Hello everyone!
I have estimates back regarding the La Brea figure: it looks like I can get the figures done either of two ways, for the same price!
1. Full color! Wow! This would be produced through China, painted like Michele's art. Probably in a run of about 100 or so, but no more than 200. I would need at least 20 preorders to do this. However, unless I get at least 35+ preorders, I can't get the matching mastodon toy done. It's too much extra to the price.
2. Blank white, produced in the USA. The run would probably only be about 50-100 pieces, but I would only need 6-10 orders to start.
The preorder fee will be $40 and the estimated price will be in the $55-65 range, which means an additional $15-25 once the shipment arrives. At this time, because of her shape and whether or not she will be in packaging, I'm not sure if I can offer free shipping or not. However, preorders will definitely receive some kind of shipping discount, at least, plus possible other bonuses. :)
Since I'd like these to be out before January, I have my preorder page open as of NOW! Let's get orders together and try to make a full-color figure happen! :) To get these in time for Further Confusion, I need to close preorders by October 31. The faster we hit our order goal, the faster the project can move ahead. IF they're out in time for FC, YES, I will be doing pickup in person so you can avoid shipping fees.
