It's been...a LONG time since I've been active on FA, especially on this account. So the question I have for anyone who takes the time to read this journal and reply is...what would you like to see most from me if I were to try and make myself be creative again.

Sometime soon I'll be moving most of my art and stories to Scraps, some things might even get deleted. Save stuff now just in case it's gone soon.
Not sure how much longer I'll keep updating this account honestly...I just don't find the joy in drawing and writing like I used to. Haven't for a few years now.

Most of my new art gets posted to my Maned Wolf account nowadays, so that one will probably become my main account at some point.

It's occurred to me that I have over a dozen unposted stories, some going as far back as 2016...wow!

I type this right now, hating having to do so, but knowing it's better to let you all know what to expect of me in the future...or lack there of.

I have a lot of pieces of art I've never finished, a few stories as well. Many of them are simply pieces I wanted to do for myself, some are for others. I'm writing this journal to let you know that I'll be trying hard to get all these unfinished pieces of art and stories finished...but also...that once they're done and posted...that's it. At least for the foreseeable future. The joy and motivation and eagerness I once had when it came to drawing and writing is all but gone. Forcing myself to finish these remaining WIPs will probably burn me out of little motivation is left...but it's already almost gone, so might as well put it to use while I have even a speck left. I'm sorry to all my long time followers, and to those who just started following me, and to all my friends especially. I appreciate everyone who felt anything I drew or wrote about was worthy of you taking the time to follow me and go thru my gallery.

I'm going to try and get all my WIP art and unfinished stories done by New Years, so I can start off 2021 with a fresh start, and without having to worry about having a backlog of stuff to finish when I don't even enjoy doing it anymore. I just have more important stuff in my life that I need to start concentrating on, and giving up drawing and writing, at least for a while, will help to elevate some of that unending stress.

Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, and I'm very sorry to have to write out this journal, but I felt it better to give everyone some warning of what to expect than to spring it on everyone in the end.

I've got...several pieces of art which I need to finish, hopefully sooner than later. Found some stories that I MAY not have uploaded yet...I'll have to check and see.
Once the stories (if they are unposted) get proof read then I'll upload them here. Same goes for all my unfinished/unposted artwork. Art will get posted either here or to my Maned Wolf account (link is on my home page) depending on what the art is of.

Motivation is my main obstacle to overcome...that and physical pain. Sometimes I can just sit down and literally force myself to draw or write, but typically the quality suffers...and it shows. And while I may not be anywhere near the best at art or writing, both take me a long time, so I want whatever I dedicate all the time to, to come out at least partially decent. To the best of my abilities anyways.

As for the future of my art and stories...not looking so good. One reason it takes me so long to finish art is due to the inability to draw without severe pain flaring up in my hand/wrist, accompanied with painful numbness in the fingers, which only seems to be increasing over time. Not going to get into all the medical stuff, this update is supposed to be quick. Point is, eventually the pain will get to the point where it'll hurt to even hold a pencil or stylus, so...art days are looking numbered. As for writing...I'm just not motivated like I used to be. Plus, I'm unable to enjoy my own stories like others enjoy mine, or I enjoy theirs. I'd rather commission someone else to write down my ideas so I can actually enjoy them myself. So...stories will probably continue like normal...either few and far between, or an upload of several all at once because I'm too lazy to post them as they're finished. At least until all motivation to write completely goes away.

I guess that's about it...other than the come and go depression I'm sure almost everyone now a days are feeling with this Pandemic shit and not being able to travel and visit those you want to, safely.

I'd like to that next year will be better, but...realistically...highly doubt the majority of it will be.

For those of you who have been in the furry community for a long...long time now...like me, you might recognize the name I'm about to mention...

Kllauw

He was one of the first furry authors I discovered when I first started searching the web years ago for furry...anything, back when I still had dial-up. Kllauw and Afril/Swamprat were the two furry authors that I would have to say played a major role in why I write stories to this day, and even began to do so in the first place. Their multitude of stories inspired me to start writing my own stuff, many years ago, and to this day their stories still inspire me.

Unfortunately, I found out just last night that Kllauw passed away back in October. I'd be lying if I didn't have an emotional meltdown after finding that out. It'd been a long time since I've cried that hard, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. For years I had hoped Kllauw would post his stories back online somewhere for everyone to read once again, as they were posted on a site called Furnation many years ago, and have since been lost to time for most folks, I'm sure. I still have all the stories I both found publicly posted and all the ones he shared with me privately via email. I'm hoping his mate will someday post them, because I think that's what Kllauw would have liked - to not have all his hard work and amazing stories be forgotten after what feels like only a few short years.

So for all those who either knew Kllauw or at least knew of him...I'm sorry to have brought you this sad news, but I feel those who were either just fans of his works or were perhaps even inspired by him, should know what happened. For those of you who wish to know more about what happened to Kllauw, please go read a journal left by his partner of 27 years, Marcwolf.

So...after re-reading the final interactions between myself and someone I once called a friends (FA notes from several years ago), I've come to think that maybe he was right to some extent.

There are MANY of you who watch me on here, follow me on Twitter, or chat with me on Telegram. Most of you I've either never talked to or have rarely ever talked to, but some of you I've talked to on almost a daily basis for a long time now. Which is why I think my ex-friend might have been semi-right in saying that I'm too emotionally needy towards some folks.

So...I'm going to try and tone down how often I pester folks, and instead sit back and wait to see who comes and talks to me instead. I think that might be best as it'll give folks who I bother too often a break from me annoying them, even if they don't want to say it directly to me.

So yeah, if I seem more quiet than usual to some folks on Telegram then that's why.

Given how inactive I've been on FA for so long, probably a good while.

Feeling a bit better - still keep getting additional bad news thrown at me almost daily it feels like - but at least some things are looking up.

Got a new part time job, nothing special, nor is the pay...but at least it's something and not nothing. Also walking about 6 of the 8 hours out of my shift right now so getting PLENTY of exercise right now. I'm am absolutely exhausted.

Again, most of the necklace commissions are finished, just a few left to do (like 3 I think), and then I'll post them all at once. Not gonna have the energy to work on them until after this weekend though - taking most of my remaining energy just to finish this journal...so many spelling errors while typing this. x3x

I'm going to be completely honest in this journal.

For those who don't yet know, I've been out of work on disability since last October, which is going to run out next month. I was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and hospitalized for 9 days. In February I had an internal defibrillator surgically put in me, which I'm technically still healing from.

Because of all that, my current employer wont let me come back to work until next year, and the part time job I found sounds like they wont be working me as many hours as I hoped. On top of that all my medical bills have yet to come in but the "small" ones that have come in have been ridiculous.

I've been trying everything I can to put on a happy face, grin and push through it all. But it's all just starting to become too much to constantly grin and bear it. So...once I get all my current art commissions finished...I'm just gonna be more AFK for a while. Being social with everyone just isnt helping either. I love you all and ask that you not worry too much about me. I'm sure I'll be fine...in time. I hope.

BEFORE ASKING FOR ONE - Prices won't be quoted until after the rough draft of each story, as it may turn out to be longer or more complex than originally anticipated. This also means I won't ask for payment until AFTER the rough draft has been approved. I'm asking for a bit of trust on this too from you all, since you'll get to read the story before paying for it technically.
