Taking a break + Anthrocon 2010?
General
I've been pretty lazy with uploading/drawing more art and have decided to take a break.
Scribbling for hours and getting nothing done ain't exactly fun, so for the next few days I'm gonna take it slow. Real slow.
My guess is that sometime next week I'll be over this mini artblock thing. At least, that's what I hope.
It's maybe because my job's being a bitch and financially I received a pretty big setback just recently.
BUT all that crap aside, I'd say things are going better then the last few years so I can't really complain much. :3
On another note: Is anyone (already) planning to attend AC2010?
I went this year but my roomies were spending most of the time selling their stuff in Artist's Alley.
Since I'm anything but a social butterfly, I've spend most of the time walking around on my own.
Sure it was fun and I'm definitely going back, but it would be more fun if I can hang out with some people next time.
Assuming I get myself a room, is anyone willing to tag along? I know it's still a long time 'till AC2010 and people may die, building could collapse, planes can crash, the pole ice will melt and flood coastal cities, tectonic plates could go bonkers and rape the shit out of the landscape, dormant volancos can become active, hurricanes may wipe a few cities off the face of the earth, meteors and comets can play snooker with out solar system and the sun may just tell us all to GTFO and go supernova for no reason other then to piss us off.
Okay, the last part is shit since the Sun doesn't have enough mass to go supernova but instead will turn into a red giant in about 5 billion years, burn all the planets around it (yes, Earth included) and finally collapse to become a white dwarf.
Either way.. Assuming you're an artist I really like, I may just have an interesting offer for you concerning the room's price. :p
And if not, you're still welcome to tag along. Of course, this is all still very hypothetically and assuming none of the events described above happen, something else will. Murphy's law, y'know?

Regarding AC... no guarantees if I can really pull it off, but I have my heart set on making it to AC in 2010... (especially since I've put in more than enough volunteer hours for a free membership)... ^^
As for AC, I hope you'll be able to go. It was quite fun and so totally worth it. :]
Are there any pictures of you there floating around? I may have bumped into you once or twice without even knowing it... (it was really easy to pick me out in the crowd, even though I don't have a fursuit... I was either dressed up in the same apparel as my fursona, or wearing a very similar wardrobe to a few of the characters from Nintendo's EarthBound series)...
And no, I can't really recall seeing you. Partly because I didn't knew you back then and didn't pay any attention, really.
Maybe next year I'll see you... just don't aim your camera at me lest you want to leave the Westin in a body bag. ^_^
...
Yeah, these are some places I've found so far where I've made a cameo appearance...

L0L... I failed... :oP
Perhaps next year you can teach me how to be more elusive... ;o)
*gleefully pats the 3 autographed ECMajor prints.
The way you signed them was so funny to see, like a little work of art on it's own. :D
My question is, did i do the little cloven hoofprint with the points facing toward the letters or away? I changed the way i do it ...at some point this summer, heh.
Because i didn't want it to be mistaken for a broken heart anymore >.<
It's kinda weird that I was the only one who asked to have the prints signed. I feel it gives a more personal touch to the art. I was also the one who got away with the print from the folio since you had run out of copies. :p
Anyways, You signed them with the point facing away from the letters. I never really thought of it as a broken heart until you mentioned it just now. And along with the hooves, making a key from the O was a very nice touch.
