Recently, I’ve been given a lot of shit for my enlistment from people who, let’s just say don’t like it.

Firstly, I respect your opinion and there are certainly valuable criticisms to be made. But let’s get one thing straight. Just because I enlist in something DOES NOT MEAN I endorse any wrongdoings carried out by it. My beliefs and opinions HAVE NOT CHANGED despite being in uniform. I still very much support most of the causes that we furries support and it pains me to state the obvious.

Second, there is a very good reason I chose to enlist; back when I worked in a warehouse job, the Russian Invasion of Ukraine (2022) happened and 4 of my coworkers still had family living there. They left their relatively comfortable lives to go to an ACTIVE WAR ZONE to stop a bunch of Goose-Stepping thugs from invading more territory. I was moved by this and driven to enlist in the US National Guard. So it’s a little ironic, that some folks here would put the US and me on par with a group of Authoritarians. I don’t really know how people draw the comparison. And for those in Russia, know that I FIRMLY believe that not everyone there is inherently evil. Those that are willing to commit atrocities without remorse however, will not be tolerated both my me and the eyes of the world.

I know not everyone will think this and some might even go the whole negative route, but I just want people to understand my position before making an incorrect assumption about me.

Some of you may already know, and others may not, but I’ll be leaving shortly for Army bootcamp soon starting May 1, 2023 and want to say goodbye to all my friends and mutuals. I won’t lie, this is probably the scariest thing I’ve done in my entire life and I know some good friends of mine tried talking me out of it, but I thought about doing this for awhile. It’s going to be rough not seeing or hearing about what everybody’s up to and I certainly will miss you all. I only ask a small favor from those who know to think about me while I’m away in whatever way you see fit to. If things go the way they’re supposed to, I will see you all again sometime after December 5, 2023. I’m going to give it my best shot so wish me luck if you can. Been going on 9 months since COVID-19 hit my area and pretty much ended the whole convention scene for the duration of the year. So I saw this as an opportunity to get a second job to make ends meet (had it for almost 6 months now) and start looking into finally commissioning a suit maker to make my sona a reality. As of right now, I'm about 384 dollars away from making that a reality.

I'm hoping that I can get it accepted, then it will make this dumpster fire of a year almost worth it.

So I know I haven't taken up artwork in awhile, but when I get to the point where I feel more comfortable with it again, I'd like to take up traditional badge art commissions.

But I've thought of changing the price, I was currently thinking of charging $30-$35 USD.

Tomorrow, I will be starting my first day at college.

For those who are curious as to what I plan to go to college for is so I can hopefully get the credentials needed to one day become a police officer, but I don't want to stop there. I'm doing this at least so I have a fallback plan.

You see, my dream job is to one day become a Federal Agent. But the problem is that it will cost pretty penny to go to a college that offers the necessary degrees for me.

So my plan is once I have the credentials from the tech school I'm going to, I plan to join the service some time afterwards. I thought about joining either the Navy or the Marine Corps, do some service, then use that to pay for a University.

During my time in tech college though, I will need to do the following stuff for not only the service, but for other things I want to do in the furry fandom:

- Get off prescribed Medication
- Exercise so I can be prepared for whatever branch I choose to serve in
- Eat better foods and less junk food
- Draw some more
- Learn to improve on photography

I think the only progress I've made so far was the meds part. But we shall see.

The title speaks for itself.

For the past few months I've been trying to find all the stories from this artist's page that used to be there before they deleted them on their page. I've asked to see if there might be chance to see if they have them stored somewhere for the past few months because the day they gave everyone a notice, I was in an area with no network.

Since then, I've been trying to contact every person who has either commissioned them for the stories or commissioned as a whole but none seem to have the submission's descriptions. Just the images themselves.

So instead of trying to contact every single individual, I thought it would be better to ask the source directly. They tried looking for it and they couldn't find it. Now I've been looking for a good few months now, but my last note I got from them was either sarcastic in the sense where they used a phrase I was using in the last note I had sent them, or being sincere about how they felt, but I'd be lying if I said that my feelings weren't a little hurt.

I didn't mean any harm, I didn't think I was hurting anybody, and I certainly don't want the artist to close up shop just because I wasn't able to save all the descriptions and art submissions themselves and I don't want people to go and harass the artist in question, which is why I didn't mention the artist's name.

And if the artist does see this, I wanted to say that I'm sorry for my inconsiderate behavior and I in no intention meant to hurt you. I wouldn't be surprised if you never allowed me to commission you for anything ever again.

So I missed out on trying to obtain files of some of 's story files along with text. So if anyone can help me find those and send them to me, it would be much appreciated.

I'm missing the vacweb spider stories with the text from the description, Origin Comic Book story along with the descriptions for each entry, and Encore, also with submissions and their descriptions. So if anyone has copies, please let me know please and thank you.

So an artist I thought about commissioning for a future story cover has currently only been available for in-stream commissions. However they don't wish to choose the person who wishes to commission them. Understandable, so there's usually a raffle system or something that can be used to determine who wishes to receive it.

Now bear in mind, this story I had written was 2 years ago but if I lose the raffle or the drawing, I might be discouraged but I'm not going to try and bully another person into giving up their chance just because they had the fear of not getting picked.

I could care less if I won a raffle or not, but I don't quite appreciate it when someone basically tells me to "back off" in a whisper on a Picarto stream when I've also waited patiently, and if I need to I will continue to wait patiently for a chance like a good sport does.

The best part is even after the incident the person got their name picked anyways. Not because they rigged it, but because they got closest to the correct number picked between 1-10.

Just because you had a bad day SHOULD NOT mean you get priority, people have bad days and good days; some never have good days and some never have bad days. No guilt tripping is going to help your case, if a raffle is put in place it's so that others may have a chance to receive art from the person if they have not had the chance to yet.

And if the person I'm referring to sees this, you know who you are. Just please, don't do it again. It gives everyone the wrong message.

This person I know has been having it rough lately, but he's got me worried about him. He writes about wanting a gun to shoot him and I'm worried that he's contemplating suicide. I don't know what to do or how to help him, but I don't want him to hurt himself or kill himself for that matter.
