Hey look, I get to do one of these things again! Also, despite the subtext, BLFC 2015 was just as amazing as it was last year, definitely still a favorite. Here I'll spew out just about everything that is worth mentioning, that I can remember. XP Read through it if you like! It might get long. XP

Thursday

Driving day! Crazy long driving day. XP Left the house before 7am with  halon, picked up  greaseyote, then drove alllll the way to  thehuntingwolf's house to switch to a much more comfortable SUV! Then the actual drive began! There was much napping, silly joking, passing on one-lane highways, farting, and other nonsense to keep us entertained. And snow! It actually snowed quite a bit harder than last year it seemed, to the point where there was a risk of us being stopped at a checkpoint for chains. XP But fuck that! Didn't happen! Was nice to see the snow again though. Aaaanyway, we stopped at the bakery in Bishop that apparently all furries stop at for some reason. I guess they have good sandwiches. I got a little pizza because that shit's delicious. Fuck your sprout sandwiches. Aaaanywayx2, we eventually got to the con at like 6pm! Just in time for reg because we're cool like that! My phone was dead! Couldn't meet up with room people, so chilled in Halon's room for a bit while my phone charged and things got situated.  hogwash-husky and  skailemur were there too! Eventually got my stuff, got phone charged, then met up with  reograyfox to get to my actual room! 2041! Woah!  soboku was already there and so was the mystery person:  vitaislade! Set my stuff down and decided to go and brave the con prereg line. XP Turns out it wasn't so bad! There was like nobody in the prereg line, and since my last name is near the bottom of the list, I didn't have to wait long. XP Then I immediately met up with  elephantine,  gazpacho, and  kumagoroshi! They were about to have dinner, so I tagged along! We met up with another group and headed to Johnny Rocket's! So much tasty food! Not much happening on the first night, so we hung out around the casino for a little bit. I played some adorable box game on Port's 3DS! Then we just headed up to their room for more hanging out! One of them brought up a DC Universe deck building game. Not everyone in the room could play, so I just watched them play. Looked interesting! I want to play more board games. XP It took quite a bit longer than expected, and it was kind of late after that. I was running on 4 hours of sleep, plus the long car ride, soooo I figured it wouldn't be too bad to turn in for the night.

Friday

Soooo, I had the same problem this year at the con that I had last year, which was terrible phone service down on the con floor. It seemed a little bit better, with some spots I could actually get a signal, but overall it was very difficult to keep in contact with people once I went down there. XP So! Finding someone for food was preeeetty difficult. XP I guess it was also kind of late. Decided to attend opening ceremonies because I was there. Was preeeetty funny. X3 Walked around the con space for a little while until I bumped into  kulkun! He was willing to get food with me! Johnny Rocket's again because it's right there! Then we decided to go to the Dealers Den because I'm always terrible about going in there before the last day of the con! That room was so big! So many artists! I needed a badge! Like usual. X3 Eventually decided on  mitti, who was doing artist freedom badges! I love the creativity in stuff like that, so I grabbed one! After that it was time to suit up for the first time at the con! Time to be all fuzzy and cute. And I diiiiid! Was the start of an unintentional marathon. X3 Lots of walking around the con space, chatting with people, having pictures taken, and overall just acting cute! Another fursuiter even gave me a rose! I used it as a prop for the rest of the day and tried to be even more cute with it, holding it in my mouth and offering it to people. X3 Unfortunately I lost it at the end of the day. D: The Dealers Den had a "fun zone" in the center of the room, so I messed around with the stuff in there for a bit! Lots of blocks and dice and balls! More photos! I was also stopped by con staff. They asked if I wanted to pledge my loyalty to Biggest Little Brother. I agreed, they tossed a can on the floor and told me to pick it up, I did so, and they gave me my fursuit collar! They were the fursuit tags of this con. Speaking of, the theme of the con was totally awesome. XP I loved seeing all the propaganda posters plastered everywhere, and seeing them slowly degrade through the course of the con. Anyway! I was suiting for a while, and I wanted to check out the inappropriate fursuit games later in the evening, so I thought I might take a little break, buuuut there was a fucking line to get on the elevators. XP Sooo, I said fuck that and just walked around some more and waited it out. Marathon! The games finally started! I stayed out of the first game because I thought it was musical chairs or something. XP Turns out it was a game where everyone answered a yes or no question, and if they answered yes, then they shift one seat to the left, even if it's occupied. XP Lots of lap sitting! The winner was the first person to make it all the way around back into their original seat. I missed out! The second game was Stick! A baseball bat was tied around our waists and the bat was left to dangle between our legs. XP We had to hit a ball with just the bat across the floor to the next teammate. I kicked ass because the crotch of my suit is super low. XP Cheating! The third game was silly. XP We lined up and each person was given a balloon. The person in front of them had to bend over a chair, and the person with the balloon had to pop it by thrusting against it while it was pressed against the other fursuiter's butt. XP Did it on the first try! Maybe more cheating. I dunno. The last game was suggestive charades, which I didn't even get to participate in. XP Kind of a bummer because there was apparently a grey fursuit photoshoot happening and I missed it because I stayed at the games. Oh well! After the games I realized that I hadn't eaten anything! Whoops! So much fursuiting! It was pretty late, and I didn't expect anything to be open or anyone to want to get food with me. XP Decaf messaged me though! And the cafe on the casino floor was actually open. XP So we went there! Tasty food! Too much food! Buuuut my room had a microwave, so I totally boxed that shit up. Breakfast without having to worry about other people! Woo! After that I met up with  artide in the board games room. He was with a few other friends and we all played the game Room Party, which I had never played before! Was a lot of fun! Also the music coming from the dance was suuuuper bassy. Like crazy bass. I forgot how much I loved that. Rattle my bones! But it was pretty late after the game, so decided to just head back up to my room and hit it!

Saturday

Stayed in bed too late because the stupid curtains make it seem like eternal night in the room! Oh well, like I said, didn't have to worry about breakfast plans! Ate my sandwich and headed down to the con space. My first stop always seems to be the video game room to see if I notice anybody. XP But I'm glad I went this time because they were apparently about to hold a Super Smash Brothers tournament! And sign ups were still open! Hell yeah! was there too! And we had terrible luck and ended up going against each other in the first round like always! I'm sorry! But yeah, there were actually quite a few good players playing this year, it was loads of fun. I have to say that my semi-final match was the most exciting. XP Super close game, went up the fifth round. The final round was me against though, and he plays a totally awesome Captain Falcon. XP I lost! But it was still totally fun overall and I'm glad I was able to participate! They said I was going to get a prize, but I never got it. XP Oh well, I wasn't really expecting to win anything anyway. Was just for fun! After that I went back to the Dealers Den and bumped into ! We hung out for a little while before I got into fursuit again for the fursuit parade! Oh my gooood, I always forget how immediately hot it gets with so many fursuiters piled into one room. XP Thankfully part of the parade was outside where it was super cool and windy. Was fun though! After that was the fursuit dance competition! I watched it in fursuit! There were quite a few nice dances. X3 With the dances over it was party time! Finally! I've been sober this entire con and it was crazy. XP Soboku offered me a rum and coke to start off, theeen I headed to the party! That blue drink was soooo tasty! And I had like three of them. Toasted! That was a really good time. X3 Unfortunately, I didn't eat again. XP Aaaand I was starting to get hungry even after drinking, which was suuuuper draining on fun. Decided to go down and get a little pizza to munch on. Was actually pretty tasty. X3 Was a lot more pizza than I thought though, which kind of killed my drive to keep on drinking and sobered me up a bit. XP I sipped on a final cup at the party, buuuut that was about it for the party. Bleh. Definitely a good time though. Headed back to my room once the party died down a bit to see if anyone was up to anything, buuuut nobody got back to me. XP Combination of booze and not doing anything was making me pass out, so I decided to just crash after that.

Sunday

Woke up without a hangover! So good at this! was telling me about how was taking daily commissions, but they filled up fast so had to be at the Dealers Den early! So that was my first stop! Got that form filled out! So excited! Apparently it was mimosa time and everyone was at the buffet. XP I thought the line was too long, so I went to the cafe with Grease instead. After that I hung around with Blaidd some more until the actual fursuit games! Missed the first game, which was just tossing giant dice around. The second game was a sort of ring toss into baskets, which I failed at. D: After that was a tug of war, which seemed like a really silly idea since the last con to have a tug of war snapped the rope in two seconds. XP This rope lasted six seconds. Hurt pretty bad, but I feel really bad for the people at the center who got some really bad whiplash, even in fursuit. The game after that was dodge ball, which I always fail at because giant hips and tail. XP Oh welllll. Couldn't stay for the remaining games because the Dealers Den was closing and I needed to pick up my badges! I did it in fursuit like a weirdo. XP Followed Ryka and around and up to Ryka's room for hanging out! There was a lot of booze, but nothing to drink it with! We all did little photoshoots instead, Chubs taking the pictures! I thought mine were really cute. X3 Missed closing ceremonies, but it was food time after that! Johnny Rocket's for the last time! Milkshakes were required! Soooo tasty! The plan after that was booze and then fursuit, buuuut we still couldn't find anything to mix with the booze, especially since everything was starting to close. So we just decided to head down to the dance in suit instead. Was the first dance I attended at the con, surprisingly. XP Been a long time since I danced. X3 Was really tiring, but fun! I even spun poi for a little bit, even though I felt terrible and out of practice, especially in fursuit. XP Oh well! I hope it was entertaining kind of! I had a lot of fun, but then I was suuuuper gross. The plan was to find booze after, buuuut everything got quiet again after the dance. XP I guess it was kind of sort of late, and getting up earlyish on the last day to sort everything out usually isn't a bad idea, so just chilled in the room for a bit before passing out for the night.

Monday

Not much happened on this day, obviously! Leaving day! Said good-byes and packed everything up without a hitch, met up with Halon, Hunting, and Grease, and got everything ready to go. Ate "breakfast" at In'n'Out with some other locals driving down before starting the long trek down! No snow this time, so seemed a lot more manageable overall. XP And we didn't go crazy!
Overall I had a total blast with this con, just like last year! It's totally awesome that it's close enough for me to be able to see a lot of local friends, but large enough that people not so local come to it too and I get to see them! Which my phone would work better at the convention, but it was not unbearable. XP

Kiiiiind of feeling around to see if anyone has or knows of room space for an otter going to BLFC this year. At this point I honestly don't expect much more than floor space, and I'm used to it. Fuuuck, the years are going by! Really didn't feel that long ago when I picked up my fursuit last year, heh. X3

But yes, another year down for this otter. 25 years ollllld. I have to remind myself because I honestly don't feel that different. XP Miiight as well still be younger! Oh well. X3

I get to spend most of my birthday working on school stuff because this is my last semester before graduating. XP Yaaaay. Ehh, the exact date isn't that important anyway, it's always the thought that counts, in my mind. :3

Looking forward to stuffing my face in a few days as well. The pumpkin pie will be mine. All mine. Except I'll probably only be able to stomach one slice. That shit's filling.

Prooobably should have made a journal for this sooner, and I apologize for that. If you couldn't already guess, classes have started once again, and this being(hopefully) my last semester before graduation, it's a bit of a doozy. I still want to draw though, and I still am drawing, just at a much slower pace right now.

Haven't gotten any complaints yet so people have either forgotten or don't care. X3 Either way, please bare with me, still working through them. I appreciate everyone's patience. :3 There are a few people left on the list, though some have duplicate slots. Almost done. X3

As for future commissions, I have seen a bit of interest, so I will most likely open again shortly after finishing this batch and just continue to work on stuff between class as often as I can and as much as there is stuff to work on, heh. Hey, guys! I'm back in San Diego so it's time to bump off that other journal with some updates.

First of all, had a wonderful time with  randallrenierd in Arizona, even though it was hooooot. Oh my gosh. X3 But yes, was really nice getting to spend time with him and just relax. Looking forward to more in the future. :3

Anyway, there's a reason I decided to make an entirely new journal instead of just removing the other one. Been thinking about it for a while and been getting feedback from a few friends, and as such I'm going to make an announcement.

When I first started my Iron Artist, I set the price to $5 because it was the first time I had used my tablet for a drawing from start to finish(I usually sketch on paper first and then scan), and I didn't know how good the quality of them would be as a "quick" drawing. Once I became more comfortable though, I started progressively putting more effort into each one because I really liked the results, which you may or may not have noticed. As such, with the time I now put into these, I'm not sure if $5 is an entirely fair price anymore. However, instead of "downgrading" the quality, I figure a slight price raise would be more fair since I want to continue drawing this way and improving. I hope you all understand.

Now, I'm not going to suddenly change the prices now, and certainly not going to ask anyone who has already paid to pay me more. Instead, I've decided to allow 10 more slots to go for the original price, in case anyone has been thinking about getting one but hasn't spoken up just yet. As those 10 slots are filled, I'll close this batch until I'm completely caught up, then eventually post another journal with new slots and the updated price.

As for the updated price, I was thinking somewhere around $7-$10 instead of only $5. What do you guys think? Would love some feedback.

Friday

Since Califur is kinda close-ish, we opted to just leave a bit early in the morning on Friday. Was just  tiberiuswolf,  opturk, and me in the car, though my fursuit box made it snug anyway! Yay! Once we got there, the lines were already crazy! Tiberius went to check into the hotel, leaving Turk and me to register. TOOK FOREVER. The regular reg line was shorter than the pre-reg line, but we hardly moved at all. It was great.  richterlocke was around to keep us company though. Also got to meet up with  tyrantwolf and his friend Zarko! And  strikercue12 too! He was kinda sorta crashing in our room for a little bit, so he hung out afterwards anyway. So wasn't toooo boring in line. X3 The long wait in line meant that our room was pretty much set once we finished though, so after that we moved our stuff inside and settled down. I was hungry as balls! Soooo, it was time to hit up Wahoo's again! We pretty much always eat there because it's close and delicious and oh my god burritos. Walked there, had delicious burrito that made me fat, talked a bit, then waddled back! It was fursuiting time! Turk wanted to test out his new fursuit that he made, so we got on that right away. We also thought that sign ups for the pet auction would have already started, but nooope, they weren't for another few hours. That's fine! We just meandered around the con space in fursuit, acting totally adorable for people. My favorite thing. X3 Then it was time to sign up! And we made a huge mistake! There was a fucking line. XP And they were only taking 20 slots. Had no idea so many people wanted to participate.  bluewolf01 found me in his new fursuit already near the front of the line. Apparently a single slot could be taken up by a group of fursuiters, so Frozen thought it would be cute to have two fursuiters of the same maker partner up for the auction. Unfortunately, that left Turk out of the equation. :c Felt a bit bad after the fact. I'm sorry! Anyway, met up with  rykahuskypup, since he was in the auction too, and waited for our turn to go up on stage. I haven't been on any form of stage in a loooong time. XP It was pretty trippy. Tried our best to act cute, but the energy in the room was pretty lacking! Turk even stepped in to crank up the price a little. XP $40! Better than nothing, and I still think it's pretty cool that it's all for charity. Uhh, unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the person who bought us, but he also bought another group of fursuiters, which meant I also got to meet  thursday2u,  shadowdragon13, and  incrediblecrocodile! What things did we get up to that night, you ask? Well, truth be told it was incredibly tame. X3 Not that that is a bad thing. We went and sat together out on the patio, next to a bunch of super drunk hotel-goers, it was pretty hilarious, and mostly chatted for a good portion of the night. Tried some word games, didn't last too long. X3 "Master" ordered a bunch of chips and fries for everyone to snack on, so I got to eat fries in fursuit! That was definitely interesting, haha. We were mostly biding time until the dance, so once that started we moved over there instead. I seriously love going to the dances. X3 Got to shake my tail off for a bit there! Eventually everyone present formed a big circle around the room and a few people alternated dancing in the center, it was seriously fun! "Master" then came up and said that he was done for the night, so pretty much everyone in the group dispersed after that. I danced for a little bit longer, enjoying the music, kinda waiting to see if anyone I knew would show up. X3 Once everyone I knew left the dance, I decided to head off myself. Been fursuiting all day anyway! Headed up to the room and worked on desuiting, texting people to see what's up.  snowdog1717 had arrived that night, so he was with Tiberius, and they were with Tyrant and Zarko in their room. I headed over there next! Found everyone huddled around playing Cards Against Humanity! XD  howee was there too! Was not expecting that at all. XP Turk wasn't though, so I texted his butt to see what was up. He showed up a little later and we both joined in the game and drank a little. X3 It was loads of fun, as per usual. After the game, it wasn't toooo late, so Turk, Tyrant, Zarko, and I headed down to see what was playing at the dance. The music was way better than before, but there was pretty much nobody there. XP We wandered a little bit instead, bumping into Striker again before he was heading home. We hung out around the drawing board, where a bunch of sticky notes were in place for people to draw and put notes or whatever. So, naturally, we all added our own little tags to it! XD We each pretty much drew ourselves and stuck them on there. X3 Wonder how many people saw! Also saw the sneakily placed Super Smash Brothers Brawl signups on that board! XP Didn't even know that was there until I saw it, so I'm glad I did. Signed myself up and Frozen came over to sign up as well. Chatted for a bit after that, then realized that it was getting a little late and Tiberius was probably already asleep... And I wanted to brush my stuff out. XP So Turk and I decided to head back up to find that that was true, so I had to stealthily brush my stuff. Oh well. Sleep time after that! Never complain about having a bed at a convention. XP

Saturday

Got up with enough time to get ready for the day before the Brawl tournament, then headed down! It was the same as last year, unfortunately, being a free-for-all tournament. XP Aaand just my luck, I got Howee in my first group! XD It was kinda close, I guess, but that's easy to say in a free-for-all. I lost! But it was still fun. X3 ALSO. We were free to use the room afterwards for a little bit, so we flagged down Howee for the one-on-one match I'd been waiting for! Though I played against  simboku and a few others first. Then it was Howee! And I still lost! Surprise! Haha, lost even harder than in the tournament. XD Left him with two stocks, which I suppose is better than three. He's seriously good as Marth, got spacing and timing down like crazy. Made me realize just how slow R.O.B. can be. XP So stop complaining! Was still a lot of fun though, just wish I could stay for more. It was definitely food time though, and I didn't want to hog the station. More Wahoo's! Tasty burrito get inside me. Then it was time for another day of fursuiting with all the events going on! First was the fursuit photo, where I got to meet up with  sexybuizel and see his new fursuit! We wanted to form a little otter train in the photo and parade, buuut it was a total mess inside that room. XP No such luck, but we had our otter trio anyway! Turk and I were in the very back of the group, sooo I have no idea if I can even be seen. XD Whatever. Got to see 's new fursuit too! Way too adorable! Then it was parade time! Half of which was outside in the sun! Yay! We get inside, walk through the dealer's den, theeen... it just stopped outside the side entrance to the hotel? Like seriously, Turk and I got there and there was a bunch of fursuiters just hanging out not walking anymore. Organization! Alright, I guess. We doubled back in order to figure out where the fursuit games were supposed to be held, but as you can imagine, the hotel was incredibly crowded now. XP Like wading through traffic! Then we found out it was out in the middle of nowhere on the opposite side of the hotel. Coooool. We get there and find out that the room needs to be cleared out of tables and chairs. XP Moooore waiting! Eventually everything got settled and we were ready for the games! The first game was musical chairs, of course. XP I lost during the first round, getting caught right between two chairs, falling between them. X3 Turk lasted a lot longer though! Representing otters, heh. The next game was Simon Says, but with the inputs coming from the audience. Nothing can go wrong with that, right? Game barely started and people had us waving our arms, hopping on one leg, and spinning in a circle all at the same time. I thought I was gonna die. Even had to switch legs after a while. XP Bunch of crazy suggestions happened after that, including glomping a grey fursuiter. HMMM! First time I was the center of a furpile. >.> Was interesting. I got out when someone said to hug your tail and I spaced out because I love hugging my tail. It's too cute! Game ended shortly after that anyway. The next game was Red Light-Green Light, though with the added rule that "green light" was when wasn't looking at the group and "red light" was when he turned his head to face us. This completely threw me off. XD Like, he'd turn his head and I'd always wait for him to say something. Even when he started running around the room I failed pretty hardcore overall. X3 Oh well. The last game was Sharks and Minnows. I managed to last one round before I was shoved into one of the sharks while trying to "dance" with him. XP I was a shark then! I tried to grab someone, got a pretty good hold and took them down unintentionally. Then the super fun started! I guess someone tried to jump over me? I dunno, but I swear someone like kneed or kicked me in the head, rattling me pretty good. XP Needless to say, I was glad the game was pretty much over after that, I was super tired. Also needed to... Dry off a bit. >.> So it was time to stand in front of the fans in the headless lounge for a bit. The next course of action we decided on? Booze! Didn't get to do that on Friday, so it was definitely drinking time. And we had plenty of time to hit it up before the dance started. Sooo, that's what we did. All night. Dranking. Got really wiggly and happy, then put our fursuits back on and headed down to the dance, this time with my poi. X3 Bounced around like a retard for a bit and got really tired really fast. XD I tried to spin poi for a little bit, but I was seriously fading, and I admittedly haven't spun in a while. Felt like it was pretty lacking, but I still had a lot of fun. Music was totally awesome, loved the DJ at the time. To take a breather, we meandered a bit and hung out in the headless lounge. Saturday is the big night and we weren't really tired, so we decided to stay up a bit more. Walked back and forth a bit more, acted cute for the late night stragglers. Then the bass in the dance got super crazy. XD So much so that we HAD to go back and check it out. There weren't a lot of people left that late, but Turk and I stood in front of the speaker and let the bass rattle our bones. Oh gosh it was good. Was also silly fun to just kinda spazz in front of the speaker like it was shaking my body. X3 Eventually we decided that the night was dead enough to head back up to the room and prepare shit like the night before. Then sleeeep time.

Sunday

Last day! Had to check out, so we needed to clean up all of our stuff and get it into the car. Unfortunately, this meant packing all of our stuff and not being able to fursuit today. XP No! Bleeeh. But yeah, did that and got foooood. Then this gave us the perfect excuse to look through the dealer's den, since I hadn't been doing that at all while fursuiting the entire con. XP Got to see a bunch of awesome art that I wanted but couldn't afford! was doing amazing "ghetto badges" for a dollar, so I definitely needed one of those. XD Snatched one of those up, then Turk found an awesome artist doing adorable badges, , and we kinda sorta unintentionally got matching badges? XD Hahaha, totally love them though. ALSO. wanted to get a Game Grumps type picture with me, so we thought would be awesome for that! Gonna be getting that sketch done soonish. X3 Looking forward to seeing the silliness. Oh! I was also totally surprised to see there while we were just randomly walking around! Aahhh, made me smile like a doof, since I knew she'd been wanting to check out the con and it had been a while since I last saw her! That was great. X3 A little time after that was the dance competition! The timing for this was very interesting, having it be one of the last events of the convention, but I'm totally glad I was able to watch. Watching all the fursuiters dance is actually really neat, heh. Aaaand that was pretty much it! No fursuit and no major events left meant that the day kinda died after that. Ride wanted to leave before traffic got crazy, so we decided to just get out of there instead of staying for the dance, though I would not have been opposed to staying for that. X3 But alas! Drive home! Con over! Too short! All the fursuiters running around made me jealous! Ahhhh! X3

And that's about all the I can remember and thought was worth mentioning! Overall it was still a total blast and I'm glad I could go to it. I'm just glad to have an excuse to see friends and fursuit, honestly. X3
