Easy Potato Pancake Recipe
General | Posted 7 years agoTelbasta's Blender Potato Pancakes
2 Cups Raw Potatoes (peeled, cubed and patted dry)
2 Eggs
1 med Onion quartered (optional..can also sub onion powder)
1/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp Salt
3/4 tsp Baking Powder
Dump everything in the blender, cover, and blend 5 Seconds (I use lower settings 3-4 out of 10 Speeds)
Push down potatoes and scrape sides of blender if needed to clear sticking dry ingredients
Blend for 5-10 more seconds until just slightly chunky. Smooth is ok too!
Pour on hot greased griddle/pan. Brown and turn to get both sides.
You can also roll the pan just after pouring the batter to make a thinner pancake (good for stuffing).
These are good with sour cream, applesauce, butter and maple syrup, or stuffed with a pineapple whipped cream blend.
Enjoy!

My $.02 as submitted to the FCC (Net Neutrality Journal)
General | Posted 8 years agoIf you have not already, please go to FCC.gov and file a comment to keep Net Neutrality as is. Please? It really only takes a couple of minutes, even if you are not a US citizen.

Net Neutrality is the best option for both customers AND businesses large and small. I have been in all three positions. As an employee of a large bank, I love that my clients can get assistance 24x7 online and even compare our services with competitors so that they can chose the right financial solutions. My family runs several small businesses, and the internet allows them to find new customers and keep in contact with existing ones for little to no cost. If Net Neutrality goes away they would have to pay more for the same services if they could get access at all. This would increase their overhead and reduce their number of employees they can afford. So Net Neutrality indirectly keeps people employed. As a consumer I love that I have the freedom to use a multitude of services: Email, Telnet, BBSs, Web Browsing, and a plethora of communication software and games. Right now the web is also an open platform for speaking our viewpoints and has the most freedom and flexibility of any platform to support out 1st Amendment rights. Allowing companies to filter, direct, and charge a surcharge to access these sites and services would allow them to censor what is said and viewed. Communication companies have NOT dealt in good faith with the FCC, consumers, and the U.S. Government in the past. They already charge outrageous rates for internet access as compared to the access prices in other 1st world countries. There is no need for change to the rules for Net Neutrality. This is done solely for the profit of a few companies and appointed/elected individuals. Any 'benefit' claimed by the companies involved (other than gross profit) could be gained by an increase/upgrade of hardware at said companies. Please keep things as they are. Sincerely, Bob Brown
TLDR: Changing/getting rid of Net Neutrality is simply a money grab for a few large communication companies at the expense of other business and consumers.
ADDTLDR: Net Neutrality Good! Corporate greed Bad!
