alright, I'm taking a quick break on a new painting right now to get my thoughts down.

I have found over the years that I have a new idea of what i want to do for the rest of my life just about once a day. this is really inconvenient because what I end up doing is wasting my time on a project that i hope will get me to that goal and never end up finishing it because a new idea comes up and then i start working on that and so on and so on.

Apparently this is a sign of depression (so i have read) and I really don't know what to do about it. im tired of working jobs that feel like they are only jobs a person in high school should have, but I dont want to get a job that won't help me reach my goals in life. This causes conflict because i don't know what my goals are in life. I love art, but I cant see any means of getting in the field. My best work is probably my traditional paintings, but I have no means of marketing that skill; or maybe I do and I just dont know how.

TLDR: Life is scary, and I have frequent panic attacks, and im sorry I don't get enough art done.

Yep, I am now sitting at a comfortable 24 years of age XD that is pretty old for a wolf if I do say so myself!

I'm really hoping to figure out what i'm going to do for a job this year. I would like to keep going with traditional art, and in time find a way to make money off of it. I would like to travel the world and draw and paint what I see, slowly building my own vision of the world. honestly there is a lot I would love to do. The only thing holding me back is my own fear and doubt....

ahem! But anyways! I had a lovely weekend with the family and drank many good birthday wishes away XP I hope to spend even more time with my family and friends this year! and with any luck, make some new friends in the furry fandom! hehe

I saw  zenirix was doing a 15 day challenge where you have to do a sketch for each day and decided I was interested. It was an idea thought up by the amazing  oonami! I encourage all of you to get behind this and give it a shot. The gods know I need to post more stuff here.

no, hm, perhaps i should just let it not.
Its like the dialog of my brain unsencered with the sweet irony of my re-writing that word over and over again.

so what is it that i wish to think about, then correct, re-write and make proper.

when do we all start feeling human? its a problem that ive come across on multiple ocasions and something I have never been able to answer. if "L" says that im terrible at expressing my emotions, how can she really say, just because my means of expression are different from her own. but its not just hers, its everyones. it some times feels like im stuck between two worlds, mearly observing them like a passenger on a subway watching each station pass by, the people waiting along the edge as nothing more then blurred faces with no name. And I hate that. I hate those water color fucks with the eyes that never last, and the stories that are never told. I ease drop on peoples conversations in the general public in an attempt to draw lines around their shifting forgetable fourms. So who is to say that they are more emotionaly inclined then I. their emotions might feel just as fake to them as my emotions feel to me, perhaps we are all lieing to eachother because we feel the need to keep up this idea that emotions exsist. trying to paint our own lines around our water color shit.

tonight is a night that makes me want to keep thinking even though its exhausting. I feel the need to preserve this moment of clarity because it is far to easy to fall into a cycle of being human. Fuck that card board cut out representation of a 1960's perfect family. Im not that! I want to travel, I want to get in fights with complete strangers and buy them a drink after, have mutaly grown as lost souls from the experiance. I am not a writer, but I will be damned if im a robot.

I cant beleive how different of a person I am each day. truely, my theory that we are eternaly in a state of dieing and living seems more and more realistic every day. who am I to say that the me that is sitting here now, is the same me that was sitting here yesterday? or will be the same me tomorrow. what if this me is going to die tonight, or is dieing right now, and tomorrow a new me, in a new world will mearly shrug to the coming of another boring day, oblivious to the death of himself no more then 8 hours prier. what if a creative mind is some one who some how managed to survive past their daily purge of their past self. some one who held on to those experiances, every single one of them, and was able to grow in doing so.

what if we really are just dials on a radio station, and right now some one else is writing out this exact sentence, and making these exact mistakes, and is just as woried as I am about posting this anywhere, If I were to post it and he\she didnt, they would see it and be shocked, as would i if the opposite happened, but, since I am writing this out, they would be thinking the same thing I am. which means that if I wait to see if someone else posts this online, then, so will my double, thus it will never get posted. but if I do post it, so should they, thus making the idea possible to be viewed.

So.... My Main hard drive died 2 days ago and I lost everything, all my client work, all my new art. But the good news is that I'm back up and running and ready to start rocking out some really awesome new art for this year! I wont let this little inconvenience stop my awesome progress XD

All in all the last year really went out in a ball of fire, tablet died, computer died, started to loose direction in life, and my mate and I decided that it just wasn't working anymore. BUT! its a brand new year, full of new mistakes, new possibilities, new loves and new heart breaks. its gonna be awesome! Happy new year everyone!

So after about 4 years of great duty my Bamboo pen and touch finally bid this world fair well. But its ok because I was planning on upgrading anyways. I plan on moving up to a medium Intuos Pro. but first I have to get some other financial stuff settled. I'm sorry to say that I have taken a great deal of my work to tumblr. something about the layout as well as the ease in uploading just makes it easier to work with. I was wondering what you guys thought of following artists on tumblr?

As far as life goes, I'm still trying to get my life in the right swing. Being a recent graduate, its hard to be thrown out into the real world. Being a student has its difficulties but it also has structure, and I've got to say i kind of miss it. But not all is going poorly. I have had art side interviews that I'm waiting to hear back from, and I'm working on a graphic novel for a client, Likewise, There is a good chance that I will be working for a start up company to make APPs.

Ive taken a strong interest in anatomy and posing as of late. And the more I practice the more i realize how much I need to learn about how skin wraps around muscle and bone, also how those bones and muscles and bones can move the body in such a way to make a ball room dancer dance, and a fighter hit with great force. Our body's are complex and beautiful, and I feel that I've been doing a mockery of true anatomical structure. So for the time being I'm going to be taking a small break from posting finished pieces, I'm going to try to still post some study sketches if i can find the time, and if they are up to par. Thank you for your continued support, and if anyone could suggest human or furry anatomy tutorials to me that you like, I would highly appreciate it! (might even give a small gift ;P)

Well we are hitting that point in the quarter when my homework takes presidency over my ability to do work for myself -.- I will still keep my commissions open though, I could really use the money still :P

I started boxing today, it was something to behold, I god my a** kicked XD But it was a lot of fun. If I didn't say it before, about 3 months ago I realized that i was falling into depression and my art was suffering, thankfully I chose to push back instead of give in, so I began working out. 3 months later and now I have decided to take up boxing, and I honestly couldn't be any happier ^.^

As for my art, I might actually be trying to get into traditional a little more, its been a very long time since i have worked with just oil paint and canvas, sooooo once I feel good about it, you might just be seeing some of that, I want to do more personal badges for people.
