Whew... first of all, big apologies for the art spam I just dropped. It’s been nearly four years of material I’ve been collecting, and I finally managed to pull it out of my head and give it a proper home.

The reason? I don’t have a computer to upload art the way I’d like. So I depend on long… very long stretches of free time to focus on this.

As I mentioned in my old journal (yep, it’s been years…), my activity on FA has slowed down a lot. It’s hard to keep up without a computer, and mobile devices just aren’t comfortable for me when it comes to managing art.

whew... almost a year and half since the last time i uploaded something here. I feel so ashamed for practially abandon FA for a good while, but hey! it wasnt due a bad reason. I got way too busy with other stuff and moved all activity and feed around TWITTER. Its so much easy to use and follow people there.

Just a couple of days before i go to my second furry convention and again its gonna be Confuror at Guadalajara City in México country. Im really impressed on the hype for this con, theres so many cool artists and people joining with their on panels and seriously, i wasnt expecting this con to get that BIG. Theres even lots of furry fellows outside from México visiting just for fun, which is really cool. Im just suprised with the staff who managed to do a great job helding this.

Yep. Im hyped.

Feliz día de muertos and happy halloween everyone!! whatever tradition you guys love to celebrate, have tons of fun with your family and friends. In my case, im setting up my "altar de muertos" to give a warm welcome for my dearests ones that passed away: Grandparents, uncles, Aunts and my pets. Glorious september and filled with big celebrations all around México since we celebrate "El grito de la independencia" anniversary. Expect lots of tacos and fiestas everywhere.

Aside from that, two big games, at least for me, are comming out: Dragon Quest XI and Shadow of the tomb raider. I still dont know how the hell to am i gonna keep up with these games considering im trying to catch up with my 2016-2017 game library backlog. The worst thing, not in a bad way but more due the fact of time, Red dead redemption 2 comes out in october and im still on the early quests of witcher 3 and thinking about starting Yakuza 0... those open world games are gonna kill me hahaha.

Oh yeah, Destiny expansion 2 forsaken is comming out too but, as much as i care about the game, im definitely gonna skip this and focus on single player games. Maybe ill get it once it goes on a sale. who knows.

In other news, CONFUROR event its getting closer, and im very excited since its my very first furrycon event ill be visiting and i dont know what to expect from that. Im curious overall and happy that i will finally meet some good friends ive met online.

hey there people! sorry about the long absent on updates and my whereabouts, but ive been quite busy at work badly. Its been too much that everytime i log into FA or other social networks after work, even on gaming, i prefer to lay down listening music or watching netflix.

Thankfully, my vacations came at the precise moment: Traveled around many places inside México, explored the hell out of Guanajuato (amazing and beautiful), Mérida, Villahermosa, Aguascalientes, Morelia and the main city: CDMX ( ciudad de mexico / Mexico City)

As well, i enjoyed one of the most amazing concerts ive ever been. A truly unforgettable performance by the amazing band Sigur Ros. Never expected to see these guys live and belive me... its one unique spiritual experience. Very different to what ive ever seen before.

And now back to the usual business fully recharged. As well, since im economicaly broke (gotta love those credit cards) dont expect too much artwork around my gallery in the next months. You know, i was a bit doubtful about the new changes in the gameplay and direction. At first glance, the first person view always reminded me to outlast or sensless "jump scare" games which, to my opinion, breaks the game´s charm. Thankfuly, its not the case with RE7.

It brings back something the newest games lacked: True Surival and tensión. Goes back to everything what made RE good and drops the the "I AM A FUCKING COMMANDO AND I CAN DESTROY AND KICKTHE SHIT OUT OF ZOMBIES AND WESKER" You know what im talking about right? the feeling of being unarmed, with a single knife, finding your new peashooter with scarse ammo, fucking short inventory slots, going here and there around the storage room to manage all your equipment, looking keys to open specific doors (classy resident evil!). And of course... finding that fucking shotgun is such a relief! never felt so good in a game when finding this baby haha.

ohhh and the enviroment its good. Really good and scary as shit. Sure, so far i haven seen any zombies but the "family" characters in the game keeps a good tension. Perhaps this is the only thing that reminds me a bit of outlast but, its very well done.

So far my first impressions are great! i totally recommend you guys to check it out. You wont be dissapointed.

You know, i was never the kind of guy who enjoyed playing on any portable devices. The reason is im really used to play in front of a TV while sitting on a couch and setting up my 5.1 surround sound. Nothing beats that.

Lately, most of gaming companies are developing games for mobile devices, this due the technology is improving really fast and becoming accesible to people around the world. Considering the situation, i tried some phone games but nothing that could hook me up hours... until now:

Two "gacha" styled games are available to download today from square enix and these are:

- Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
- Final Fantasy Mobius

Yup. Two very impressive RPGs for mobile devices which totally made me forgot about my console games at the moment.

Brave Exvius, its the kind of Final Fantasy old school people like me were expecting: Easy to play olschool mechanics, Amazing and crisp 2d graphics, really likeable characters and story and very nostalgia driven. Beign a "gacha" games, of course theres microtransaction shit, but dont let this discourage you from giving it a try since is not annoying like any other games out there.

Mobius, a different take from square enix for an original final fantasy. Impressive super 3d graphics for a phone game gotta say, Deep job system as well the soundtrack is... just incredible:

Mobius was a little difficult to enjoy since it throws you a lot of in game tutorials right at the beginning. A bit annoying yes but, once you master the basic and gameplay mechanics, the game becomes quite addictive. Heres a bit of its gameplay:

Like brave exvius, Mobius has microtransactions but nothing you should worry about.

Considering to what happened on FA a couple of days ago, which is really quite a shame knowing how big the community and user base is around here, im looking for a second option like Furaffinity.

Not that im moving because i really love FA. Afterall, thanks to this website i found lots of awesome friends, artists and content. I can hardly give the middle finger or say good bye even with all the troubles around here. But still, im considering to look into another place just in case or have like "a backup" if FA decides to go in "coma" again.

I do have an account on weasyl, an option that im really considering but before that, i would love know your suggestions guys and gals. Anybody tried furry network? is it accessible? or maybe another site i may not know about it.
