Four goddamn decades old, I am. X3

The last few years have been insane, to say the least.

I have been here since 13th of December, 2005.

And all I got is this lousy t-shirt saying 'I am 40 years old and all I got was this lousy t-shirt'.

Welp! Since I wrote this at midnight to 5th of March over here in Sweden, I just need to get some sleep and eat cake tomorrow.

A very merry Christmas and happy new year here from Sweden. ^^ This year has been quite a ride, but will still try to remain optimistic about things, and enjoy what little things we got in these times.

Never in my life since 2005 have I seen FA being actually hijacked in the way it was as it happened for the last few days. Yet boy was it a roller coaster!

I mean you must be one special case of moron if you decide to hack this website, hijack a dead man's works, try to pin it on Kiwifarms, and expect it all to pan out? This blew up in their face faster than it happens for the saturday morning cartoon villains back in the 80's and 90's!

Glad to see FA is safe, as this has been my primary place to find the art I enjoy.

That being said, I want to again reiterate that I can be found on alternate websites, should something happen to this website again in the future.

You all know the news by new. But honestly, I never saw this coming when I woke up this morning and checked Discord channels, only to see the journal of Fender of  Dragoneer's passing.

It's tragic and he may have not had his best moments with handling the website for the last few years, it doesn't make his sudden passing any less sad.

I am one of many who registered to FA back in 2005, joining the website some 8 days after Fender and Dragoneer officially got it online (if join dates of Fender and Dragoneer are to go by). And FA has been my home for 19 years once 13th of December rolls around this year, which is almost two decades.

I met plenty of fantastic artists here, made friends with a few of them even. I met some of my best friends here. Yeah, FA isn't just my place to have a gallery of art I commissioned throughout the years, but it was the place where I could share my ideas, meet friends.. have fun you know?

This website would not exist if Dragoneer didn't decide to create a hub for furry artists to come together, even though honestly I am not really a furry, but more a buggo or insectoid than furry. ^^; Regardless, Dragoneer deserve that kudos, even if he hasn't performed well lately. But given his ailing health and stress of handling a website and changing times... I guess I can forgive him somewhat.

Rest in Peace Dragoneer, and thank you for the work you did.

...and I feel OLD... and a bit worn down by all the crap that has happened so far this year.

Just one week ago, I lost one of my few Swedish friends that I have left. :( It is heartbreaking to me, as she was an assistant teacher at two elementary schools that I attended during my younger years and I have had regular contact with her for over 30 years by now. At least her family was there with her when she passed away, so... she wasn't alone. But I failed to visit her one last time before her time was up.

Under normal circumstances I would say this whole year is a bust, if it hadn't its good moments, like Palworld and Helldivers 2, but they are hardly a comfort to losing a great friend that I know for over 30 years and had regular contact with to boot.

I just pray this year gets better, but something tells me that it is just gonna get worse.

And I have finished uploading to Itaku as of 31st of December last year, just 2.5 hours shy of New Years Eve.

And just 2.5 hours shy of new years too! And here I thought I'd be slow to be done by January, but sometimes things just go faster than you expect.

It will be interesting to see how 2024 will turn out to be. I got all the popcorn ready for either a the biggest dumpster fire in history, or a hell of a human comeback from all this, though I HIGHLY doubt it.

After a few months of dragging my feet, I finally started reuploading my stuff to Itaku. It wont be done in a few days, unless I get sudden inspiration or something. But at least I have finally begun my reuploading process.

I will be skipping a few items though as Itaku has no option to upload text-based submissions at this time. And there are some older stuff that I will skip too. However, those items are already up on Weasyl and in this gallery, so you may not miss them too hard at this time. ^^;

Anyways, jokes and such aside, it is now done. The purge has been completed as I would say it would happen in the last journal. There are a few exceptions to the rule, but they do follow the UP Section 2.7 pretty fine as there is no genitals. Plus vore is all fine in SFW sense, right? You know which pics I talk about.

Now with the purge complete comes the next step: Starting the upload to Weasyl, which will be a slow process as all this gallery purge has left my soul burning in agony because of how many pics I had to censor, even a couple of SFW ones because of bloody association with other NSFW pics or something (like Percival GA pic and the GA pic of my Latios nomming my Porygon-Z self without visible genitals).

Also with this purge done.. I doubt I will be uploading stuff here to FA, unless they are completely UP-compliant stuff. This purge is going to kill my gallery as I know a lot of you will be sorely disappointed I had to do this act in order to protect my bloody gallery and the ability to even stay here on FA. Honestly, if FA staff bans me for the sarcastic message I dropped in over 300+ submissions, then I wouldn't even bat an eyelash. I will just move onto Weasyl and just start over.

PS: I have also changed my FA avatar, in the event they decide to target me through it for whatever godforsaken reason of association with my purged art. -_- Not taking that chance either.

With the whole UP 2.7 fiasco still burning and with a few days left till deadline, I have been backing up my gallery for the last few days and now that I am done, there are a few things that will happen to my gallery.


The first matter will be about all my Pokémon and Digimon art: As you may or may not know, I have a big disclaimer on the front page of my gallery where all the characters in my gallery are depicted as being of 18 years or older. I have my stance against child porn will always have it. That is why all my Pokémorphs have been always anthromorphic, with exception of the new version of Flare who remains a non-anthro Treecko, but is stated to be an adult in his form.

However, in the UP, the written age is COMPLETELY IGNORED in favor of body proportions, as well as blanket banning 'baby Pokémon' like Pichus and Togepi.. and even several unevolved Pokémon like Torchic and so forth. And there is also the uncertainty of which other Pokémon and Digimon are banned or not, such as the Renamon debacle that is currently in full swing.

Because of this uncertainty, I will be doing the hard decision to semi-purge my gallery of all Pokémorphs and Digimorphs, no matter if they were to be 'legal' under the new UP or not. FA has been my home for a very long time, I cannot honestly afford to lose it. And seeing the general trust to FA is essentially broken in pieces, I rather be completely sure that I wont get the damned banhammer in the future over some random Pokémorph pic that was considered 'okay' by the written UP, only to change by the mood of the mod/admin that sees it... thus sadly I must do this act, even if many of the Pokémorphs in my gallery are some of my most used characters.

As for what I mean by 'semi-purge'? It is more like a major full censor of all offending art with a simple pic and the information in submission text redacted down to reasons the pictures being censored.

This semi-purge/censoring wont start right away, instead it will start on next Monday, so people can have a chance to save the pictures they want to save, or seek out the original authors and favorite the picture there instead, if they exist.


Secondly: The Full-size alt pics in my Scraps will be fully deleted, as resizing submission pictures is a possible thing these days, so they are redundant at this point.


Thirdly: My LLNI text files will fully poof, as they are old and outdated. I did intend to keep them up in my gallery as old versions people to look at. But seeing they do mention Pokémon in passing, they too must disappear.

Keep in mind that the LLNI were created by my Godly Snivy self, who is a Snivy in appearance and easily over 20+ years old. But written text does not matter to the UP as said, so thus even he must poof away as he is an unevolved Pokémon, thus considered a 'child Pokémon' in the eyes of the new UP.

A new CODEX of my LLNI is in the works, but whatever I will post it up here or not is still undecided as I want my Godly Snivy self to be their creator, but the new UP throws this into pure uncertainty.


I am fairly certain my decision is gonna upset some or a lot people, if not outright piss them off. And honestly I do not care at this point. I have sat through multiple days for the last week backing up my works and been through an emotional roller coaster for it.

FA has been my home. And I know many artists I wish to commission here. If I want to stay here? Well, no other choice than to bite that fucking bullet and weep while it explodes in my mouth and blow my lower jaw off, damned how I feel, for the will of FA staff stand above everything else, including common sense and reason apparently.

Hope you are happy FA staff. Hope you are fucking happy... -_-** Because I sure as hell am not.

And I plan on opening up an Itaku gallery someone soon, both incase migrating to Weasyl isn't as smooth as I thought, and from the fact that I heard from friends that Itaku is pretty good alternative at this point.

I normally do not post journals of this kind as I prefer to stay away from discourse that can easily go into drama.

With that being said however... I have to talk about this new update. From what I gather, it seems that context of age and maturity of individual characters has been tossed out the window in an effort to combat child porn. While I can see why they are doing this, it is still way too unreasonable to consider all form of 'child-like' proportions as an offense and as child-like.

According to FA, chibi art is now seen as child porn, which is obviously not the case as chibi is a form of Super Derforming, aka changing a normal character down to a smaller, compact form of a more cuter appearance. However, the age of said characters in such instances DO NOT change, unless it is stated otherwise. And often than not, SDing a char does not make them underage. Chibi art and SD art are an art style that originate from Japan. While one could argue Chibi and SDing is bordering on child porn, discerning the individual's age and maturity should still determine if one is truly a child or not in such instances. Something that the FA staff has decided is not worth investigating anymore.

And seeing they will consider any Pokémon and Digimon with any resemblance of 'child-like' appearances or proportions as cub/child porn, without considering the ACTUAL age of the character, this is considerably unfair to those who rather have non-anthromorph characters instead of anthro versions of Pokémon and Digimon. But even if the Pokémon were to be made anthromorphic and 'aged up' as FA staff puts it, who is not to say that any admin or mod could look at any anthro Pokémon who hasn't evolved yet, like a Treecko, Charmander, Eevee or so forth and STILL consider them as cubs? What then?

My gallery mainly contain anthromorphs, but even now I do not feel safe as I have a few instances of non-anthro chars and some chibi art. However, in all those pictures they are at least 18+ years old, something I have always stated in this gallery, both on the front page and in individual submissions, as I am 100% against child porn. But according to this new policy, me stating the ages of my characters and whatever they are mature or not DOES NOT MATTER to the FA staff. If proportions are too close to a child, then according to the staff, that equals to child porn and thus punishable. First by one week, then PERMA BAN on the second offense. At this point, I may have to consider to purge my whole gallery to be safe, something I do not look forward to as I have over 740+ submissions to go through to save, back up, then delete.

What is completely worse is this: That this is akin to a massive carpet bombing a whole city in order to combat child porn. And this is not a clever solution; instead it punishes everyone. The pedophiles will just simply move on and look for other hunting grounds, but for the others this is not so. Some members of FA have been here since the beginning of FA's creation, and they have nowhere else to go. How fair is this move really in the end? Does this really punish people who upload child porn? Or does this whip everyone else for the actions of a handful of pedophilic assholes who think themselves above everyone else?

With all due honesty, I say that Dragoneer and the FA staff must reconsider their approach on how to combat child pron, unless they seek to blanket punish everyone, all because of a handful of idiots causing trouble by being a bunch of filthy pedophiles. This approach will claim many innocents as pedophiles, all because of a bloody body type appearance, disregarding the actual age and maturity of said individuals.

As I have a new Treecko character named Flare, I have also a new avatar to reflect this. ^^

My anthro Latios Flardan has been my FA gallery mascot for a long time, yet it is time for a bit of a fresh look. ^^

38 years old by now and holy shit... what a wild time we have had so far.

Today (5th of March), I ding 37 years old!

Man.. 37 years in this crazy world. Three more years and I can claim the achievement '40 years of insanity' or something. XD

In about an hour, Sweden enters the year of 2022 and with that, we leave the year 2021.

Year 2021 has been quite... turbulent. And honestly I am not happy with the last year. But a few good things did come from it, including being vaccinated against the virus and things starting to slowly be on the up and up.

As for any things to do next year? Not sure really. Getting a job is still up in the air, yet too uncertain.

I have a project of mine that I hope to get into the beta version during this year if I go by a more realistic estimate.

My LLNI is also going to get a Codex update in form of v2.0, hopefully I will get it fully done soonish. No ETA though, as it depends on my mood.

Oh yeah.. I really, really need to kick my night owl to the curb, it has been a disruption as of late as I tend to stay up for too long at nights.


Anyways! Happy New Year everyone and let's all hope together that year 2022 gets better.

Today marks my 36th birthday. ^^ 2020 was an insane year and 2021 seem to as insane as last year. Let's hope things get better from here, though I have some doubts.
