Herm is not as slur for trans or intersex people. it's a term used to describe creatures that possess both male and female reproductive organs. if someone is using it to describe trans or intersex people then they're using it wrong. I'm trans MtF but I identify as a herm because that's the gender that best represents my sexuality. I will likely never go through with hormone replacement or a sex change because herms don't exist in humans so there would be no way for me to become one. anybody claiming that herm is a slur is just as stupid as the people who do try to use it as a slur. both parties are using and interpreting the term incorrectly.

I just wanted to talk about why it's so hard for people to get into American comic books.

first of all individual issues of comic books can range from dirt cheap to thousands of dollars. the other problem is that the numbering and naming of a single run of a comic can be completely fucked up. and trying to find all of the issues in trade paperback form can be just as much of a pain since sometimes the issues aren't ordered properly and sometimes they just completely skip issues for no reason and the names of the trade paperbacks can be just as inconsistent as the individual issues.

lets say you wanted to read Ultimate Spider-Man after playing through the recent PS4 Spider-Man game. the order you read them is as follows......

Ultimate Spider-Man #1-133
Ultimate Spider-Man Requiem #1-2
Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #1-15 and #150-160
Ultimate Comics All-New Spider-Man #1-28
Ultimate Spider-Man #200
Miles Morales-Ultimate Spider-Man #1-12
Spider-Man 1-21 and #234-240

this is one single run of a comic. why do all of these have different names? why does the numbering keep jumping around?

and how easy is it to read manga? lets say you wanna read Dragon Ball. the order you read it is as follows.....

are there any Resident Evil games that don't use the Resident Evil title? I'm already familiar with Dino Crisis and Onimusha but are there other games like that? games that play exactly like Resident Evil but are part of a different franchise?

discover someone you've never talked to is blocking you. someone I watch here on FA posted a journal saying they were moving accounts so logically I click the journal and then click the +Watch button on their new account only to find that they're blocking me. as far as I know I've never talked to this person or had any contact beside watching their old account. and this isn't the first time this has happened. it's strange.

blocking your fans that promote your content on social media by sharing/reblogging/retweeting your content to their pages never helps you. blocking them simply prevents them from promoting your content on their pages which means less people find your content. you get noticed on social media by people sharing/reblogging/retweeting your content so blocking people who do that hurts you, not them.
