things are tough- i can't do this
Posted 8 years agoThese past 2 months have been beating me down hard and im really unsure of what to do. It seems like everytime i get ahead for a moment im knocked 2 steps back. Money is all but non-existent despite me working damn near everyday for 60 days straight. I just feel like im at my absolute limit in terms of what i can do. I can't sleep cause im too stressed, and then when i fall asleep , im out for way too long because im depressed-
It's like a never ending cycle - this time i just dont think im gonna make it.
I'm $1000 out from bills alone despite working till i fall asleep at my desk , much for less ANYTHING else like food or "christmas stuff"
I hate how i feel like killing myself is the easiest option , it's made getting things done extremely difficult .
please forgive me for sounding off or quiet in streams , it's just because I don't wanna be alive, much less working for the 15th day in a row..

small vent/ update
Posted 8 years agoWith things slowly calming way back down im getting work back in order again , these past few weeks have been extremely difficult for me so I thank you all for you understanding .
currently I'm just horribly frustrated by so many things I've been a scatter shot when it comes to paying attention , feeling "good", or just getting up. Everything else paired with the holidays and literally everyone i know's birthday I feel like im being spread really thin when it comes to my mental health.
On top of all that, I got approved to be the new home of a lovely parrot , whom ive named Rakan, from a rescue i applied to a while back. I've been visiting him for around 3 weeks , every few days, and we've grown really really close. Today just absolutely broke my heart having him step out of his cage directly on to me , and then at the end of our "bonding time" him screaming for me after i put him back and started to leave. These next few weeks are gonna be really hard as well since I wont be able to visit him after the 7th because they'll be short staffed . God i wish I had enough to pay off his vet and adoption bill all in one go //
so im just in a "meh" place :<

I don't know how tings will go/ are going , but it's been making it hard for me to focus on work , or even care about work, because of that ive kinda fallen short of a few things.
I'm sorry, i want nothing more than to turn off these feelings but it's heavily impacting my mood/ability to work.
Please forgive me, i'll be trying my best to get back to normal asap.

I will be auctioning off three "slots" here, all of them being latter slots that will occur though the week.
the time is based off of time SPENT WORKING , if i take a 30 min break, that wont come out of your time.
Any species is allowed, but if you feel like you haven't ever seen me draw the species you have in mind, please feel free to show me and ask!
What can I get?
Anything, anything you want, but you've only got the time you win in the auction- so if you get the full 6 hours and want a single character full color picture, i will spend all that time working to get that for you. If you want a whole bunch of sketches, we'll do as much time as you've got doing sketches. If you want 2 colored sketches and rough sketches, we'll spend the time you get to do that!

before the inevitable "they're a lot to handle" or "not a good beginner bird" i've currently got a GCC and have had birds damn near my whole life, this is just the first large bird i've looked into that would work with my lifestyle. :>

Posted 8 years agoCurrently making plans over the next few months to replace our current tempurpedic because I haven't gotten a single good night's sleep in a year, my pressure points get cut off and I wake up over and over with a dead arm because i always end up sleeping on my side and the bed just lets me fucking sink to oblivion because it's old AF.
If anyone has a purple I'd love to hear your opinions on it, or if you have a suggestion for any mattresses in general I'd appreciate it.

Posted 8 years agoI've been extremely busy recently so I'm sorry for the silence!
Currently we're preparing for the "tropical depression " that'll be hitting us this weekend, due to this I'm not only a tad behind on sending out completed files, but I'm also a tad behind on finishing work. I hope this is understandable and forgivable.
I'm extremely worried about our fish tanks, as many of you know my husband and I are avid aquarium hobbyists and we've got roughly 6 tanks ranging from 10 gals to 120gals that we need to prepare a plan for in the event of a prolonged power outage. The 120 gal will be ok the longest (due to the fact that larger volumes of water take much longer to cool down than small ones) but the saltwater tank and the nanos are a big concern, a temp shift in them could mean a lot of deaths and out apartment complexs power goes in and out on small storms, much less large ones.
I wish I had more time to plan so that I could have had the money to buy 2 battery back ups but there's simply no way for me to go about doing that on such short notice. Hopefully there are no losses, and if there are any it's minimal:(
