As I continue to work on a new animation (these take time)... I've been doing a quick pose and render with my existing models so far. Each time I've been testing out a new technique needed for the above project..

In this case in going to challenge myself to render something you suggest. Of course I'll attempt to pick the idea posted first, unless it's far too technical that it would take all weekend to complete. All other ideas welcome and I'll also do the second idea that is popular by votes or collective suggestions.

Since my weekends are often my only time to work on things... There is often a fair delay, but I am working on things when I can.

When I checked my pageviews today I'm at 9999. The 10,000th view likely already happened while I was writing this journal. Hmm, perhaps I can post something to celebrate, then schedule the whole prize thing for 15,000 - Current projects would push the start of any such reward till that time anyway.

Looks like project Mango: "Tears of Steel" Blender Foundation’s fourth short film project is coming along well. - They've released a teaser video that begins to show off some of the real composite effects blender is really capable of.. Looks like they're going live-action along with CG for this one.

Yes, I'm still here, working at a bit slower pace now, progress takes time .. I will complete what I start.

Got some troll comment that all I do are crappy 3D renders .. alright, fine then.. whats so crappy about them? .. /sigh

I suppose that "person" isn't going to justify their point of view and maybe also suggest to me how I might improve... Does anyone else at least have some helpful suggestions for how I can make things less crappy.

Spending 50 hours on something just to be told its all crap isn't very nice .. or helpful.. Fine then.

If anyone would like to see something, please ask - I'm always looking for a challege. The time to build the base form of one of these character models is a huge time investment of almost 50 hours of work .. comissions are not yet practical - but I will consider any unique designs that I've been given permission to work with. this is the best way for me to advance my skills, is to work with the widest variety as possible.

Its was rough, but its past for at least another year.. Time for things to return to a somewhat more normal routine. - I hosted and served dinner for the extended family, about 10 people.. what a chore for a single guy - but hey, at least I've got enough leftovers for the next few weeks, and enough cookies to last well into summer - I'm not a big eater myself, so I suspect I'll end up having to toss well over half of it. /sigh

Im hoping to have something to show for tomorrow - I've been trying a few ideas, but Lily seems intent in flaunting herself in every shot.. I think there might be something wrong with that Squee... I'm not certain this quite normal for her.

Note me any special requests and I'll see if I can pin her down.. or even perhaps even tie her up for a few good renders. - Even Phina is willing to help out. - I can match any pose reference that you might wish to see of them.

I was going to post something new for Christmas today, but things are not quite ready.. Perhaps before the new year.

Poor Lily seems to have had a few too many sweets.. too much sugar causes her to become quite drunk and very openly 'frisky' to anyone that wants to pay her any bit of attention. Perhaps its a Squee thing, but Phina is already taking pictures, Hopefully none of them are too embarrasing.

About the Uncanny Valley, I fully intend to stay on this side- keeping with non-photoreal characters, but also using photoreal environment and lighting.

I've seen a few of these lists pass my message box.. I've donated financially where I could to some, as for myself I suppose I'll be honest.

Perhaps the highest wish I could desire would be for a girl/friend - somone to share with, or at least simply honestly and openly talk to at a bit deeper level. - All my female friends seem to have a relationship already - or out of contact, that I rarely hear from them.

This year as I left 29 and just turned 30, after working so hard to achieve all that I needed: a well paying career, a house, two vehicles and all the other toys that go with it, all on my own.. Its this time of year that all that I have seems to have so little value, When I see so many only a few years younger than me already with a relationship status, it makes me wonder if perhaps I've simply had my priorities backward. It would be so nice to actually have someone to get a special gift for... although I try to help others where I can.

..I'm fine - honestly, just a bit lonely. - Note me if interested. or know somone, that truly needs a just a bit of extra help this time of year, I'd love to know about it. - All levels of friendship gratefully welcomed.

Athough Its been a few weeks since I've last posted anything, and I've yet to actually start on my next model (Pose-able this time). This is because of a large programming project I'm involved in thats finally Almost complete.

I want to post something to keep my gallery alive, any requests? I tried manually posing Phina with a vertex selections, pivit points and falloff brushes and it turned out kina neat, wow her cute factor really jumps when she's posed.

Does anyone actually want to see this half baked, proof of concept work? - or should I just sit quiet for a few more weeks, finish my project then create something really new.

Show me a pose you want to see with Phina or Lily and I'll render it out for tomorrow.

Once I have completed a few other projects, who should I work on next?

I've been working on a couple of new 3D Character Models. Still much work to do as these are only the start.

Heh, I don't have a clue really. I'm figureing on not botherin to post any more adult / nude works, I"d perfer not to be known for cheap pr0n .. I'd much rather try a variety of things.

I'm not even sure who is looking at this stuff, or why.

As I browse the art works from the main page I notice many patterns that make almost too much sense.. I see many small communities of known artists and online friends that follow specific genres. These groups, compliment, support and critique eachothers work in ways that I have no idea how to join or even get the attention of, even if I wanted to learn something new from them.

Ah, well, Thats just the ways of any community or group. invite only I suppose. I'll post I few more things as I complete them, Perhaps somone will bother to look here and perhaps let me know what I need to be doing.

Erkay, seems my only pics tha get faves (or even views) are the adult content. /sigh, well, If thats what you want... Anyhow.

I think I'm going to work at coloring some of these, hopefully draw a bit more attention. (Perhaps even some comments)

As these pics are only pencil sketches, they will look at whole lot different once completed.
