Haven't really had anything to say really for a while, life hasn't exactly been positive. But this gives
me an excuse to say something other than goofy comments on submissions for once in a grand while.

Vehicle News

First and foremost, I haven't had use of my car for the past month, it's made my sleep schedule suffer a bit with having to drive others around in order to maximize vehicle sharing. Good news part of this is that after a month I just got the call that my car is repaired, the Bad news part is that it's going to cost $2,400. Something about rebuilding a controller unit for a 20 year old vehicle just to make the fuel injectors do whatever they do with the correct timing? I'm not a car person. All I know is that my vehicle was shaking to the point that I started to feel an unsafe anixety just driving to and from work. I just pray that this is the last major repair I have to do for this vehicle because otherwise I just need to move on. Somehow at least.

Computer News

Jesus this thing is fucking old. This PC was a good bargain almost a Decade ago. But it's reached the point that I can't even meet the minimum requirements anymore unless I'm willing to start investing in numerous part replacements. Some of you on my Steam list may have noticed when I'm online that all of my hours are typically invested into "Casual Idle" games. That's pretty much where I'm at. Baldur's Gate 3 and Diablo 4 were the latest games I played but I just had to stop due to poor performance issues becoming negative experience. Everyone whose gotten to play stuff like helldivers 2 and all that, gosh I envy you guys.

Typically this is the part of the journal where someone plugs their Paypal or Gofundme for donations but don't worry I won't. I can't justify asking anyhow. I just hope that, aside from the pieces I have yet to upload, everyone understands that there may be extended pauses in uploads from me. I don't think words will be able to accurately describe this, but my submissions to you guys has felt like a lifesaver for me adding more time to the clock. Sometimes going weeks or more w/o posting something because I wasn't in the right mindset to write something for it. Even if in the end few people even acknowledge whats there. It really brightens my day a little longer when folks do! I'll certainly feel at a loss if I ever run out of things to share with you guys.

Just finished Binge watching this little Gem over on Netflix.

Man I gotta say that was a wholesome little campy Journey.
As someone who has really only seen snippets of the Anime itself I can't say for certain just how accurate
the live action was to the anime, but I cannot deny just how much I felt for the characters and how
their ongoing journey was portrayed throughout the whole of the first season.

All the characters had their spotlights and moments.

And I hope it stays that way and that we get a Season 2
This was genuinely an inspiration to how I personally feel that live action adaptations should be done.

But that's just this Dumb Lizzers opinion.

I don't much like posting these but a Precious Bean of mine Sazandora is dealing with some hard times and trying to make the best of things. They're quite independent but have finally managed to gather up the confidence to put themselves out there and ask for some form of assistance. I've known them for several years now and have always tried to help by frequenting them as a Commissioner as I just love their art style and the experience they provide is absolutely wonderful and pleasant from every point of view I can think of.

They have a few issues that they're dealing with as of the moment, physical and mental and so on but at least they're trying their best. I just wish that was enough in this day and age, but thankfully they have the fandom and it's community to go to for help. You don't have to donate but feel free share around, or perhaps consider them for a commission in the future.

We all see the arguments that show up on Miles YCH posts.

"This is way too expensive."
"I could get several commissions from other artists for better prices."
"This is grifting/exploitation/taking advantage."

Yes it is expensive. ( big numbers are big )
Yes you can get more art from other artists. ( then just go do it and stfu )
No it's not, because the price is right in front of you and you can see what you're getting.

But Artists are not equal, and neither is the Art they produce

Artists do not have One price, but in fact have Two.

They have the Price of their Art.
And they have the Price of their Brand.

These are 2 very different things that will vary Greatly from artist to artist.
It's much the same with Brand name products.

We all know that a T-shirt with a random Decal on it is worth around 10 bucks.
But if I High Name Brand like Disney sticks a popular character on the same T-shirt with a 50$ price tag then people will buy it because of their love for Disney and that Character

Artists like Miles-DF are the same.
Their Art is only worth a couple hundred bucks maybe, similar to other artists with equally appealing styles.
But Miles-DF's has been in the fandom for near two decades and has amassed a large following that loves his art.
That has resulted in him developing a "BRAND" much in the same way as Disney.
And fucking congratulations to any other artist that has made a name for themselves as well.

At the end of the day we're all capable adults who are able to get MILES-DF quality Art from Artist A, B, or C.

But remember we live in a world where people will look at you differently for Buying a 600$ Android instead of an 1200$ iPhone.

They're both just fucking phones.
