Sorry I've been off the radar for so long. I've been working on the
Luvbites launch, school, and some family issues that I don't really wanna talk about and it's been consuming a lot of my time. I apologise to everyone who's got a commission from me, and has been waiting AAAAGES. I feel super awful, and as such, I WILL BE BOTH REFUNDING, AND DRAWING EVERYONE WHO HAS COMMISSIONED ME. <33
So, Paragon HFS+ has completely corrupt my MacBook, and thus my little spreadsheet is gone.
Time to rebuild! <3

As an artist, I remember being new to the fandom, and having the daunting prospect of learning to draw anthros, and I think we can all agree
that it's pretty hard when you're getting into it. I know it was for me.
So if you could head over and supper n64 along with me, you'd be not only supporting an artist, and helping him to flourish as an artist,
you're also getting your own little piece of it.

How to not suck at BGs.

When you are drawing a picture, and feel the overpowering need to add in something
'pop culture' and 'hip' into your picture, or even another piece of fully rendered art into your composition
to act as a background object..
DO NOT WARP-TOOL IT, AND MAKE IT BRIGHTER, AND MORE DETAILED THAN YOUR COMPOSITION.
I've been seeing it a lot more lately, and it's really been irking me. Like, if you NEED to put another picture you drew into the background, or decoration, or whatever, DON'T make it more detailed than the rest of the image.
Our eyes are drawn to light, and well illuminated places when we draw. It's how the human brain works. Light, and faces, that shit's like crack to us.
But when you add in a full rendered piece, and warp-tool it to fit in your picture, most of you forget to do things like add some blur, or apply realistic lighting.
It's also /extremely/ easy to derail it and make your image seem like it's begging for views by leeching onto an existing intellectual property if you use like say, an MLP poster, or video game items/posters.
Obviously if you're poured hours into another picture, then import it into your WIP, the fully rendered, properly shaded, /bright/ imported picture will draw the eyes a lot more.
Just, be careful about what you import, and how you go about it.
