I've tried updating my Display name several times now and it isn't changing, yet when I go into my settings it has saved as the changed one... Anyone know why its not working or if there's something else I should do?

I really dislike how many artists use submissions to announce their streams. I get about 100 new submissions a day to view, and a good 20% tend to be 'Stream Online' or 'Streaming', and it is really annoying and causes a lot of clutter. Why can't artists just post journals? There's a specific option to delete all stream notifications, so I can just use that. Alternatively, why isn't this option also in the submissions, since it's such a major plague there too?

So I wanna make some 'twins', one artic hare, and one artic fox, which have a sorta turqoise/cyan hair colour, and really cute freckles. In a zootopia style maybe.

I also wanna make a hermaphrodite chakat of some kind, not sure which big cat breed though. They will have a knot though, or a horsecock. :3

Okay, so buttons seem FAR too big and really need to have outlines on the new Beta layout, also have the Remove selected and select all buttons swapped around again?

Other layout changes seem okay, but will take some getting used to.

As for the banner, who're the lucky people who got chosen to be in that? Or was there soem competition or something? Pretty sure I recognise one or two, like Pulsar. Or are these all not real fursonas, but based on real ones?

It's my birthday on thursday, 3rd March! Even though 21 isn't really a big deal here in UK, I still feel like I should be doing something to celebrate! As it looks, I'll just be having a quiet meal with my family (which I have nothing against, of course) and the rest will just be a lazy day at home (which is most days for me anyway lately!)

Anyone have any ideas for things I could do? Or should I even do anything at all? What do you guys usual do for birthdays? And what did you do for your 21st, or want to do when you're 21?

I see soooo many people with like big lists of all their friends on here on their profiles, and like, commenting on artwork and havin cute little conversations and stuff with people they know. And I'm just sitting here like... Lonely, browsing arts n stuff.
Like, how do you even make friends on here, since the only real method of communication is commenting on art and journals? Am I missing something? Do most people know each other from different places and if so, where?
Is it just my social anxiety that makes it seem harder to meet new people and make friends or am I missing something?

This is a pretty pointless rant. In many ways it's purely for my own benefit, to remind me x3

I seem to be in the low percentile of furries whose fursona doesn't have different coloured eyes. Like it's pretty and everything but isn't a fursona in some way supposed to be a reflection of yourself? Fair enough I don't have pink hair or eyes IRL so I may be being slightly hypocritical here, but there seems to be a rather large cliche of having Heterochromia in the furry community.

I'm not trying to have a go at anyone, it's your choice at the end of the day, and my opinion should be of no impact on that, I just find it kinda silly is all.

Anyway, rant over, I'm going to go back to being a nobody on the outside of this community.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh I wish I had cool artist friends whom I could regularly commission and they'd know exactly what things I like and how I like them (not that I don't love the art I've commissioned or been gifted before, I do and I would love to commission those artists and others again) or just non-artsy friends who could be in joint commissions with me and we could all have fun and play games together and RP and stuff...

I don't like being on the outside of the furry community, it's no fun.

Sooo, I'm still relatively new here and I just wanted to say so far I love this community (or collection of many mini communities if you see it like that)! I'd love to meet some new people and generally get to know other furries more as I only know a couple properly!

Everyone is always free to send me notes or shouts or comments on my stuff! I'm kinda shy with new people so keep that in mind, and if I try to get to know you first, please go easy on me because my anxiety makes it very difficult for me to talk to people I don't know!
