i need to take my cat to the emergency vet right now and i have no money.

i am taking commissions so i can get money to care for him
the past week my cat has been having constipation issues. i have been giving him miralax which the vet recommended the last time i brought him in. it had been helping a little bit but he hasn't gone poop in a couple days now. i planned to do sketch streaming tonight to make some money and take him to the vets tomorrow. I called to make an appointment with my vet and was told he should go to emergency care tonight. i am panicking because i have no money at all right now. a normal visit to my vet cost 60 and that is just to be seen by a normal vet . i am under the impression that the emergency vet will cost more.


i have a bunch of new ychs i was working on today so i could finance my cats trip to the vet before i realized how urgent the situation was. im gonna post them now as first come first serve type payment
Since I was approved for the carecredit credit card it gives me a bit more time so I will be posting these ych as 24 hour tomorrow

i just signed up for a CareCredit card in the hopes i can use it to help finance my cats vet visit. time will tell if i just made a really bad decision or not...

Thank goodness for the credit card that allowed me to go to the emergency vet with my cat. 400 dollars and some hours later I don't know what is wrong with him. The visit to the emergency vet cost 155 and then he got x Ray's and a couple of other things done. The total ended just around 400. They said he wasn't constipated but if the problem isn't constipation then it's his lack of appetite. Found out when I got home that he pooped just before we left for the vet... So those x-rays could have been avoided. The problem still remains that he is not eating. I'm taking him to the normal vet tomorrow to get blood work done.

Update:
Got the blood test results back. The vet said he had an elevated white blood cell count and I guess one of his kidney values was a little elevated. Can't be sure it's a kidney problem till we get the results back for his urine test.

Got a call with the results for his urine test and was told there was nothing remarkable. Its a relief to find out his problem is not kidney related. Unfortunately I still have no idea what is wrong with him.

finally went back to the vets today to see if we could find out whats going on with my cat. the doctor went over the test results because the one who was in charge of the urine analysis was a different doctor. she told me she DOES think it is a kidney issue because his urine was more diluted. right now the biggest problem is trying to get him to eat. he has lost a little over two pounds since the end of October. he is 9.8 pounds right now. she gave me anti-nausea medication for him so we can get him to eat.
