Unfortunately, closing cost is $700 more than what we were told. So I'm hosting a sale on waist ups!

Posted 8 years agoLife has just been crazy the past bit. Got switched over to a 12 hour graveyard shift at work so I don't have a lot of time to art unless I don't want sleep. My cat had 5 kittens who are fat and healthy! Might be buying a house soon? We don't know yet, but hopefully we are, cuz then I will actually have an art studio area!!
But I am not dead!! Working on adopts but trying to find a color palette I am happy with x.x hopefully I can finish those soon.

OMG this is going to improve my artwork so freaking much x.x Not to mention I will be able to record traditional videos for my YT now!
We are done with all holiday family gatherings as of now. My work schedule just changed so I am working more, but there are still gonna be days I can work on art for a fair amount of time. I am getting my trello and patreon up and running (you can check those out on my page! {shameless self promoting})

Posted 9 years agoSo here I am typing this on my phone because I was an idiot and left my tablet inside my mostly closed laptop and allowing my cats to jump on it at some point in the middle of the day/night and now my screen is crack to all hell. I have the laptop hooked up to my tv via HDMI but the color quality on the tv is horrendous. So updates might be a bit slow for a bit as we save up to build me a new computer/buy a monitor I can hook it up to that I can actually work with. Sigh!!

Posted 9 years agoSo I story lined this comic and I have two characters for it, but I need another guy for a main character in it. It's about a guy doin his best friend's sister and I need the guy for to dirty work.
Since I am doing this comic just to try my hand out with them I would like anyone who would like to have their male character in it to comment refs below. Nothing overly buff please! It can be any species without wings cuz they would just get in the way :/ I will choose whoever I think I can draw in/will fit the bill for this but please don't be discouraged from commenting!!
It's going to be 11 pages so it might be a bit before it's finished but I am excited to put in the work! Check this out!

Posted 9 years agoSo when I started my current job. My bf worked 4pm to midnoght. Now he works midnight to 8 am. Since I don't have a car or a licence he drives me to and from work. When I talked to my boss about this she was willing to work with me coming in closer to 9 (bf is a mechanic at the local truck stop so he gets off late a lot of the time). He has been getting off closer to 8:30-8:45 all week so far. So I got a text this morning from my boss saying that I needed to stop coming in late. I told her that I wasn't trying to it's just that my bf had been getting off later. She told me that 'that doesn't change operations and the fact that you need to be here'.
I don't have any friends to give me a ride cuz we just moved here a couple months ago and we don't know anyone. She doesn't want me calling her to get a ride everyday either. So what am I supposed to do? So I'm getting a different job that has hours around my bfs. I'm gonna grab an app when I get off today and fill it out. Hopefully I can get the job. Besides maybe they will actually give me full time hours instead of part time like they are here (I told them I needed full time not part time and they gave me part time anyways)
So here we go again on the job hunt train. Wish me luck!They just don't mix
Posted 9 years agoI am an Introvert. Which means I don't talk to people unless I have something to talk to them about. And right now my life is pretty boring, so I have nothing to talk about and any time I try to talk to my friends (who we just moved away from a couple months ago) they say nothing is new so we just kinda just stop talking for a week.
I also have depression. So without being able to have something to talk about with friends and then coming home from work to have your bf be asleep cuz he works the graveyard shift really sucks. I try to make friends but at the same time I feel like I can't because I also have social anxiety.
How is a human supposed to function like this? I don't really feel like myself but I am still trying to function. Just really eh right now. I have no motivation but I am trying :/
Do you guys have any suggestions on how I can try to fix this?New job is kicking my ass! Also, YOUTUBE CHANNEL!!
Posted 9 years agoSo I started a housekeeping job a few days ago and dear lord! Housekeeping is hard work. After I get off I've been coming home and taking 5 hour naps even tho I don't mean to T.T so I haven't really arted much. Which means that I haven't go my video recorded for my YT channel for today yet but I'm half way done with it. Hopefully today is gonna be a shorter day at work so I can get it done and edited at a decent time.

Posted 9 years ago OK! So we got everything moved here on Thursday. Got MOST of it unpacked, still working on that. Organizing sucks when you don't have anything to organize in!!
Today we finally got internet! I was starting to go crazy without being able to actually watch videos while unpacking. They would play for 30 seconds then buffer and repeat. Yay!
I've been working on a batch of adopts with more 'realistic' fur patterns and breeds. There's a Briman babe I made and I haven't decided if I am going to sell her or not. I just think she is so perfect and ugh!!
Anyways, how has everyone been? Any thing exciting happen while I was gone?

WE ARE MOVING!!
It's gonna be a long 2-3 weeks. I don't know how soon we will be able to get internet out to the new place when we find one. We are going to go look at a few different places this weekend.

How long do you normally have them run until they end? Is a week too long?
Is it better to have it end so many hours after the last bid? Is it better to have one at a time or multiple at once (in the same summission)? Are there certain days that they should start/end?

I am making a journal because in the past when I have streamed no one has shown up. Is there a certain time of day/ day of the week that you guys would prefer I streamed?

Posted 10 years agoApparently there is a huge misunderstanding going on or something.
Those of you who have been watching me for a while know of the cauldron YCH that I posted toward the beginning of the month. I had the Starting bid at $75. One person bid on it, time ran out, I replied to them that they had won and went to bed. The next day I went to check and see if they had messaged me to find they had deleted their bid. So I went to message them to see if they couldn't afford it. Unfortunately, I couldn't send the message because the site stated that they had blocked me.
So, after asking for advice, I decided to take the first auction down and begin anew with it. I blocked the person because I do not want someone bidding on things if they are just going to back out of it.
When I re-posted the auction I had lowered the price to $25 so more people would be interested. The auction had ended and the person who bid the most won. I messaged them, they sent payment and I gave them what they paid for. This has been about a week or so ago now.
Today I was changing a few things on my page and I saw my block list so I went to her page to see if she had unblocked me and I was going to send her a message about what happened. Unfortunately, I found a journal she had written about me saying that "when you win an auction don't you typically get something out of it?" She went on about how I had re-posted the auction and how she messaged me then I blocked her.
She would've understood if I had extended the time limit to see if I could get more bids and she would've been ok with that. Then she wrote: " But she didn't extend the auction an extra few days, she pulled a full reset, ignored the fact someone had in all fairness already won said auction and then blocked that someone when they asked what happened. Artist expect some degree of professionalism and manners from their clients, is it really to much for clients to ask the same from artist?"
I had never received a message from this person.
I ALWAYS try my best to be professional when dealing with commissioners who buy YCHs and other forms of my art. Which is why I was going to message her when I saw that she had deleted her bid.
If I had wanted to get rid of her bid why would I re-post the whole auction with a lowered price? For someone who is trying to make it to where they can do art as a living, why would they take a lower price when the $75 price was already won?
This makes no sense to me.
Now I don't know if someone hacked her account or the website went wacky with her bid or not. But I would completely understand that and, if she wished, I would do a commission for her since the auction got messed up. But that seems unlikely since she said she messaged me then I blocked her after I got the message that I never really received.
Does anyone have any opinions on this that I'm just not getting?
EDIT: And I appear to still be on her block list so I cannot sort this out with her.
