I wish FurAffinity would set accounts of furs who have passed-on & died.. as "deceased" when we all know these members as passed on. There are so many accounts that still say "member" when we all know they have died & passed on, but the FA rules requre family or proof of some format, were to understand that some users do not have family to conform their passing, just only fur-friends who knew them. FA admins need to change this, as i know nearly a dozen members & fur-friends who have actually passed on, but still listed here on FA as "active members". Those old-requirements needs to be changed and updated for many reasons, one being to respect the loss of a fellow furry-member of FA. I hope Squggles can address this issue to change that flaw, to give the recognition, respect, & last tribute to ALL those in our community who we love & have passed. I know when i cross that rainbow-bridge, i have nobody to "confirm to FA"that i have passed on, For Years FA did not accept anything other than direct family to send the proof that a member has passed on, but not all of have any direct-family left or relatives to confirm their passing, They just have their close friends as their family.. FurAffinity needs to really look into this. I know so many fellow & even well-known artists who passed on, but have not been given the dignity or respest to list their accounts as Diseased to let other know they have passed on.. Please share this, as its something we need to get FurAffinity to see, adress, & change to pay respect to our fallen & passed fellow "furry family". - FS6

- As I am an older fur like Dragoneer was, we were a part of the original furry-fandom community, and i have seen way to many of us "original" furs pass on over the last few years, i accept it as fate & destiny, as we all are only on this planet for a short time. -Some time ago, i began a story series where a 20 year old,, short, small young man who was struggling in poverty, set out in his late father's greatest possession, a 1967 Mustang Boss 302, to get out of the rotting moldy, leaking shack he lived in. lonely, hungry, depressed, - Devon Alexander has never ventured out to the outside world he was born in a remote isolated country farm, his late-parents left to him. Devon packed the few belongings he had in his dad's car, and hit the road to seal a better life. - The story continues to where Devon discovers (after his crash accident) that the great large cats of the earth have become civilized, gained-the status as a "people" race that now live among humans and developed a great bond/Alliance with the human people. Devon eventually becomes close friends with Max after the night rescue, (he also quickly becomes friends & bonds with Max's other relatives, his sister Elsa, (A lioness who is a doctor!) Max's friend Chuck, a Cheetah-mechanic who works at Max's Auto-shop) Among others including Anthony, (a civilized Bengal Tiger) and Jesse, their smile-inducing red-neck-style, human bearded master mechanic, they nick-named the "red-dragon" Devon eventually began to work at Max;s shop with them all, as if you follow the story, they all become close, but the bond between the small, short, 98 lb, 5.1 feet tall, slender, human named Devon, -and the much bigger 340 lb, 7.2 feet tall Anthropomorphic South-African male Lion, -began to grow, and eventually will lead to some of the most remamtic love-story between these two "completely different" beings, and the story is planned to take two directions, a mild romantic story between them both, and a more erotic, sexual-dream-fetish-direction of these two so physically different guys, but to not impossible-fetish, love, sex, and bond they both gain & build unexpectedly together. The Devon & Max Chronicles story may have took a pause some years ago, but its about to come-alive again, -but only if i receive enough support to finish the new chapters of their romantic & sexual adventures. - I just got a phone call from my brother minutes ago, that his 16 year old daughter, (my only niece) is in hospital in unknown condition (at the time of the phone call) after a second suicide attempt, due to her mental issues.. As of right now if her condition gets to critical, I may have to make an unscheduled trip to go to Ontario to see them.

Its good that FurAffinity don't allow AI generated images, for so many reasons. -One is that AI, or generated images not "original" artist-creation works, They are just computer-fabricated images based from a key-word command to a 3rd-party website algorithim generator AI programing, (Like the new Bing AI that so many recently become adicted with.) I have seen some great furry "generated" AI images, Which maybe there can be a seperate, limited place for? I don't know or thought about) - but that amounts to only 30% or less, because there are so many bad Artificial-Imagery created renderings out there being up-loaded & plugging up Instagram, Twitter, etc. Sure there are some really good renderings created, (I have a few that worked quite well) but i feel its still computer-generated image, just based on key-word-commands given to a AI generator program. The recent Bing AI Image generator has exploded with furry images, and honesty its good that that FA hav not become a dumping-ground for so many of what i have seen, (and some asre really bad) Bing AI furry generatedimages. -There is a big difference between original, talented, artist created & drawn works done by hand, .. than a computer-generated image that is done by simple key-words. -Lets keep FurAffinity original for real furry artists & creators, artists, story-writers, fursuit creators, modelers, & everyone who can create beautiful arts originally by talent & skill.

- Its been almost 17 years since i joined FurAffinity. I been in the fury fandom almost 24 years. Became an artist, then fursuit builder. Been looking through my faves & friends lists tonight, and its depressing to see so many friends i have known for a couple dacades vanish from FurAffinirty, and some vanish completely from the fandom. Some passed away, some just left FA, some moved on from the fandom. it brings tears to my eyes as i have considered the furry fandom a massive part of me & considred it family to me for most of my life. I am happy, fortunate, & very thankful im still alive, able, & sincerley greatful i am still building fursuits and able to, but i know now it won't be much longer. Its hard to see so many i was close to dissapear, pass-away, or just vanish. I guess i have to cherish the time i had in the firry fandom. *hugs you all* (Another journal is coming soon, that will be revealing my health decline, and near future.

Yappy has announced he is retiring from the fandom after some 20 ~ 25+ years as a great member & fursuiter many of us have loved over the years... He & his suit was always center of the great fursuit-photoshoot at Anthrocon, MFF, & other cons for decades. Yappy fox is one of the founders of our original fandom, and been a icon of equality, open, friendly stand to what the furry fandom was originally. Farewell Yappy Fox, you have been a staple of what the real furry fandom was, full of acceptance, equality, happiness, sharing a common-interest if anthropomorphic art & costumes community we all cherished to our hearts... Not the hate-filled, political-divided, call-out-culture-infected burning mess it has become now..

Birthday today... i am now 234 years old! .. XD joking aside.. -its my birthday today.. another year I managed to survive through, and hope to survive a few more if i can, but i feel i'm becoming one of those past, older original furs, fur artists, and fursuit builders who created this fandom open to all, but now the new child-minded (won't say here) furs want to cancel us all and change the fandom to something that is toxic & full of hate..

I heard some info that a beloved friend, Lionus Goldenmane may have passed on. I am trying to confirm this, but i know lionus has been battling severe dementia & health-decline over the last couple years. Lionus was the very first furry artist i found in 1999. He inspired me to love the fandom from then to 20+ years later. Lionus became a great friend to me, and helped me gain inspiration to push forward with my art works, eventually expanding into fursuit building as Stormfire-Studios-Costumes, (SSC) We will miss you greatly my friend... Especially me, as you were the most influential inspiration in my life when i found the furry fandom. God-speed Ron/Loinus... To me you were one of the founding roots of the furry community.

The hard facts of life.
I been in the furry fandom since the VCL, Furnation, Orlando furry arts, Yerf, & furry Livejournal days.
I started off as a fan of great artists like Wookiee, Lionus, Dark Natasha, RogMinotaur, Heathter Brunton, Jessica Willard (Falstaff) Kranhos, and many others. I been through the days of the first Anthrocon's & other conventions.. and lived many great years getting to meet new friends and people in the furry fandom long before it became toxic with call-out-culture, mindless haters, child minded current generation of those who wish to see the fandom burn now.
Some day i will make my last post, journal, tweet, reply, before i die & be forgotten.. I seen it happen to so many friends already... i fear it, but it's inevitable for all of us.. i just hope i made a little impression on the furry fandom with my arts and fursuit work before my time comes & i move on to what meets us all after death... I'm not getting any younger. The furry fandom meant a lot to me, and i tried my best to give back to it, and make people happy with my fursuit & art works, While i'm not the best artist or builder, i tried my best, tried to be a part of a community i love.. and hope that least made some people happy and remember me for what i wanted to achieve. I never hated anyone, while some hated me, i tried to be a positive part of this furry life in as positive way that i knew how.. I'm not perfect like some others who think they are or hoped i was, but i tried. I Love you all.. I know my time is nearing the end. Just remember me for the good i tried, but i can say i enjoyed my time & life in the furry world. Loves you all..

Tomorrow is my birthday, ( July 21st) i will be 2 years older than the age my father passed away. After his death i always believed i would never live much past his age.. I'm not feeling the happy ATM.. Birthdays should be happy days, i just feel i am closer to my death & end..

Many may not know who Zazin Tiger was. ( https://www.furaffinity.net/user/zazin ) but he was a friend of a few of us in Ontario Canada. He had a ambition in photography, and once wanted to get a fursuit built by me & Stormfire Studios. But his life went sort of down hill during the 2000's. Some one asked about him tonight, and that brought some memories back. Zazin was a good guy, though he didn't get along with everyone or was easy to agree with, he had a lot of good intentions & was friendly and helpful to everyone.
During 2016 Zazin was working & living in Ottawa. one night he left a note in his apartment, left lots of food for his husky dog.. and in the note he left, he requested that his dog be looked after & find a new home... That night, Zazin jumped from his apartment balcony to his death. . . -Zazin & I have been friends since early 2000's. While we didn't agree on everything because he was very opinionated, he was still a friend. FurAffnity would not list his account as "Deceased" because they wanted proof from family., Zazin did not have much family, all he had was a few of us who knew him as a friend. Myself, Wookiee, Shadowspawn, Sprocket the Husky, and a few more. I know Zazin made some bad-blood with the local furs he knew, including me. But i will still acknowledge him as a friend from the past and know what happened to him. I hope Dragoneer & the furraffinity staff can understand this, and mark his account as deceased & no longer active. Zazin's blood family abandoned him long before he died, and his only family was the few friends he had.
If i could say a last few words to Jon before he went, i would have said Bro, as much as we argued about things, you are still a friend i cared about.. I wish i knew of the pain you were dealing with before you decided to take your own life.. i would have did everything i could have to help stop what drive you to do what you did. Rest in peace my friend..

Many of us who discovered the furry fandom, found it through the art of great artists such as Wookiee, Dark Natasha, and others, for us lion fans we found an artist named " Lionus"  lionus / https://www.furaffinity.net/user/lionus/ Many of his fans seem to have lost contact with him.. He has suddenly stopped posting or faving arts on FurAffinity, His last upload was 3 years ago, last journal 4 years ago, and last favorite a year & half ago.. many of us who loved this furry artist fear the worst has happened, though even after research we could not find his whereabouts or if he has passed on or not. Lionus was one of the first artists to inspire me (and others) to venture in the fandom. with his lion art.
If anyone on FurAffinity.. know him personally, please let us know where Lionus is.. or have gone.. There are quite a few of us who are worried for him. Myself, Tallyhawk, leo_darkside, and others.

Yes, i'm still active! the past year or two has been a rollercoaster of life, with the move back east to the island, all that. as the move is taking a lot of work and time, i do still plan to get back into building fursuits once i get settled & organized, and hopefully by this summer coming. Have patience, I am starting over in a new life, but not giving up building fursuits yet!
