Moving on from the mobian community? Need opinions

I had this thought for quite some time. I feel like Lesly doesn’t really belong to the mobian community. Ever since AuntyMoira (Becky) came back to the mobian scene it made it more noticeable (due to most mobians come from Inkbunny and DeviantArt), mobian characters are cutesy, stylish, sexy (normal way) and they blend quite well but they also have this tendency to trash/troll trashy characters. I know some fellow mobian friends don’t have the same thoughts but there have been moments were ex-mobian-friends just stopped talking to me because of my character Lesly, which is understandable, not to mention the ‘memes’ against trashy characters.
I have no problem with the big mobian artists. They are all good people and I love AuntyMoira and Zeta!, been following them for many many years that I feel like Becky and Zeta are the faces for the mobian community. (along with others!)
But yeah, as for Lesly, If I end up moving on then that means removing the mobian muzzle on Lesly and making it more furry/anime styled but that’s it, other than moving on from Lesly the wolf to Lesly Wolfess (like some kind of last name lol).
She will keep everything, from body figure to personality and main outfit, even the same muzzle color (closest example: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16578018/ )
I feel like the furry community is far more welcoming and less in your face, due to the big amount of freaks lol, I also love how trashy characters are pretty much welcome, 2 of my favorites are Marika from
teer and Katrina from

Even most of my friends are into the furry community and some already moved on from the mobian-community and there is also some of my mobian friends thinking about moving on as well.
But this is all a mere thought. There is still this small project with
moralde10 and also all the fanart that has been accumulating through the years and my stuff and the watchers.
So, I don’t know lol, any comments for your buddy -jackpot-?
UPDATE1: Thanks everyone for your comments c: they really matter a lot to me!, I am still thinking about it and slowwwly getting an answer that could work out!, if anything, I will keep updating this journal
UPDATE2: I have been getting some amazing feedback!, but I am aware people aren't that used to it yet!, might as well draw some more lesly and more mobians in that style to see how it goes!, thanks everyone!!

If it's Lesly's turn, it's Lesly's turn. May her curves and lips continue to impress, whichever way. XD
For those who like mobian lesly, keep her, and for those who don't like the mobian version, make a regular anthro Lesly.
Switch it up every now and then to try and appease both sides, and if you're still losing friends over something so petty as you drawing things mobian style from time to time, then they weren't really friends worth having in the first place.
That's just my 2 cents on the matter. Do what you want, really.
But I never hated on my friends for drawing in that style I moved on from it because my two best friends at the time left me and I couldn't stand to not have them and the girl I loved inspired me to draw more anthro style because that's what she did. But whatever makes you happy I know I'm very selective with people in the community because I have worked YEARS to try and be different than that style and I still get messages and requests to draw sonic style I had to keep mentioning and arguing with people about how that's not my style and the fandom left a bad taste in my mouth but of course people will be people. I am always going to support you jackpot you have been nothing but nice to me and it means the world to me whatever you choose to do I'll still draw some lesly for you <3
But I can't deny good art and stuff when I see it.
Evolution is a good thing. Believe it or not, Waccoon wasn't always inkblot style. However, that evolution happened because I was unhappy with his old design, and not because the style clashed with another artist or community. If you want to reinvent Lesly, only do it because you're bored and want to try something new.
Actually the toxicity of this community is part of why I'm hardly ever on FA anymore and instead just hang out on Discord -shrug-
