There are 31 slots available in this batch of kink focused stories, which will be written throughout October and also posted once a day as the month goes on! :3
To claim either one or two story slots (max two per person so a bunch of different folks have the opportunity to take part), reply to this journal with whether you'd like one or two stories, then you can note me with the kink(s) from the list below that you'd like your story/each of your stories to feature, alongside your choice of characters and a simple plot (something you can describe in a couple of sentences at most) that highlights the kink you chose.
Though there are 31 different kinks to choose from, you can pick the same kink as other people, so don't worry about the one kink you want being taken by someone else.
Each short story will be around 2000 words in length when complete, and will cost £25gbp (a £10 discount on my normal price for a short story)! Payment will be taken up front via paypal once the details of your idea/ideas have been confirmed. Please try to get in touch with your story ideas as promptly as is conveniently possible after claiming your slot(s) to aid my organisation, thank you! :3

Hey Jeeves, what the heck is Kinktober??
Kinktober is one of my favourite themed commission batches to work on! It's where I write a story for each day in October, posting them throughout the month, each of which is themed around one particular kink. You can see the list of kinks I've made available for this year's Kinktober batch at the end of this journal!
Kinktober originally started as a play on the art challenge of "Inktober", but now it's just an excuse for me to write a bunch of short and specifically kink focused stories for y'all. <3 If you want to see what I wrote for some previous kinktobers, you can find them in folders divided by year in my gallery (note that right now there's a slight bug with the formatting of .txt files on the FA mobile site, so you'll have to set your browser to view FA in desktop mode to read them properly).
What do I get to pick if I buy a Kinktober story?
Each kinktober commission will be a ~2000 word short story, for £25gbp, a £10 discount on my normal short story commission price of £35gbp.
For that price, you get to pick a kink from the list at the end of the journal (multiple people can pick the same kink, so you don't have to worry about your favourite being nabbed if you aren't slamming the refresh button the second I open for the commission batch), then you can note me with a few characters (2-3 main characters at the most ideally, given that these are short stories) you'd like to feature in the story) and a simple plot that has your chosen kink as its main focus.
And as is always the case with my work, all characters involved in stories that feature any sort of sexual/kinky activity must be fully consenting adults. :)
How many Kinktober stories will you be doing, and how many slots can each person claim?
I'll be doing 31 kinktober stories, one for each day in October. Every commissioner can claim/buy up to TWO kinktober slots, though while multiple different people can pick the same kink, if you're getting two slots I'd prefer if you picked two different kinks, so that way I get to write and share a greater variety of stuff over the course of the month. :3
The kink I want isn't on the list. Can I ask for a different one instead?
Sorry, but no. While I totally appreciate that my list doesn't cover everyone's interests, I tried to get a wide variety of stuff in there while also covering topics I personally enjoy writing about. I also may have just missed it off by accident even if it is something I like writing, but hey, I'm not going anywhere so there'll always be more chances to grab stories based on the stuff you like! <3
I want to get a story but I'm not super comfortable with my favourite kinks being shared online, can I keep my story private?
Unfortunately because the idea of the kinktober challenge is to post a story every day in October, I do need to post all 31. However I'm totally happy to take and post commissions anonymously, so when I open for the main commission batch you can note me rather than responding to the journal directly, and I'll anonymise the name of the commissioner when I write and share the stories. :3

Help me identify a book series for my mum, lmao!

I'm looking to the wisdom of the internet today to track down a book/series of books my mum remembers reading in the 70s or early 80s (so obviously something written contemporary to or before then).
What she remembers: - Reading it around the same time as the Foundation saga by Asimov.
- It takes place in a corporate dystopia of sorts
- Different corporations put drugs in their food and drink products to make their consumers crave THEIR other products specifically. I.e you chew some gum from Corporation A, which makes you crave the soda Corporation A produces, which makes you hungry for a meal Corporation A produces.
That's all there is to go on, which may not be much but the food addiction cycle element feels specific enough to hopefully narrow it down. I tried searching online but most search engines these days are trash, so I'm hoping someone who reads this will be able to give me a real answer. <3

So uhhh FA just added a bunch of new options for uploading stories so they'll actually display rather than making you download the file. Yay.

Turn based RPG update, I beat FF9 today! :o
Posted a month agoThank y'all so much for the amazing number of suggestions I got when I asked for turn based RPG recommendations! I've got a bunch of stuff wishlisted on steam now and when things pop up on sales I'll be sure to grab some of your suggestions. <3
In the meantime I'm playing through some of the turn based RPGs I already own, and first on my list was one I started when I was a teen but never played all the way through, Final Fantasy 9!
It took me almost exactly 40 hours to beat it (I wasn't trying to do it quickly, nor was I going for 100% completion, just exploring/levelling as I was compelled to) and though I will admit to being a little confused and frustrated at times by just how much of the game your party spends fragmented with limited choice/access to many main characters until over 3/4 of the way through the game, I had fun with it overall.
THAT BEING SAID, I cannot BELIEVE they quote the "fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering" speech DIRECTLY from Phantom Menace and seriously use it at the very climax of the game. What an utterly wild choice, bahahahahahahahhh. XD Truly worth playing through just for the indescribable jumpscare I got when those lines were unironically spoken by the final boss.
Freya remains best girl, she deserves a cosy life with her good good amnesia boi. Also Quina, the queer foodie icon we all deserve. <3
Next on my list is a new playthrough of one of my favourite games of all time, Final Fantasy 10. I guarantee I'll be sinking at least a couple of hundred hours into that before I can tear myself away and move onto FFX-2, so that's probably my next few MONTHS of gaming sorted right there. I don't play video games as much as I used to these days, but when I do I find myself increasingly wanting something where I can manage the pace a bit more. In that regard I'm wondering if y'all have any recommendations for turn based RPGs (that is to say, RPGs with turn based combat). I know there are a bunch of other great turn based games out there in other genres (puzzle games, roguelikes/lites, deckbuilders, etc) but really RPGs, and JRPGs more specifically, are what I'm vibing with!
Assume I know about the Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem game series' already, but basically anything else is worth a mention even if you think it's pretty obvious.
Bonus points if it's playable on PC/Steam. <3

I just wanted to share a little journal to let y'all know about my plans for the next couple of months. Originally I think I've mentioned in a place or two that my plan was to have a very light commission month in August, then open for "Kinktober" in, weirdly, September, so I could post them throughout October. Buuut my house needs to have some plumbing work done in September that's gonna take a few days where I just won't be able to work since pipes will be getting re-routed under the floor of my home office. So, I'm gonna be opening for Kinktober at the END of September, rather than the start.
For August, I'm still taking on a lighter workload so I can work around any heat (though as its starting to get darker a little earlier again I can at least work most evenings now). I've already had a few folks approach me for commissions, and including the couple who still have to confirm their ideas and pay (if you read this and you've gotten in touch, don't worry, I'm holding a spot for you. :D) I'm happy with my workload as it is, so I won't be taking on any extra commissions beyond that. I'm also going to be posting the Summer Vacation themed stories I wrote over the last few months in August, which means some days you'll actually get more than one story upload. :o Then for September, since I'm not sure exactly when the plumbing work is gonna happen, I'll keep my workload light again so I can take some days off as needed without delay to anyone's commission work. :)
And after that, like I previously mentioned, it'll be right onto the fun of another themed short story batch with Kinktober. Very excited to write another 31 kink-focused tales for some of y'all when that time rolls around. <3
Outside of writing, I'm still spending a lot of my time reading, though my pace has slowed a little due to the summer heat making it difficult to enjoy my cosy reading nook (it's hard to be cosy when it's 32C ;-;). I treated myself to an early birthday gift of a Kobo Clara BW e-reader last month because there were a couple of hard to find volumes of book-series I wanted that if I'd paid ebay prices for would have cost me more than the cost of the e-reader anyway. I still prefer print books, but the Kobo Clara is very simple and compact in a way I also appreciate, and it does open up the opportunity to read several light novel series I've had my eye on that don't have physical print releases in English at this time, so I'll make good use of it alongside my still growing library of physical books. <3

Posted 2 months agoI fulfilled a childhood dream of mine a couple of days ago by purchasing a toastie maker, the kind that seals the edges so cheese doesn't ooze out everywhere. XD Anyway, it was an amazing purchasing decision and I fully intend to make many, many, MANY toasties in the days/weeks/months to come. So with that in mind, what are your favourite toastie/toasted sandwich/jaffle fillings?
Ones I've tried so far:
- Cheese, pepperoni and pesto.
- Cheese, pickles (like, dill pickle slices) and black pepper.
- Cheese, pastrami and balsamic vinegar.
- Nutella.

Hey folks! My third "Summer Vacation" themed short story commission batch is NOW OPEN! Please leave a comment on this journal if you'd like to claim a slot or two, then note me with your idea(s). I'm super excited to see what tales y'all are looking for me to write for you this time around!
As with the last two batches, fifteen commission slots are available, with a maximum of two slots per person. Unlike the last two though, this batch will initially be open only to folks who have NOT yet gotten a summer vacation story commission in either of the previous two batches. The last two batches both got sold out super quickly, and I know that some folks just weren't able to be around in time to grab a story or two when they were available. Thus, I'm giving this opportunity for people who haven't yet claimed a summer vacation story to get first dibs on one or two slots of their own.
Of course, if after forty eight hours (by 8pm BST on Sunday June 29th) there are any slots still unclaimed, they will become available for anyone to purchase, even if you have gotten a summer vacation story in either/both of the last two batches.
The details of these themed commissions and what you can expect for your ££ are the same as the last two batches; each story will be roughly 2000 words for £25gbp, with you providing characters and a simple prompt/plot that in some way relates to a summer vacation or at least some fun in the heat (or a cool attempt to escape it). <3 For more details, see the FAQ below!

What does the "Summer Vacation" theme mean?
It means that each story should take place during the summer season, and should feature some vacation or holiday aspect to its setting or plot. This could be the characters going to the beach, the local park or pool, a resort, finding themselves in an exotic or naturally beautiful locale, or just relaxing at home enjoying some time off work. Really so long as it incorporates a summery vibe, anything goes. And of course, that should play into any lewd shenanigans that occur! :3
What will I get if I buy a themed commission or two?
Each short story will be roughly 2000 words long! For that, you'll be able to put forward a few main characters (there's no hard limit, but keep it reasonable so the whole story isn't just me introducing 15 characters, haha), choose the setting/location/situation that makes the commission summer vacation themed, and what you'd like those characters to be doing in that situation.
Of course it doesn't 'have' to be lewd if you just want a cute chill beach scene or something, but it's more than welcome to be XXX rated. ^^
Just remember that as these are short stories of around 2000 words, your idea should be able to be summarised fairly quickly/simply, otherwise it's probably too complicated for this sort of short commission. <3
How many commission slots will be available in this themed batch?
I'll be taking on fifteen stories for completion in July. This may be my final Summer Vacation themed batch of 2025, but I'll definitely be doing other themed commission batches as the year goes on (Namely for Kinktober and XXXmas!)
How many slots can each commissioner claim?
It'll be a maximum of two slots per person. Additionally for this batch, only people who have NOT purchased a summer vacation story in either of the last two batches will be able to claim slots initially. If there are still slots available after two days (8pm BST on Sunday June 29th), the remaining slots will be opened up for any repeat clients who'd like to grab another themed piece.
How much do the stories cost, and how can I pay?
Each short story commission will be £25gbp, that's a £10 discount on the usual price I charge for short story commissions as a thanks for taking part in these themed batches, which hopefully by now you know I love to do every few months. :)
Payment will be taken after you have claimed your spot/spots in the batch and we have agreed on the details of your commission, but up-front in full via Paypal before any work begins. As always, I'd appreciate it if you'd try to ensure that you're able to provide the idea and then pay for your commission within 72 hours of the commission batch opening, so I'm not spending a whole week afterwards on admin rather than actually writing for y'all. :D
Are there any limits on what you can write for these stories?
Generally speaking, so long as any stories containing adult content feature characters who are all fully consenting adults (18+), and so long as the vibes are generally positive (I'm not the biggest fan of writing darker, more violent or depressing content), I'm fairly open to writing a lot of different stuff. That being said, I do have a will not/cannot write list you can check by clicking HERE!

For that, you'll be able to put forward a few main characters (there's no hard limit, but keep it reasonable so the whole story isn't just me introducing 15 characters, haha), choose the setting/location/situation that makes the commission summer vacation themed, and what you'd like those characters to be doing in that situation.
Of course it doesn't 'have' to be lewd if you just want a cute chill beach scene or something, but it's more than welcome to be XXX rated. ^^
Just remember that as these are short stories of around 2000 words, your idea should be able to be summarised fairly quickly/simply, otherwise it's probably too complicated for this sort of short commission. <3

If at that point there are still other folks who wanted stories but hadn't been able to grab one, the third batch in July will initially be open only to folks who weren't able to claim a slot in either of the first two batches (though if several days pass and it hasn't filled up, the remaining spots will become available to anyone). :)

I'm cutting it a little shorter than I normally like to with these "announcement date" journals, as I've been partially AFK for the last few days on a little semi-break (I say semi as I was writing while away, just not able to be fully online/on FA due to limited internet), buuuut my second "Summer Vacation" themed short story commission batch will open on Friday May 30th at 8pm BST, with fifteen more summery stories available for completion in June!
As with the last batch, there will be fifteen slots available, with a maximum of two slots per person. If you got slots in the last batch you're welcome to grab one or two stories in this one too, but please bear in mind that assuming the slots in this batch sell out (I was truly amazed by the speed at which my first batch did!) I'll be making the third batch, which I'll take at the end of June for completion in July, initially available only to people who DIDN'T get a slot in either of the first two batches.

On the weird off-chance the site goes down again on Friday evening or is in a different read-only state that means journals aren't functional, anyone who wants a slot or two can contact me via any of my other furry social media presences (telegram, discord, bluesky, email or sofurry, heck even my Patreon if you follow me there!) with your ideas to claim stories, but with all being well, I'll be opening for them here on FA as normal.

It means that each story should take place during the summer season, and should feature some vacation or holiday aspect to its setting or plot. This could be the characters going to the beach, the local park or pool, a resort, finding themselves in an exotic or naturally beautiful locale, or just relaxing at home enjoying some time off work. Really so long as it incorporates a summery vibe, anything goes. And of course, that should play into any lewd shenanigans that occur! :3
What will I get if I buy a themed commission or two?
Each short story will be roughly 2000 words long! For that, you'll be able to put forward a few main characters (there's no hard limit, but keep it reasonable so the whole story isn't just me introducing 15 characters, haha), choose the setting/location/situation that makes the commission summer vacation themed, and what you'd like those characters to be doing in that situation.
Of course it doesn't 'have' to be lewd if you just want a cute chill beach scene or something, but it's more than welcome to be XXX rated. ^^
Just remember that as these are short stories of around 2000 words, your idea should be able to be summarised fairly quickly/simply, otherwise it's probably too complicated for this sort of short commission. <3
How many commission slots will be available in this themed batch?
I'll be taking on fifteen stories for completion in May, then a further fifteen at the end of May for completion in June. If at that point there are still other folks who wanted stories but hadn't been able to grab one, I'll open for a third batch of fifteen for completion in July that only folks who didn't get into either of the first two batches will be able to claim spots in. :)
How many slots can each commissioner claim, and can I reserve one now?
It'll be a maximum of two slots per person, just so there's room for a bunch of different people to grab a story. And no, slots will be open to purchase on Friday May 2nd at 8pm BST, not before. Until then take the time to think about if you'd want a story or two, and what you'd like them to feature. That way when the time rolls around, you'll be able to snag your spot or spots immediately. :3
How much do the stories cost, and how can I pay?
Each short story commission will be £25gbp, that's a £10 discount on the usual price I charge for short story commissions as a thanks for taking part in these themed batches, which hopefully by now you know I love to do every few months. :)
Payment will be taken after you have claimed your spot/spots in the batch and we have agreed on the details of your commission, but up-front in full via Paypal before any work begins. As always, I'd appreciate it if you'd try to ensure that you're able to provide the idea and then pay for your commission within 72 hours of the commission batch opening, so I'm not spending a whole week afterwards on admin rather than actually writing for y'all. :D
Are there any limits on what you can write for these stories?
Generally speaking, so long as any stories containing adult content feature characters who are all fully consenting adults (18+), and so long as the vibes are generally positive (I'm not the biggest fan of writing darker, more violent or depressing content), I'm fairly open to writing a lot of different stuff. That being said, I do have a will not/cannot write list you can check by clicking HERE!

Listening to top 40 pop charts, one year at a time...
Posted 5 months agoTo give myself something new to listen to while out on walks, I've started listening to the UK "Top 40" pop charts by year, starting with 2000 and moving forward. I just finished listening to 2000s top 40 today and... wow, I went into it thinking "I'm gonna know barely any of these, I just wasn't listening to much music at that point" only to be like "Oh, THAT song!! Oh wait, THAT SONG! I know that!!"
High points that still hold up today: Stan by Eminem, Reach by S Club 7, Freestyler by Bomfunk MCs.

My sincere apologies for having gone back and forth on this twice within the span of a few weeks. Earlier this month I announced my plans for my next batch of themed short story commissions, based on the general prompt of "Summer Vacation". Then due to some family stuff that suddenly arose which required my help, I announced the batch was postponed, expecting that the situation would require my time/attention for the rest of the month and possibly into May.
Well, to spare y'all the frustrating details, the situation resolved itself much quicker than expected. Which while very annoying as I changed a bunch of plans under the assumption that it would go on for substantially longer, means I am indeed going to be able to work on these stories throughout next month! Woo!
In a very slight change to my original plan, since I'm gonna give y'all some notice/time to prepare any ideas you might have and open for these commissions on Friday 2nd May at 8pm BST rather than this Friday as I originally expected, I'm only gonna take on 15 stories rather than 20. But I'm also gonna take on a batch of 15 at the end of May for completion in June too! And if at that point there are still folks who wanted a themed story but hadn't got one, I might take on an extra batch in July too, since short stories are a good thing for me to work on in the summer months when my home office starts getting too spicy to be inhabited for the majority of the daylight hours.
Other than that, the details are the same as before, so I'll share the info from the previous journal.

Posted 5 months ago...well, nine. But after all that time, my display name finally reflects my 'sona species again. :D
You'd be amazed how many folks look at the bunny profile pic, the bunny avatar in all my story thumbnails, the bunny ref sheet as my featured gallery piece, and then say "Hi Roo!" to me, lmao. I'm sure some folks knew me before 2016 when I switched 'sonas (thanks Zootopia) and that's why I'm still a kangaroo in their brains, and honestly it doesn't bug me since it's not like I changed fursona because I'd come to dislike my old one, I just found one that I vibed with even more. But yeah, fun to be able to make that small change at last! Woo! :)

Just a few days ago I announced a big commission batch I'd be taking on at the end of this month for completion in May. Due to some unavoidable changes in my schedule this month that could run into May, I'm unlikely to be able to give those stories the time they'd need, so I'm going to postpone the batch for now. Potentially I may do it as a more "ongoing" thing throughout the summer itself, with ten slots in June, July, perhaps some in August too, but for the time being just be fairly certain that I won't be taking on those commissions for completion in May as expected.
Apologies for the confusion/sudden change of plans, but hopefully you understand that the last thing I'd wanna do is take on extra work knowing I might be unable to complete it due to external time constraints. :)
(Also I should add that I'm fine personally, so don't worry about me, it's just unavoidable personal stuff I have to assist other family with)

This batch of twenty short stories will be written throughout May under the theme of Summer Vacation! And given the delightful time I had with all your Alphabet Challenge prompts, I'm once again leaving this theme fairly open ended in terms of its "Rules" so y'all can let your creativity run free!

Alphabet Challenge 2025 posting starts tomorrow!

Just letting y'all know that I'll be posting my recently completed 2025 Alphabet Challenge stories starting tomorrow. I originally planned on starting to post them from March 1st, but since I still had a final chapter of the story series I was in the midst of posting to go I decided to get that posted first. :3
But yeah, for the rest of the month, keep an eye out for 26 lewdly themed short stories once a day! The whole batch was a blast to write with a tonne of wild and wonderful ideas, and I hope there'll be something for everyone by the time its fully posted!

With March just over the horizon, I've got just a couple of spots left in my monthly schedule, so if anyone has been waiting for an opportunity to grab a commission but didn't just want to note me without prompting (which you're welcome to do, FYI. Comment below with the letter (or two letters) you want to claim for your story/stories! Remember, because this is an Alphabet Challenge and I want to hit all 26 letters, only one person can claim an individual letter. But don't worry, if you post and find that your letter/letters have already been claimed, you're welcome to comment again claiming different letters that still might fit your ideas!!
Once you've commented, I'll respond either letting you know to send me a note with your ideas, or I'll let you know if any of your chosen letters are already claimed. :3

What is an Alphabet Challenge?
It's a fun themed commission batch where I write a short story (~2000 words) based around a title/theme starting with each letter of the standard latin alphabet (A-Z). E.g. "A is for Accidental Anal", "B is for Bisexual Beagles", "C is for Clit-play".
How much is each slot, and what do I get for my commission?
Each Alphabet Challenge story slot is £25gbp, a £10 discount on my normal price for a short story commission of the same length. Each commissioner can purchase up to 2 slots/letters, that way more people have a chance to grab a spot. :)
For that price, you'll get to pick your chosen letter/letters, and select a theme/kink based on each letter that will be the central focus of that short story. Then you can provide a simple plot you'd like that story to follow, including characters of your choice. Please try to keep it simple though, it has to be doable in around 2000 words, and the central theme/focus of the story should be represented by your chosen letter/title. :D
What kind of titles should I go for, and what if the letter I had my heart set on has already been chosen?
The great and fun thing about the Alphabet Challenge format is that it's an opportunity to be creative and playful with the central theme. You can choose something simple and direct like "B is for Bondage", but you could just as easily choose "B is for Bountiful Butts" or "B is for Beezilla 2: All Abuzz!" so long as those titles really do reflect the core focus of the story.
If your chosen letter has already been chosen, look at the letters that remain and think about whether you could modify your title to fit one of them. Sure, B is for Bondage would work, but maybe R is for Restrained would too. Or S is for Shibari. Or H is for Handcuffs. Or T is for Tied Up! Alternatively, if your story is going to feature a pre-existing/well known character, you could just as easily make the story "J is for Judy Hopps", or "H is for Hopps", "C is for Carrots", "W is for Wildehopps", etc, haha. :3
Okay, I've claimed my slot(s), what now?
Once I've confirmed that you've grabbed a letter or two, send me a note with the details you'd like for your story. The title/theme, the basic plot, and any references/character details you'd want to feature. After that, once the details have been confirmed, I'll ask for your paypal email address and send over a payment request for your story/stories. Once paid, your stories will be complete by the end of February at the latest (though I'll mostly be working on them in Alphabetical order, so those of you closer to the start of the alphabet should get them sooner, haha).
Extra notes:
As always, please bear in mind that for stories with any adult content in them I only write about fully consenting adult characters, with adults being defined as over 18 years of age regardless of the setting/lore of any fantasy world, or country in our world where the age of legal adulthood may be different.

Additionally, please do your best to get in touch with the ideas for, and to be able to pay for your commission within roughly 72 hours of this journal being posted. Just wanted to remind y'all that next Friday, January 24th at 8pm GMT, I'll be opening for my Alphabet Challenge 2025 story commission batch, where y'all will be able to grab a letter of the alphabet (or two) and have a short story of your choice written on a theme/topic that matches up with your chosen letter(s).
Each slot will be £25gbp for a ~2000 word short story commission, and there will of course be 26 slots available, one for each letter of the latin alphabet! Each person will be able to purchase a maximum of two different letters (two stories) to ensure that plenty of folks have the opportunity to get one, and remember that you can be creative with your themed titles, so if you see the letters you've initially had in mind vanish before you get to them, don't worry! Chances are you'll be able to get something very close to what you want with a different letter instead (i.e. B is for Bondage could also be S is for Shibari, R is for Rope, H is for Handcuffs, R is for Restrained, or even something silly like A is for Accidentally Stuck Head-First in a Washing Machine).
Slots will be first come, first serve, and will only be available to claim when I post my journal about the commissions opening at 8pm next Friday. Please only claim slots if you'll be able to provide your ideas and pay for them within roughly 72 hours of the commission batch opening (payment will be taken in full, up front via paypal payment request once your idea(s) are agreed upon, just so I'm not spending a whole week after that chasing up people so I can actually start work, hahaha. :D
