point, the creator of the journal can offer up art as treats for those who comment. They don't have to have it as first come first serve, and they don't have to do everyone who comments either!
And, as to not overwhelm people, you can set a limit as to how many trick or treaters you'll take.
Everyone runs out of candy eventually! Once you hit your limit you can change your journal to Lights off or closed, etc.
I feel this could be a chance for some people to get some art and have fun while doing it as well~
Also, please don't be greedy! Be courteous to your other Trick or Treaters!

Artist with Journal: A house on Halloween actively giving out treats
Watchers/commentors: 'Trick-or-treaters', i.e. the kids going around that night.
The 'Candy': usually a freebie art that the artist gives away. Each has their own rules and specifics, of course.
"Lights off": to signify to watchers that they have 'run out of candy' (i.e. hit their limit of art for that day)
"I got a flat-color!"
"...I got a rock."
