great, now i get my laptop back to find out dell fucked up my mic to were it dusnt work now. i cant even get it to detect it at all. what do i do now? send it in again?... *sighs*i really hate my life now...

Other solution is buy new mic that you can plugin your laptop as it must have 1 input for mic and 1 input for headphone.
They might forgot to reput cable that is inside of it back or in case no cable they broke it by hitting something by accident.
