Regarding all Art and NFT's
Posted 4 years agoSo i hate that I HAVE to make this journal.
But as a precautionary measure (and tying into my profile. I will HAVE to say this.
Arthien is an Owned (and by law of copyright) legally copyrighted by himself from having originally created his character over 10+ years ago, and the artwork along with it.
This also applies to my own Character Dracostar, and all varients of him. Once again by Law of copyright use for having said character as an original design for over 10+ years and is a recognisable design that is different from others both me and and Arthien are well within our legal rights to follow up on legal issues if our art is found being sold as an NFT (if it isnt first run by us AND the artist who had originally drawn the artwork.)
Putting it simply, we DO NOT support Non Fungible Tokens, as the large amount of questionable use cases and art theft is quite high.
This is as I said a precautionary measure as art theft is a thing and with the advent of NFT's the problem is far more dangerous than you think right now. So please be aware of your own art as well.

This is rare for me
Posted 5 years agoBut I have for the (I beleive) second time, had to put a refund request to paypal, due to an artist who is refusing to communicate with me and only for a simple update is all I am asking them about!
After I think well over...50 commissions this is the second time I have had to do this, and whats worse is this is an artist I have commissioned multiple times (two other times to my recollection).
I will of course give them time to reply to the request, but come mid November if I don't hear anything I am pushing it through to paypal claims directly.
