Contact financial instition you use ask for copies of the transaction. Then in order send via registerd letter one set of those records to your rental agency or person along with notification you will be at the eviction hearing with the copy of the transaction that you have to show the judge that you are not in the wrong. Next file a damages claim. While i cant help monetairelly i can give you a course of action.

I was told by my bank that the money was sent to the payment center for my apartment, apartment management shows that I paid the rent and haven't received the money, I have the receipt showing I paid and I know the funds were taken out of my account within three days of the receipt, in short, all account numbers and routing numbers checked out. The bank is investigating to see what happened to the funds. Either way, even with proof that I paid and the payment service shows I paid, I still have to pay the the above totals.

Your bank records and such should show that you made a payment and where it went, check or credit should save that information. Make sure they aren't scamming you because if you see that they got the payment and are demanding another then they would be breaking the law.

How is rent $2100? Thats a ridiculous amount for rent. That would be like 3-4 months of non-payment unless you're renting a mansion. Eviction notices would require several non-payments in a row too I believe.

My rent is around $1200.00, and that does not include late fees around (400.00) and court costs ($150.00 (and since they want me to pay that with a credit card, there is a fee that is between $200.00 and $300.00 for the payment to be posted immediately)). Your rent situation there seems odd still, but at least you have proof which means they aren't allowed to evict you. If you haven't seen yet, this may help.
