in the last few weeks, our service department has had at least three people quit and/or get fired. on top of that, not much work is coming in these last two-three months except for the stuff covered under warranty/recalls which doesnt pay fairly, and the customers are mostly not agreeing to any additional work that the cars need outside of warranty, even if your rear brakes are less than 1mm of pad thickness before they're metal-on-metal fucking ford c-max that came in at 10:17 this morning... "ohh no brakes this time, just do the recalls a.k.a the free stuff!" fine, but dont come whining to me when you need to make an emergency stop and your brakes have no friction to them...

the work i am getting is headache-inducingly difficult, and pretty much all covered under underpaying ford warranties. so i get a headache, AND i only get paid for TWO hours out of the fucking 5-AND-A-HALF hours it took me to take the fucking dashboard out just to replace that fucking Takata airbag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would have quit myself by now if one of these fucking job applications ive sent out could just fucking call me back!!! i have to get out of this fucking shithole, i need to get to some kinda fair-paying hourly-rate fleet mechanic job or fucking something!!


sorry about the rant people, just my fucking job life sucks right now and i want to fucking punch something
