So Volks Wagon finally bought back that piece of shit Eos off my hands. For those of you that don't know what made it such a deplorable and over priced polished turd is that as a hard top convertable, there is no rim around the door windows like on a conventional car. Therefore the car raises and lowers the window a 1/4 inch automatically to clear the roof. It does not always go back up and last winter I had my windows open against my will for over a week while ice and snow accumulated on my door interior. THANK YOU LEMON LAW!

But it wasn't as easy today as walk in with car, walk out with check! NO!!!! becasuse some asshole dinged the side of my car with their door TWICE in the same quater of the car (rear driver's side) I had to shell out $680 for repairs BEFORE they would give me a check.

So is that the end of my news for today. you would be wrong again for yet another vehicle incident occured. For you see my friends, as I was driving my father's car to deposit my big fat check from returning the Eos, I struck another car with my father's.

I'm fine and my father's car is ... driveable and otherwise "okay" but the good news is that I was not at fault! I was in the far right lane on a 4 lane street when a car in the lane left of me allowed in another driver to enter the parking lot that was on my right. I had no way of seeing this car and even though the stopping car was being polite, he blocked my view of this oncomming car. So my bumper met his wheel well ... quite well. The police officer said that the other driver was at fault for crossing over my lane as for I had the right of way and cited him with a warning.

And then I went to the happy bank. My father said things like that happen and he decided to continue the week he had ahead of him with my mother camping in Nova Scotia.

Cars suck.
