Yet many of us do know, to a certain degree, of what goes on behind the scenes, and we have still been critical of your actions, Pinkuh. We have discussed them in journals that you have most likely read; and you most likely know, as well, that many people feel that you do not have the qualities to be a fair, effective, principled administrator on FA. And from what I have seen, I would have to agree.

For the most part, I have great sympathy for the administrators: they really do have a tough time. But when they act on principle, as Dragoneer has with his recent banning of animal abusers, I respect what they do.

I would like to respect what you do, Pinkuh. But from what I've seen, and from what I've been told by people I trust, you are not a principled administrator.

Damaratus (lead administrator) stated to me, more than a year ago now, that Pinkuh could not be trusted as an administrator since she "ran off her emotions". He stated that she would be assigned to cover the FA IRC channel only, since it was there she could do the least damage.

I saw, on the admin forums, Dragoneer tear strips off Pinkuh since she would try to get her way by threatening to resign on occasion. She also threatened to sabotage/ruin the FA united convention once. I saw her perma-ban "thegreathamster" with zero rules-breaking on TGH's part and then I saw another administrator clear it up as Pinkuh refused to. When an ex-administrator offered to help over the Christmas holidays,there was an admin vote on whether or not to take them up, Pinkuh had at at that time, temporarily stepped down as an admin, and in response to this vote, she demanded to be made an admin again so she could vote against them & stated that it was because she disliked them, putting personal grudges ahead of the good of the community and site. On top of those things can be piled things like the journal tantrum directed at Bernal. If Pinkuh was not suitable to be an admin a year ago, she has only proven herself less suitable as time passes.

From the evidence of Pinkuh's performance as an administrator, I believe that rather than a steward of the community, as an administrator should be, she is a detriment to the community and destroys goodwill towards the site.

It's a blow to the community that Preyfar and Damaratus did not have the spine to follow up their stated intention that Pinkuh should not have been an administrator, and they damage the community of Furaffinity thereby and tarnish their own role as stewards and custodians.

I do not say any of this out of any spite, bitterness or hatred for Pinkuh, I have no doubt that she is a good person, but purely in her role as an administrator, I believe, based on the evidence I have seen, she is a detriment to the site and community and she should be removed, as Damaratus and Dragoneer intended to do.

There is *no excuse* for Pinkuh's behavior as an adminstrator and the image in the journal post rings extremely hollow. It does not sum up "admin life" in a nutshell.

I hope that Pinkuh will at least not delete this comment.

I remember TheGreatHamster's banning very well, and arguing that the ban was unfair. It was one of my first indications that something was deeply wrong on FA.

Instead of being told by Pinkuh that I NEED to see a picture, I would rather hear about Pinkuh's efforts to improve her work... or about Dragoneer's resolve to correct her actions, or, if necessary, to let her go. As I've said, I very much respect Dragoneer's banning of EbonLupus and of other abusers, but now I would urge him to deal with this old, lingering issue that has annoyed so many people on FA.

It's time for change.

That was a year ago, and at this point you do not really see what's going on behind the scenes. You don't know the work that people have put in to various areas, and I can assure you, that despite the complaints, Pinkuh was putting in almost as many hours as you were putting in when you were on staff. You already know what it's like to be vilified by an outside audience, it's incredible that you go among them and spout this continuously when they were the ones who were at your throat when you were trying to do your job. Of course there's still work that needs to be done, of course some of the staff still gets frustrated and angry when things go awry and we're still prone to being human. Pinkuh has offered up apologies in the past, which is something that was not found in many other people who have passed through as staff.

I'm as equally prone to being frustrated and human in the ways that I work. As you continue to mention, I tended to sit on the fence with some issues, I still do at times, just as you continue to post this same thing, over and over again even after a year. I think we all have faults to work on, but at this point I will back Pinkuh up as an staff member.

Why does an admin need two admin accounts, and why are they not listed on the staff page? This has the potential to create confusion about who is on staff or not and whether the two accounts are separate people. Qmelon/arshesnei has had admin accounts for nearly a year now, why have, at the very least, the two accounts not been added to the staff page in this time?

Something I want to emphasise is continuity in Pinkuh's behaviour. In January this year, she posted a photograph of a sex toy, quite obviously breaking the rules, and since she stated afterwards that she knew the rules and didn't want to be lectured about them, she was *knowingly breaking them*.

A month or two ago, she threw a tantrum after Bernal decided he didn't want her to contribute to his website. She posted a journal encouraging people to pirate his art and insulting him. This is absolutely astonishing behaviour from an administrator, esp. the longest serving one, and clearly demonstrates that she has not changed in the slightest since she described herself on #core as being "petty and vindictive".

The posting of this image is also an indication of another continuity: excuses rather than action, as dq405 said: "Instead of being told by Pinkuh that I NEED to see a picture, I would rather hear about Pinkuh's efforts to improve her work... or about Dragoneer's resolve to correct her actions, or, if necessary, to let her go."

In the comments below, she dismissively states that the opinion of someone using the site, dq405, *does not matter*: "The people that matter on this site". These incidents establish that Pinkuh's behaviour which manifests itself in TGH's permaban, the tantrum journal, photos of sex toys and the dismissive and contemptuous attitude towards the community, to name but a few things, has continued unabated.

To try and dismiss what I say on the basis that I don't have access to #core or the admin forums is disingenuous, since I have enough experience to know that as a lead administrator, you have no clearly defined powers or role, due to omission or oversight by Dragoneer, and that your repeatedly demonstrated behaviour is to avoid taking any differcult decisions and/or the path of least resistance, here manifesting itself in your decision to avoid dealing with Pinkuh's behaviour.

You are supposed to be the lead administrator and a pillar of and steward of the community of this site. By refusing to deal with an administrator who treats the community with contempt and a laissez faire attitude to the rules, you are continuing to fail as a steward.

I want to emphasise again here that Pinkuh's actions are a drip-drip-drip (And occasionally a flood) eroding peoples trust in and goodwill for the site and administration and hurting the community, and to take the path of least resistance is to fail as a steward and further damage peoples trust in and goodwill for the site, and the community.

It is well for you to say that:

"I'm as equally prone to being frustrated and human in the ways that I work"

But this is exactly the kind of excuse you were making a year ago. When you hear excuses, or apologies, time and time again, but no action to back them up or indicate they are sincere, it wears very thin indeed.

In short, Damaratus, I would like to ask:

At what point does an administrator go beyond "being frustrated and human," as you say, and begin to show what appears to be unsuitability for the job?

And what would it take to bring about changes in Pinkuh's behaviour, in her attitude to those of us on FA who, in her opinion, apparently "don't matter," in her tendency to anger people for reasons that seem to have nothing to do with her responsibilities as an administrator?

If you get angry becuase of my words, that is not my fault. My words are just that. Words. Most of the time my words are to inform people of the rules they break. When your words bring those tidings nearly constantly, It's hard to not make people angry.

I am instructed to act this way, and in every big situation on this site recently I am the one that takes the final sweep for just this reason. If other admins were looked on as I am currently, their jobs would be eternally more difficult.
