As for why this is happening, I feel like I'm just a screw up no matter what I do or how many wrongs I try to right. My past keeps getting dug up and causing me trouble. Posted 9 years agoIt's been a while since I did an official update on this account.
I'm trying to work on commissions, though it's slow work. There is a lot of drama going on in my personal life right now, I've recently lost my job, and on top of that I have medical issues that are impeding my work. My hope right now is to start completing at least one small commission a day, or at the very least, 3 a week, until my medical condition can be resolved.
I'm going to try to go through my to-do lists tonight and organize and update them. I'd like to find new ways in the future to keep everything organized, so if you have any suggestions at all, please let me know! Any advice is super helpful.

[UPDATE] I'm alive, really.
Posted 10 years agoJust letting people know here that I haven't had internet for the last two months or so, and I'm hoping to finally get our net back some time this week. I haven't been able to work on commissions because of this, and I can only say that I'm -definitely- looking forward to getting back to doing art and getting things done.
I'm so sorry for the wait, it's been pretty hectic on my side but I'll keep you guys posted if anything changes.[UPDATE] Collaboration? Commissioners read!

kavicat was curious as to whether or not my commissioners would be interested in allowing her to collaborate on some of these commissions in an attempt to lighten the load or move things along more quickly. If you're interested, just comment here!

Posted 10 years agoI will not accept, or allow, anyone to harass, attack or verbally abuse me. If you have a problem with me, I would expect you to act like an adult and speak to me in a civilized manner. If you insist on being rude to me, or attacking me for any reason, I will not hesitate to screenshot, block you, and report you to the administration.
There is absolutely no reason, or excuse, that anyone should be disrespectful toward me. There is also no reason for me to allow people to treat me this way. I am more than happy to comply and do what I can to resolve any issue you may have if you contact me with any problem or question you might have. Bashing and trashing me will only serve to have your comments removed, and you permanently blocked and possibly reported to the administration. :\
With that said, I will go ahead and explain again that I have made a set schedule to get artwork completed on a regular basis again. This isn't because of recent events, and moreso because I have already been planning this for a while now since my art block seems to be gone. Going to be working through my queue on a regular schedule, though I'm going to try to go slow to start since I still have cubital tunnel. My good friend kavicat will be helping me to keep track of things, as I'm horrible at keeping my art stuff organized and staying on top of it. I will be trying to complete art on a schedule.
For now I have set it to 2 new commissions, and 1 old commission every week.

Posted 10 years agoFirst off, I'd like to say that I'm very sorry for disappearing.
Ever since we moved into our new place, things have been a little difficult for me to adjust to. It seems like there is some new crisis every week and it's a struggle. I feel like I've been in an art block, it's hard for me to be satisfied with anything I'm attempting to draw, but as of late I've felt a little inspired and I'm hoping that I'll be able to start drawing regularly again.
I'm sorry for being a disappointment, and I know that most of you are getting frustrated with waiting on me. Within the next week I'm hoping to get back to drawing on a normal schedule, as well as updating my to-do list and other various things that need my attention. I wanted to ask my commissioners if they would be interested in allowing fellow artists to help me complete commissions. This isn't something I would usually ask unless I very seriously needed the help. The only reason I'm asking is because my cubital tunnel syndrome isn't getting any better, and I don't really want to have to put things off longer than they need to be.
The fellow artists would be 
keiiba and kavicat
And they would likely just be doing the outlining, coloring or other minor details.

keiiba[UPDATE] Struggling with Cubital Tunnel
Posted 10 years agoJust letting everyone know that I do have cubital tunnel, and sometimes it does act up.
Cubital tunnel is similar to carpal tunnel, except for the fact that cubital tunnel affects the ring and pinky fingers, and goes all the way up through the elbow (whereas carpal tunnel affects the thumb, pointer and middle fingers and goes up through the wrist.)
There isn't much that I can do about this, unfortunately, aside from wearing a brace, taking ibuprofen and remaining inactive until the inflammation goes down. I've been trying to take it easy by drawing only in small amounts very infrequently until the pain goes down.
Hopefully, soon I'll be able to see a doctor about this, but for now this is really all I can do. I hope you understand why my turnout times might be slow or fast depending on how my cubital tunnel is doing.
At this current time, it is acting up quite a bit and I can hardly do much at all before it starts hurting and usually lasts a few days at a time. @___@[UPDATE] Commission Info Needed! + Priorities

I'm really trying to get all this information together so that I can crack down and clear this list up once and for all.
I just wanted to let everyone know that once I move in May, I will be becoming a full-time artist. Which means I'll be dedicating most of my time to artwork and commissions!
I'm planning to start with working at least 1-2 hours a day on commissions, as it is still rather painful to draw due to my cubital tunnel. I'm hoping that if I work on art more frequently, my cubital tunnel will lighten up a bit.
With that said, I'll also be taking commissions more frequently so as to pay for bills and animals. Of course, OLD art is my #1 priority and I'll be doing whatever I can to finish up whatever is on that list.
