Well, all of this started July 2021. I was working in my back yard with my twin boys, who were 4 at the time. I backed up over my son, Avery. I realized I was going to land on him when I fell and landed directly on my left hip, in an effort to avoid hitting him. After a few days, I didn't really think much of it, was just sore. But after a week, I started to have sharp pains when I walked....and that was the start of it all. I spent 3 years fighting the military doctors, old doctors who refused to believe me, and so on. Hours and hours of therapy, shots, shock test. You name it, I did it. Then, we decided to make our case to the military to get out on hardship. It had gotten to the point that I could not walk anymore. When we submitted our case, I really did not think it was gonna be approved, but then, it was!! We got out as fast as we could and went to Maryland where we were told the best doctors in the US were. After settling in, 1 week later, I was scheduled for a surgery to fix my torn labrum. It worked at first, but then it started to hurt again. So 2024, I finally demanded a hip replacement and got it! Now I am pain free in the left hip and am getting back to life as much as I can. I expect to have a right hip surgery at some point, but not until the US gets it's act together. So, that's the story. Hope you all are well and thank you for being here with me again! I appreciate you all. <3
