Long time, no see guys! I've been around... mostly. Just lurking while I keep thinking about freshening up my profile and catching up the backlog of art. Just need to "do" it which is something I always struggle with. Seems I spend more time thinking about doing things than it would take to actually do them. >w< Though most of the art is from several years ago. I've only gotten a handful of new art over the past 3-4 years cause money has been pretty tight and I've been through the ringer emotionally.

Depression, psychotherapy, medication that sort of worked and then didn't, and getting fired from my job of almost 7 years last year because of it. Was denied unemployment, maxed out all of my credit, drained all of what little was in my 401k... almost lost everything. I'm doing much better now. Got a new job. Home every day. Making a decent hourly wage with good benefits and finally chipping away at my immense debt that's been paralyzing me for YEARS. I'm slowly but surely breaking back out of my shell and reaching out to more people. It's lovely to not be so scared to talk to people all the time.

I hope everyone is staying safe and sane with this outbreak. It's crazy seeing everything come to a screeching halt. I remember still going to school and working my job back when H1N1 was a thing. I didn't know just how bad that was until recently when I saw some stats. I had forgotten about it really... I don't think we'll be forgetting this one anytime soon. And we better not.

I haven't been around here much. I'm okay, but this place seems to have become a rabbit hole for me, like many things lately. Looking at over 750 tabs open (mostly FA stuff) in Mozilla that I've been trying to get through, but I keep opening more cause I don't wanna miss anything! XD And I can't just close everything cause there's probably some tabs with important stuff I wanted to hang onto... So to those of you who I have recently watched. Sorry if I didn't fave anything. I would love to go through galleries and fave bomb everything, but it's just not possible. I gotta get this stuff cleared up and I'm trying to do it in a somewhat timely manner. >.<

I've known about Two Kinds way longer than Markiplier. Though I haven't really followed it in a long time (probably 5+ years), so Thomas' name didn't really stick to my memory. And heck I didnt even know Mark's last name until a few months ago when he was talking about his family history. All I knew was that Mark's brother was a furry, and while I wondered who that was, I never bothered to look it up until I saw Two Kinds post in my Twitter feed trying to sell one of their art books and I saw Thomas' last name that I finally made the connection.

My gosh I'm so behind the times. ;w; I'm sure that if I had followed the comic and Markiplier more, that I would have known this by now.

A huge step in the right direction. For those that don't know, I never graduated high school. While I did attend all 4 years, 2 English class credits kept me from getting my diploma. I did well on tests. My weakness however, in all classes, was homework. That held me back too. I took some summer school classes to help make up for it, but it still wasn't enough.

So here I am almost 3 years later. I took the GED and passed, didn't even study for it. I just got the unofficial score report in the mail today. I did more than well too, save for the reading portion of language arts, but even still I did well with that. You need an average score of 450 to pass the test with a minimum of 410 on each test in the battery. My lowest score was 540, with an average of 648, and a total score of 3240!

I can finally move on in life and honestly get a better paying job. I say honestly because some people were telling me to put that I had graduated on job applications when I didn't, and I didn't want to lie about that. I also didn't want to apply saying that I hadn't, lol!

Anyway... *very happy kitty* ^______^

So after 3 days of thinking about it, I threw my patience out the window and bought a new case for my computer since I was getting quite annoyed with my older one. YES I said screw it! :D

First, I will describe what was up with my previous case. The back mounting rail for add-in cards as well as the motherboard IO riser were flush against the back of the case and not recessed into the case. This brings forth the issue of said back mounting rail for the add-in cards sticking out the back. On top of that, the screw used to secure the faceplate over the rail is facing outward instead of inward, which I have gotten cut on a few times while moving my computer around (I take it to friend's places and such). It was getting ugly, heck one of the screws for the front panel was stripped too, made it all loose and stuff.

Also, I did have a larger case before my old one, but it was too big, akward, and a bit..flimsy, kinda like an overinflated water balloon, but that can be expected when it's made mostly out of aluminum and only cost you $60. The side panels for the older case didn't fit properly and were a constant pain to get on and off. I also didn't like some of the sharp edges that resided within the case despite how it touted that all the edges were folded and that you couldn't get cut on anything. Liars. They just want to get your scent...so they can nibble when you sleep. They will find you!! D: Unless you have garlic. >_>;

Anyway, so my previous case, the one I got to replace the one I just described, also had another major issue. And that was cable management. Because I don't have a modular power supply, I have excess (lol) cables that have to go somewhere. Well after I got a new hard drive to replace 4 of my others (which means I now only have one inside my computer, not including the one in the hot swap bay), I could tuck the cables under the hard drive. However, I got cut a few times on the part of the frame that keeps the hard drive lined up with the slot, plus the ends of the power connectors kept getting into the 120mm fan located in the front of my case and kept it from turning.

This lack of space for cables has also lead to the destruction of one of the SATA ports on my motherboard. Which I then had to spend $30 on a SATA/USB 3.0 PCIe card so that I had enough SATA connectors for all my drives. So after having this case for about a year, I decided I wanted something better, sturdier, and more spacious, yet not as monstrously huge @.@ as the case I had before. So I went to Fry's and looked around for one that fit my needs. After a bit I found her down below, felt her up. and being quite satisfied, took her home.

Yep, I spent $90 on a CoolerMaster HAF 922M case. She's beautiful, with all the trimmings just about. Dang near everything I could ever want: Large 200mm fans on the front and top, space around the power supply (yes, it's mounted on the bottom of the case too), room for extra fans, CPU bracket access in the back 5 5.25" drive bays, 5 3.5" hard drive bays, a front peripheral header that includes eSATA, a button for turning the LEDs off and on, on the front fan (oh my, YES!), recessed motherboard IO and headers in the back, plus a vertical bracket that sets above it, and an ingenious, yet simple cable management system. I wish it came with wheels though, like it's bigger brother, the HAF 932. But it's $130 and a little bit nicer too - 200mm fan on the side with a partial glass panel and 6 5.25" bays. But I digress.

Basically, the case has cutouts in it that allow you to run zip ties through them and fasten your cables to the case where they are hidden and out of the way. It also has an access port near the power supply so that all the power cables can go behind the motherboard tray (plus the side panel is abscessed to further accommodate this) and you don't have to worry about power cables being cluttered everywhere. Heck even the 12V motherboard connector has a port at the top of the case where it can come out so you don't have to run it across the board. So it gets hidden too. Underground cable bondage? Apparently so. o.O;;

A few things I will note about this case however, is that the front panel was a tad "bowed" out, which can sometimes make it difficult to get on the case, and the hard drive mounts aren't the easiest to get onto your hard drive, but overall the case is very well built and thought out and its sturdiness gives thanks to thicker gauge steel than your average mid-tower case. It keeps everything nice and cool. My Phenom II quad core is idling at 85*F with a 10% voltage increase and a bit of an older cooler that was first used on my Socket 754 AMD Athlon (single core) back in the day. Copper base and heatpipes, though I know that the CoolerMaster V8 CPU cooler puts this thing to shame. You can't even compare. I'm talking an idle temperature of like 65*F with that thing.

And I'm nerding out and ranting, hehe. I guess that's what happens when kittyboy suddenly realizes that he is dead tired and needs the few hours of rest he can get before work. The drowsiness! It's like beer to me, it makes me goofy and silly!! ...but has no flavor. Hey, I want my money back!! T_T!!!

Over the past several months they've made changes to Killing Floor, many of which, I'm kinda pissed at. Yes they added the Mac 10 for the flamer class and a few new maps, but then they went and tried to "balance" that classes. They cut the maximum amount of ammo you can have for the M14EBR from 14 to 7 and they increased the weight by one. Normally you could carry the M14, dual hand cannons, and dual 9mm pistols, but not anymore. Now you have to choose between dual 9mms and the hand cannons. Not only that, but on Suicidal difficulty, 14 clips of the EBR along with the pistols was BARELY enough ammo to defend a position with in line with your team mates. I was nearly out of ammo after every round, and now they cut my maximum ammo in half? WTF? They also adjusted the headshot damage for the EBR and the Crossbow, decreasing it.

I was playing Killing Floor last night on the new map they released of Santa's workshop along with the new versions of the ZEDs for it. I've got a level 6 sharpshooter, so I've got considerable bonuses for my weapons. Sadly, it looks like they made changes there as well. I reloaded my guns just as fast as any other class that had no bonuses when I should reload extremely fast. Normally I can kill a fleshpound with a headshot on the crossbow, heck even any other class could usually one shot kill an FP with a headshot the last time I played. So it's been a while. But last night when I played, I had to hit the thing 2-3 times in the head with the crossbow to kill it...on normal difficulty. We got our asses kicked on NORMAL DIFFICULTY!!! Back a few months ago I could be online with my level 6 sharpshooter and go the whole game on my own. I practically carried the team (because I always had the highest score and when I died, everyone else died). Really I carried the team no matter what class I had, I was that good at the game. Can't do that anymore and it's pissing me off. I feel like they're trying to do like Left 4 Dead did and make it even more challenging/realistic. Shoot, the game was okay on normal but it really was hell on the suicidal difficulty. And they want to make it harder?!? Seriously, I'm getting annoyed with game developers. They keep messing with the game mechanics. They did it with L4D, they did it with TF2, and that's why I don't play those games hardly at all anymore. It's why I haven't fancied playing Killing Floor lately.

Really, what happened to the games where you could just sit back and have fun and kill zombies? And not have to worry about perfectly balanced classes and whatnot? And whats even more, is that every time they've released new free content for the game it gets messed up big time. When they came out with the Demolition class the game crashed all the time, I had a hard time playing. They finally got that sorted out. They update it for the Christmas update and here we go again. Crashing all the time, lagging, and it's like the perks aren't even working half the time or just partially working...

I'm just really annoyed. Killing Floor is one of my favorite multiplayer games and it's changing in ways I don't like. =(

Now, my religious beliefs sway me to believe that masturbation is simply an act of lusting for flesh (which is kinda a no-no in Christianity), and I've always considered it a negative thing that I'd like to stop doing, especially when it takes up so much of my time and it feels like an addiction (granted I WAS created with "the drive" just like every other guy). The line hasn't really been defined in my broad faith though since the bible doesn't specifically say "NO MASTURBATION FOR HYOOMANS!" or related. ;P There are some of us who believe it's perfectly acceptable to pleasure one's self while others say it's not (which is why I say "kinda") and that it's using your reproductive parts for a purpose for other than what they were meant (sex, making babies, yeah).

I mean from what I can tell from the article there are many species of animals that do it in nature (which I totally didn't realize o.o) so what difference does it make if we do it? Of course, we are civilized creatures...animals do stuff that we find repulsive just to even think about. I think the conflict might be between doing the act itself and what you look at to help stimulate the act (view porn/smut). We think of animals as creatures who act only on the instinct they were born with so they don't know any better to have modesty like us, but also they don't have immense caches of naughty things to get off to either. :P Technically though, we are animals too, right? *meows*

So really I've actually never thought of the concept in the way the article suggests. It's actually quite interesting to think about and it makes sense too that masturbation would benefit the process of procreation in a species. :3 *que Adam* "It's scientific!!" Hehe X3

Haha, I need to get Borderlands back on here, I'm starting to miss Scooter and his personality, lol. I miss the game too, but he stands out in the game more than any other character because of his accent and...somewhat obvious density. It's hilarious.

I've been playing Stalker: Call of Pripyat though...and Call of Duty: Black Ops!

Well I worked today (or should I say yesterday) for nearly 9 hours, most of which was spent cleaning two convection ovens with grill cleaner and green scrubbies...seriously boss, at least set me up with the tools needed to do the job. Some EasyOff and a metal scouring pad would do wonders and cut the job time by more than half. My fingers huuuurrt! It would have taken even longer, but the dish machine operator happened to have a metal scouring pad that she let me use for a bit. Accidentally got some grill cleaner (which is composed of Sodium Hydroxide) in my right eye when it wasn't yet diluted. Stung real bad and for a moment my vision was blurry, but I rinsed it out right away. Flushed it with cool water for a bit and it looks like it'll be okay. No redness or burning, which is good. Yeah, I'm exhausted, it's really late (2AM), and ya know what? I don't hurt anymore! I'm just happy to be here, alive and well! :D Okay, time for sleepies. *mews* Hope everyone sleeps well! *curls up in a ball and dozes off, purring softly on his double stacked air bed* <3
