Well, part of my true-to-myself-ness is making others happy and entertaining them. I'm not saying I want to try incorporating every single thing every single reader wants, but it's something I hadn't really thought about. I mean... am I using the whole "Tay is stupid" thing too much? Is McInTots now a one-trick pony? From the current arc and season 3 and on, there is a lot less Tay-picking and a LOT more emphasis on the twins' relationship, so I'm hoping to avoid that title.

There's nothing wrong with taking suggestions into consideration as long as you're doing it because you think it's a good idea. Tay being stupid isn't the story, that's his character. It influences how he reacts to what's going on. (Besides, you know I pay more attention to Izzy.) The comic has had a lot of different story lines since it started, you're certainly not a bad storyteller.

You can't please everyone, that's just not possible. If you let your story evolve you'll lose some readers who don't like the change, if you let it stay the same you'll lose others who'll get bored. And if you did canter to everybody's wish, you can be dead sure that some would call you a suck-up, and leave.

The best way is to keep the stories going so that you are happy with them. If you are, it'll show in the art and the stories, and most readers will love it.

To quote one of the greatest poets of our time: "You win some, lose some, it's all the same to me."

hehe, well... I certainly am only catering to myself in this current arc, and a lot of season 3, hehe... NO ONE has ANY CLUE what is about to happen...

No, nothing is wrong with McInTots, or any of the other comics. McInTots is still very entertaining. I like the fact that Tay is a bit "dumb" . Just don't overdo it... not saying you have.

Protostar Zero is awesome as well, though I would like to see more of Edo Tails.

So far, every comic you have in progress I like, and will continue to read as they come.

Well there will always be un-satisfied people among any network of fans but I don't really understand their complaint. I mean it's your story the chances of it staying on the direction they wanted is pretty much 0% unless you literally just took every idea they give you and crank it out on paper o.O

Oh well I still love 'em and Rex was a great addition to the group and Edo Tails is coming along great :3

Don't worry about it; as other people said, it's impossible to please everyone all the time. Besides; I love your storylines and your art - both serve to capture the childlike innocence in McInTots so perfectly! (And with your most recent comics in Edo Tails and ESPECIALLY Protostar Zero, it's obvious that happy and carefree isn't your only talent!) Don't let other people get you down; take their criticism to heart, but don't change what you do so well just because one person doesn't like it. Remember - for every person that thinks you've taken a wrong turn somewhere down the line, there's a hundred more waiting anxiously to see what happens next - I know I am! ^.^

The direction a story takes is about inspiration; it has nothing to do with "storytelling" which is a skill.
I don't have any qualms with either for you.
