I’ve tried to add in everything I thought was necessary, but I’m sure you guys could think of some more stuff! If you're interested in Wolf and his pokemon, there's just the one channel for that at the moment but it may expand!

If you saw the artist comments on my latest upload (Rally Flag ref sheet), you'll recall that I was actually a bit unhappy with everything I've written up until this point due to criticism. It wasn't hateful stuff, but actual honest criticism that showed me flaws that no one had actually pointed out until then. As a result, I started to feel like I'd wasted all my time writing up until this point, which is obviously not a good place to be. This had a couple of main consequences, neither of which was me quitting writing altogether so you can start breathing again.

First of all, I decided to restart all of my Rally Flag EQG writing. It's going to be more or less the same story idea (forbidden love between student and principal), but just them instead of the accidental branching out into other girls thing that wasn't supposed to happen in the first place.

Secondly, and this will likely be the most important thing for most of you. While I can feel comfortable restarting Rally Flag as he doesn't feel like he's as far in, I can't say the same thing for Wolf's Series. As much as I know I'm going to be disappointing most of you with this, I just can't see myself returning to finish Wolf's Series.

Why? I've been thinking about this lately, and I think the honest problem I have is that the story line started to go off into this amazing, epic saga that was just not what I wanted to write about. Everything sounds great in my head, but it's become this whole thing that is well and truly NOT what I wanted to do when I started - write about a trainer and his pokemon having a relationship (remember that whole 'forbidden love' thing I mentioned earlier?). Overall I feel like the stuff I want to write is about the relationships characters have with one another, and chapters like the last three for Wolf's Hunt are the kinda thing that works for me. We had Wolf and Flannery grow closer to one another, Lucky and Kai get at each other's throats and a chapter that highlighted how Wolf's pokemon felt about him. These are fun, and a whole daemon lord hell bent on destroying everything thing feels like it's derailing that too much. It's also why I've kinda fallen off writing about pony Rally as well, in that I had an idea to include a whole epic war part to the story and the only stuff that got written for him was flashback stuff involving him and Celestia.

This doesn't mean Wolf and his pokemon are being retired permanently, just that I likely won't be finishing the writing for Wolf's Hunt. You guys won't be left wondering what happened though, as I'll most likely commission some pictures for some pivotal moments and explain what was going to happen with them. At least you'll be getting something more than me just telling you what was going to happen and dropping it.

I might find some inspiration to do fun stuff for them in the future. Right now I just need to get one thing in order at a time, and due to my still current inspiration and the fact that most of everything I've commissioned for quite some time was EQG related that one thing will be Rally Flag.

Apologies to everyone who was following me for the story, I'm honestly disappointed that I couldn't finish it for you guys.

I just wanted to let you know that I'm actually having some doubts about something. Gonna wait a few days before I actually say anything more though, both to give myself time to be sure and to make sure no one thinks it's got anything to do with April 1st.

Well, that's half true. I'll leave it to your imagination to determine which half that is.

Short story is that I'm still around, just haven't posted anything here. Everything that I've written for some time has gone on tumblr, where I've been active. On top of that, the vast majority of my writing has been related to My Little Pony/Equestria Girls, which has taken up the majority of my creative drive. I was hopeful that ORAS would reboot my inspiration for Wolf's Series, but sadly that hasn't been the case.

Have I given up on Wolf, or pokemon? The answer is no, just that I haven't had the drive to write anything for the story for a while. Possibly I've thought too far ahead, I have the path in mind and I know what the end game is, but it's stuck in my head and steadfastly refuses to come out. Team Fortress 2 has not helped this at all.

I think some time over the next week I'm going to bring all of my tumblr writing onto here too, into three main submissions:
- Pokemon related
- My Little Pony related
- Equestria Girls related

That way you guys at least get something. At least those of you who are actually following me for the stories, as I have a hard time believing all six hundred and eighteen of you are.

'This my birthday today, and I am 26 years old. For some reason I am awake at 3:50am though I assume this has to do with my job messing up my sleep patterns. At any rate, I have the day off so it's all good.

As for why I haven't done anything on here for so long... well, muses are fickle as I'm sure you all know. Mine got driven towards MLP (both ponies and Equestria Girls) which resulted in a whole bunch of drabbles on tumblr and not much work on anything else. I just want you guys to know I haven't given up on Wolf's Series, just that I haven't had my motivation pointed in that particular direction. I do want to apologise for that, since I know most of you won't give a proverbial flying one about MLP (or are bots).

Anywho, what's going on with you guys?

There's been a fair few new watchers lately, and I can't help but notice that it started after I posted the Route 119 picture as well as when DarkMirage posted his set picture linking to it. All you new watchers know that I'm a writer, right? 'cause if you're here for the art then I'd very much suggest you stop watching me. This isn't to sound ungrateful, but artwork on here is few and far between, and for the most part not done by me. Just trying to keep my clutter out of your inbox if you're not gonna read, is all.

Anywho, about that move to Weasyl. I still haven't really made my mind up about it, but today I kinda realised that I'm also likely to feel lazy about moving and such. That is to say, with all my stuff posted here I'm prone to just go 'bugger it' and not bother moving. Which is kind of annoying, as I've still yet to see anything really positive come from FA's admins and I wouldn't mind a fresh start. Come the 1st of January I'm gonna decide it one way or the other, to either be lazy and stay or to bite the bullet and start using Weasyl for my main posting.

It just occurred to me that I was supposed to be doing a Soul Silver nuzlocke. I think it's safe to assume that idea is dead, mostly because it runs annoyingly slow on my old and in need of replacing laptop.

Feel like I should be mentioning something else here, but I can't remember what it was. Ah well, I'm sure it wasn't important since all the important stuff was covered above.

Let's start with the good part, since it's Christmas eve here in Australia for only about four more hours. So I'd like to wish all of you reading this a merry Christmas/happy whatever holiday you might celebrate at this time of year, and a happy new year for the forthcoming 2014!

So, 2013... I don't know whether or not it was particularly good for me. For Wolf's Series it was a whole lot slower than I would have liked, although I think I still did more than I did in 2012. That's not to say that I haven't been doing any writing at all... it's just that most of it was MLP related and went onto Tumblr. There's Pokemon stuff on there too, but it seems like my pony muse has been far more active (even more so with the addition of Equestria Girls). Overall I've probably done more writing, but unfortunately it's been at the expense of my original series. It's a little disappointing, as I really wanted to have the Unova part of the story finished before 6th gen hit so that I could go into that.

Personally, I haven't accomplished anything noteworthy this year. Or at least I don't feel like I have. I keep thinking back to my high school years and how I could've done things differently which would make my current situation better, but that's hindsight for you. I'm not even remotely sure what I want to do with life at this point, only that I want to be doing something that doesn't feel like work at all and doesn't involve customers. Admittedly I'm kinda hoping for a J.K. Rowling type moment where a character and inspiration just wander into my head one day and I can write something amazing. (Some people have mentioned it to me previously, but I would never feel comfortable publishing anything like Wolf's Series)

Well I guess I'm gonna have to try and make 2014 a much better year, one step at a time. No resolutions though, because like most people I'd probably forget about them before the first month is over.

Enough about me, what about you guys? How was 2013 for you all?

Yeah, it's fine to say that maintenance is a must, and that sometimes things might take a bit longer than we would like, but I'm starting to get sick of this website either way. I'm yet to see anything positive from the mods, plus the site itself doesn't seem to be going forward.

Before you go panic saving anything in my gallery, it's not going anywhere. I'd still be using FA, but primarily as a means of communication rather than as a gallery. The stuff that's already there will stay, but updates won't be posted here.

This isn't 100% confirmed as me definitely leaving or anything. I'll give it a bit longer, see how I feel possibly some time into the new year.

I turned on my laptop today... and everything was back. As though I hadn't even turned it on yesterday. None of the stuff I was panic-saving/trying to get from others was there. But everything I had before was still there.

So at the moment I'm really just coming down with a huge case of WTF-itis. I really can't explain any of how it happened, just that it did. So, yeah. Disregard the previous journal, the random problem sorted itself out.

I woke up this morning to find that all of my data on my laptop is gone.

If nothing else, at least all of my stories are still on here so I can get them back. Just means that the chapter I was working on I'll have to restart completely. Most of my commissioned pieces were saved on my phone as well, so I can get them back too if they're not on here or another site.

Really don't know why it happened, or why it should happen to me of all people.

This has been one of those things that I see a lot of, but I don't really get it. Can anyone give me a quick explanation on them?

Does anyone else have issues deciding what they want for their birthday?

Mine's coming up one the 7th, and in theory I was supposed to have a wish list at least a month ago. But I honestly can't think of anything that I want for my birthday. I've already got Pokemon X pre ordered (don't really want to double up and ask for Y), then anything else I'm interested in doesn't come out until after the 7th (actually, the only other thing I want is Legendary Collection 4: Joey's World).

I dunno. This is probably one of those first world problem things here, but I'm not really complaining. Just keep getting asked for gift ideas from family, and I can't come up with anything. It's a little frustrating, to be honest.

Whatever happened to the days of being a kid and knowing what you want for your birthday?

I've been wondering this for a little while now.

Most of the people who have talked to me on here or other places tend to demonstrate good knowledge of my stories, which makes me happy because it means they took the time to read them. But being watched by over 400 people and only having less than fifty who seem to show any kind of interest in my stories makes me wonder just how many of those watches are wasted.

Recently, I got a shout saying that someone who recently watched me loves my art. This confuses me actually, for the following reason:

Are you saying that you love my art?
Or are you saying that you love the art I had commissioned?

Because, y'know, if you're just after the commissioned stuff you should go watch the artist who drew it instead. My art, as I've demonstrated above, is terrible. Plus I would like to think that the people who are watching me are here because they like my stories.

See, this is why I don't like to post commissioned images. It seems to make people put credit in the wrong places.

I'm wanting to get a picture of Wolf's parents, so they've gotta be okay with humans too. I don't think I have anything else to add about it here, just figured I'd see if anyone knew someone good.
