For more than a year Congress has been holding hearings for the drafting of a brand new US Copyright Act. At its heart is the return of Orphan Works

What does this mean for artists?
it means it will make it easier for infringers to steal artists works and harder for people who are making or trying to make a living out of art more difficult. This will effect every artist and all the artwork they have created, are creating, and will be created. Corporates, Big businesses, and publishers want this to pass to make money out off artists works without paying us artists for past, current, and future artwork.

What exactly is the big change?
Right now under current law, the moment you create a piece of artwork, it's instantly protected under copyright law with you as the copyright holder, meaning if someone infringes on your rights by creating deriverate works upon your work, or simply marketing/using it without your permission, you get to sue and claim it. You are in charge and control of what happens with your work.
With the law change your art will no longer be protected from the moment it's created; rather, you have to register each and every work individually with profit organisations to make your rights legitimate.
Sucks big time, right? First of all ain't nobody got time for this and secondly, my work is mine, and should be acknowledged as such always.
This law opens doors and gates for corporations to leech off our work without paying us anything. This law change does not have the benefits of the individual artists in mind, it only cares for corporations to make quick and easy bucks off our works.

So please, look into this, spring to action, and SHARE IT, so more people can learn about it!
It's not the first time that they tried to wiggle this law through, it's time to oppose and stop it again and claim our rights as they are! --

I know this site allows adult sexual stuff on here, but why is there Five Nights at Freddy's content like that in existence in the first place?! I mean come on. It's a horror/action game that le very basic, but a great game to play and the art I'm seeing on here is making it look bad for people who never heard of it till they see what's on here.

Maybe I'm taking this out of proportion(reffering to rule 34 on the Internet), but about half of it goes beyond the borderline of what's okay in society or not(as in what's ok and not okay to do to a person). You know in the game(if you played the game or saw lets play videos of it) if you let your guard down or run out of power too soon, they get you and stuff you in a Freddy suit. Killing you in the process. Well what people are drawing on here(and possibly other sites that I'm not aware of) is depicting sexual assault/rape on the victim in full detail when the animateletronics get them...

Turning my view on SFW mode so I don't see it is not the point of this. The point is people are basically drawing full rape on a great game and that's making it look very bad(in my opinion) for the game and it's fan base in general. >_>

In process of some drawings. Some are in planning still while some are in inking/ done inking and waiting to be scanned in and/or digitally colored. The slowness is just been due to work( working on cars for a living can be very energy draining), temperature change drastically (California can have fast changes in temp in just a couple of days!), and one of my cats was sick (but better now! She just needs to gain her weight back).

So I live about 20 minutes from a town called Salinas ( in California btw) and it is one of the most dangerous towns in the US last time I checked, but this is not about that. It's about common sence ( or lack of it in this town).

Well to set the scene of what happen there were two recent actions that caused the Hispanic community upset at the cops. The first one was about two weeks ago when a drunk man was waving a knife dangerously at people and when the cops showed up he waved at the cops too, very dangerously and started running away still waving it. Then a cop shoots him to stop him in self defence and protect the public. Everyone thinks the cop was in the right besides the Hispanics because: the cop and drunk were Hispanic.

Second one happen this Tuesday. A man (Hispanic) carries heage clippers in public and when asked to drop them by the cops, the guy waves it at them open dangerously close. About close enough to stab them. So after trying to taze him (which fail), shoots him in self defence and safty for public.

So then there was a riot because of those actions by the police last night (in the hundreds) and a shooter decides to shoot someone in the riot and a cop treys to help the fallen victim and give him CPR. What does the rioting people do? They throw rocks and bottles at the cop that is trying to save this persons life, injuring him, and the paramedics having to go through the crowd to him to give him CPR in their ampilance.

Well that person lost their life today, which I felt if the crowd didn't do what they did and backed away so more help came for that person they would be alive today. I'm not being racist (most of the crowd was Hispanic and the community over there) or just looking at the cops side of the actions before the riot. I just feel like most of the people in salinas are stupid and have no common sence at all and a life was lost to it...

So trying to submit some doodles I did from work from my phone since the panorama I did went through fine and now it's flipping them sideways :T

Any ideas to prevent this or it just be better to do it from pc?

In other news I've been engaged with someone special(had a new girl friend since July last year, btw. Need to update journal more often lol). So I'll be married soonish. ^^

And also I'm in a pickle nows. Very low on money and don't have enought money for rent and gas for two velichles, so I'll be asking my boss on tues to see if I can get my vacation money ahead so I can manage it a lot easier, but since they are the very tight kind I'm thinking of trying to do the commission thing out to see how that goes since never did it before and time wise only gonna do quick B&W line drawings for it. So it gonna be very cheap ^^;;;;
