Posted a year agoHey all! FA is back, thank goodness! I look forward to posting here as long as I'm able. However, I am also trying my best to make sure I can keep in contact with folks across a multitude of different sites; as such, I have been hard at work getting a discord server up and running. Commissions Open 6/1!
Posted a year agoHey all, very exciting update that I know at least a handful of you have been waiting for. I managed to wrastle down my digital art queue and am opening for new work. This update has been in the works for quite some time as I both worked through my backlog of owed work and have been updating things on the backend so that wait times are shorter moving forward. So! As of tomorrow, the 1st of June, I am opening up for commissions!

I'm getting close to clearing my queue entirely, after needing to take on work consistently each con that feels really good. Naturally, I hope to reopen for work soon, but given how splintered my audience is with the advent of twitter/x going the way it has, I'm unsure both:
a) is there interest in commissions? If so, what kind of work? Are you wanting sketches, illustrations, more streams again?
b) I'm considering starting an art discord so I can more easily reach a centralized audience, as well as host things like casual work streams. If I did, would there be interest in joining such a thing?

F2 'At-Con' Commissions, Prints and More [OPEN]
Posted 4 years agoHey folks! This weekend Fur Squared is hosting their virtual convention over discord/youtube. This is (usually) my home convention so this year I figured I'd stream over the weekend (wrist allowing) and take some at-con commissions, which are a slight variation on my usual in-stream offerings. Since these are taken at con, they'll be available to claim in the digital space the convention has provided on discord where you can also watch the stream as you would typically over picarto.

There's been some issues with the old host I was using to sell bases (chec) and lots of errors were preventing people from accessing the bases, or the site would take payment and not provide files etc. It's been a long time coming, but I finally moved my base sales over to gumroad, so there should hopefully be no more wonky tech issues going on there when people buy.

I kind of fell out of the saddle due to a long roadtrip (not for leisure, to get someone who didn't drive out to college halfway across the country), pandemic stuff, and mental health but I think I'm finally climbing back out of that hole. Help With Art Theft?
Posted 5 years agoHey guys! I recently started up a DA mid-pandemic so I could shop for adoptables (sort of like digital thrift shopping!) and... Oddly enough, came across a person trying to sell my art. They had completely edited out my watermarks. They took it down when I requested, but their gallery is full of other art that that probably isn't theirs.
I'm not wanting anyone to ream them for this but I do think it's probably best their account get shut down, since all the art is of clearly different styles and therefore, likely also stolen from different artists. I'm curious if y'all can help me ID any of the other stolen pieces so I/we can submit DMCA takedowns.
Pretty sure FA still doesn't allow 'callout' posts so I won't link directly to their gallery unless/until I'm sure I can, but here's a link to the remainder of their 'sales': https://media.discordapp.net/attach.....amp;height=443

No Stream Today
Posted 5 years agoHi folks, just a quick update.
While my computer is back in working order, I've been experiencing some wrist/thumb pain this week which did not go away in time for the stream today like I hoped it would. that being said, I think it's best if I don't stress it out any further with a long work session. I'll be letting it rest until the pain subsides (which will be hard, considering there's lots I'd like to do, and art is both my job and one of my hobbies).
I feel bad having to cancel so close to getting my machine repaired, but I need to make sure I take this sort of thing seriously. I've seen many artists try to push through only to end up with severe chronic pain and/or injuries.
So, fingers crossed that it improves in the next few days, and I can be back to business as normal within the coming week!

Turns out my C drive is having issues and might need to be replaced, it's making photoshop/my whole computer freeze up. Because of this I don't think I'll be able to stream today.
I'll leave the form open in case anyone wants a commission done off stream, but I will no longer be going live today.
