Promises have been made in the direction of FA staff making the upload policy less broad-brush, but there needs to be action.

In particular if there is not a satisfactory way you can define "childlike body" in the upload policy please consider a set of internal rules for moderators that makes it explicitly clear that height is not a selector for being 'childlike'. Artists have disappeared off my watch list or had their galleries emptied because they draw cartoony, short characters. This is not OK; you can't ban an art style because you can't figure out what constitutes a depiction of a child.

I am burned out on cliffhangers.

It feels like every comic i read or show i watch lately has a cliffhanger ending; the worst of which are high-tension, character-is-dying type cliffhangers (Kaiju 8 I am calling you out here).

what drives authors to end a work like this and then just drop it?

Each hanging cliffhanger is like a ticking time-bomb; use them too often and your fans will get sick of it, and you. This feels like the author version of uptalk; everything is a question to try and call attention to yourself, you always end on a cliffhanger in an attempt to keep the audience glued to you.

If you are one of those authors and you read this please reconsider your choice to end your stories on cliffhangers.

Literally the first play session after getting it working I notice that it suffers from one of my largest furry pet peeves; every second NPC has heterochromia.

In real animals of the species depicted in SkyFurry heterochromia is lottery-jackpot levels of rare; so this is absolutely massive over-representation. Even in the intensely-bred domesticated dog and cat breeds that feature higher prevalence it is still at the one in thousands level.

Heterochromia seems to be the low-key cousin to sparklewolf-ism in terms of being used to make 'sonas "special"; Just remember that Syndrome was right... when everyone has heterochromia to look special nobody is special any more (and by implication everyone is a fake).

Rant being ranted: I can see all of the care and attention that went into putting SkyFurryNG together, and it looks really good overall. I would very much recommend it to anyone looking for a furry spin on Skyrim.

The last several months has been trying socially and not because of social distancing; lately it feels like either everyone wants my attention right or everyone is ghosting me.

One day I have 5+ people hitting me up in every messenger and communication method available including in person, and they are all impatient; they want responses NOW. Fast forward to the very next day and I am all alone; literally nobody is bothering to respond. I really don't get it; my social life used to be a constant hum with occasional dips in either direction..

Going through my watchlist and unwatching everyone that has nothing in their gallery, an account abandonment note, and/or has moved on to styles of art I am not interested in at this time. If your art or my tastes evolve in the right directions I'm sure i will find you again (FA is a finite space after all).

people with relations beyond "I like the art you do" are exempt of course.

welcome to the latest fad... the latest plea for attention.

Do you guys know that some artists are posting 2+ journal entries and a new submission every time they stream? My journal listing just went from sieve-able day-to-day drama to complete muck... all over the latest attention craze.

I don't have a problem with people Live Streaming, or even with people posting about it; but for the love of god and those shreds of sanity I still have... please stop posting 3+ things per day about you live-streaming.

Consider giving us some forewarning so that if we like your art we can plan some time to watch and you can get more than the drooling fanboi crowd who lives off of government income assistance programs in their mother's basement.

Ranting aside;
* livestreaming artists who give little or no advance notice of streaming have no right to complain when they get the dregs of society in their live-stream chat box.

* Posting in 2+ places on one site about you streaming is nothing but attention whoring and people who do this should re-examine their reasons for streaming in the first place (isn't streaming about interactive feedback, not interactive fan-wankery?).

* Please clean up after yourself at least; delete those attention whoring entries the moment you are done streaming. If you don't want to delete that submission then do better: edit that submission you posted to be the image you livestreamed; at least that won't do so much to contribute to database fragmentation and site slowdowns.

I'll spare you the details, but it boils down to me selling my land in twilight bound (which wasn't my sort of neighborhood anyway) and looking for furry-friendly land on Zindra(the Adult-rated continent)...

Anyone know of a decent furry community in the area? (or want to buy land in the middle of a bunch of private clubs and bloodsport arenas?)

It was great to meet people that I could talk to, even in one of the worst moods I have been in a very long time (family junk). It was equally awesome to find out that there are people in SL that are more friendly than "Iz private tier plz" *orbiter goes off*. I think I did more talking and said more that night than I have ever been willing to share with people who I have known for such a short span. My self-centered rambling pretty much monopolized the local chat and I hope that didn't offend too many people (>_<).

Beer + SL club + stressed out poor mood = way too much talking...

All in all I plan to hang around some more and hope that the chatterbox effect wears off...

Having a fun time in SL so far. Yiff is the word (some of the time). Generally catching on to modding, but I ran into some trouble: I'm trying to mod some ankle cuffs to fit my digigrade avatar... and for some reason the right ankle worked and the left ankle did not... (even though i followed exactly the same procedure).

Does anyone have some advice on how to get the ankle cuff scripts working, or maybe know where I can get a set made?

Just started noobing it up in SL as Demicus Ying. learning to unpack and trying to find a community that can put up with my shape-shifting and lack of understanding of local social graces. (Apparently in Luskwood when there is only half a conversation going on in general it should be considered 'private'. Nothing like getting shunned on your first day.)

Anyone know any good places to hang out for the socially-inept and shape-shifting/latex inclined? (and where I can get latex skins for scaly Avs, lol)

roleplay withdrawal is remarkably unpleasant for how frivolous roleplay seems.

A partner with which I used to freeform roleplay has just become buried in a roleplay guild on WoW and is completely occupied talking to other friends.

This leaves me high and dry in terms of an ongoing roleplay world which I have become rather attached to (and has been ongoing with only 2 major resets for at least a decade). I wonder if the overall theme has become to thick for my friend (as they called the most recent reset) and they are unable to tell me that it is too much.

The whole thing leaves me reeling a bit as I have no source of RP that can fill the particular void this has created.

I am still amazed by just how disconnected I feel at the loss of something that seemed so small.

Work has had me so wound-up lately that I can't seem to get anything actually drawn. Lot of nifty stuff is born grows old and dies in my brain, but I just can't summon enough patience to sit still and draw. (at least not the way I want to draw this stuff) I refuse to post the kind of infantile refrigerator art that I am able to get on paper right now.

Sorry for the mini-rant, but I figure all you guys watching me deserve to know why I'm not doing much lately.

The admins posted a monosyllabic explanation that leaves me feeling like I did something wrong.

To top it all off they didn't even have the courtesy to explain themselves in private if the reasons were sensitive.

Random resets of passwords is terrible admin etiquette and begs more explanation than "Security Audit: We have changed the passwords to a random default on a small number of accounts. The 'Password Reset' feature is confirmed to be working (thanks yak!), even with yahoo accounts, which was rumored to not accept emails from FA. To recover your account please use the Recover my Password feature.".

How were these accounts selected?
