The policy of a site and the opinions of its users are hardly comparable. I’m not all that into over analyzing furry art myself, but clearly the comic has gotten people’s knickers in a twist because it is supposed to depict consensual acts, yet ends up nonchalantly breaking the rules.

Rules that are unbreakable only in a real life context where someone can actually get hurt. But aside from that, people are free not to like the picture and it's content. My problem is exactly with the reasoning behind it and the general inability to separate fiction from reality that people have, often treating artists behind said pics as actual rapists or mad men.

It's an argument that merely triggers me beyond reason and, as free as people is to click the downvote on the thing, I think it's in my right to, somehow, downvote the downvotes, if you get my meaning. Surely the picture doesn't do more than many other iamges do on the site, in terms of violation and non-con, in fact it's rather tame and art wise it really doesn't deserve the disapproval and it's only getting it because Nick is involved.

You can have all the reasons of the world not to enjoy something, I can still find them unreasonable.

About overanylizing pictures, I live with drawings. I'm literally trying to get an income out of them. It's only normal I think a LOT more than other people would when it comes to how they're perceived, much like a director thinks a lot more about movies than a normal person would, especially when, like in this specific case, a friend made it. I can understand if you don't understand it, it's fine, even if you don't agree.
