Yay, I have internets again!
Also, out of the pieces on my gallery, which would you guys be interested/willing to buy as prints? I'm considering going to Morphicon and I'm testing the waters to see if prints would be a good idea. Don't worry about if they're collabs or how old/new they are, I just want to know what people want. I can always go and ask the people involved once I find out what's popular with you fine folks.

So I did move, but our new place doesn't have internet yet. New stuff to be posted once that happens. In the mean time, I'm only in periodically.

Hey guys, I'm fully open for commisisons!
My license plates are still only 25 bucks!
I'll also do digitals like these for $20-$35 (varying by complexity and number of letters you want).
Or if you like real media, I can do small stickers and larger sketchbook paper pieces for $10-$35! (again, varying by complexity and how big of a word you want)
If you're interested, comment here or note me with what you'd like :)

I get a lot of people asking how graffiti writers do what we do. To answer those questions, just watch these short videos.
Just skip Push's video as his is a bad example, though. Ewok and Pose are probably the best general examples.
And before someone asks, no I did not make these.

Because I get a lot of the same questions about graffiti and my art, this is sort of a work-in-progress FAQ, so go ahead and ask me anything you've ever wanted to know. :) Seriously, don't feel like any question is stupid, just ask.

Hey guys, I'm still open for license plate commissions! Still 25 bucks shipping included!

This would be particularly helpful seeing as I had some expensive service done to my car just the other day and could use more money coming in. I'm still searching for a job in the film/video industry so currently I have no income and whatever you guys buy from me helps keep me fed and under a roof. I'll even send free sketches and doodles with the plates to help show my appreciation to you guys :).
Also, this deal for lots of film and theatre books is still very open! CHEAP books, many of which are old, rare or original prints! Some printed as far back as the 50's and still in great condition!

I've written them offering help in the realm of art stuffs. Whodathunk a furry con would actually pick graffiti as a theme? Here's hoping I'm not too late to pitch in.

It's time to get that MFF report off my page.
Anywho, just a quick heads up to people that we ARE still working on the Letters & Ladies graffiti/pinup portfolio. I was slacking pretty bad for a while, but lately I've gotten my ass in gear and I am steadily working on pieces. I bring this up because a few people have approached me in the past couple weeks asking if the folio is still on (since I've been so quiet about it and haven't really had anything new to show the peeps involved up until a couple weeks ago). But for those of you who remember it, yep, it is still in the works. As of now, the tentative release we're aiming for is AC 08.
And for those who don't remember or who are wondering what I'm talking about, back in February I started working on a project I've been wanting to do for some time. Basically, I'm collaborating with a whole slew of artists (and very talented ones IMHO, who I feel honored to work with) to put together a portfolio of pieces combining my graffiti art and their pinup girls. A good example of the style of image I mean would be my featured image on my front page (though that one is not in the folio. Those will stay secret until we start letting teasers out). It'll be PG-PG13 images and as of right now we've got over 20 artists involved. Once we get some stuff finished and ready to start sharing samples, you'll probably start hearing more info and details. Feel free to ask questions, though!
And on a final side note, my birthday is less than a week away on the 8th, woot!

Okay, so here's the deal peeps. As most of you have probably seen, I'm now also offering records like this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/862357/ !
They are $25 plus shipping (because these are obviously much more fragile in the mail than license plates). I am open for commissions on these just like the license plates. As of right now I do NOT have them in stock sitting around my house, however, so I'm unable to say "which would you like?" If there's a genre or era you'd like, when I scour the thrift stores I can aim for that! But I can't promise specific artists for now. If I get a surplus, though, I'll put a list up for people to choose from.
ALSO! SPECIAL DEAL! If you'd like to save on shipping and will be at MFF, I am opening up 2 SLOTS FOR LICENSE PLATES and 2 SLOTS FOR RECORDS to be delivered to you by hand at MFF! The only catch is you (obviously) have to be at MFF, and you've got to give me either your cell phone number, or a way to contact you while at the con OR a specific place and time to meet so I can get you your piece. I'm only opening 4 of those total because I unfortunately don't want to overload myself trying to get too many ready in time. You'll also need to let me know in your commission note that you want one of the slots to deliver it to you by hand at MFF. And as a final note, I'm only going to allow 1 SLOT PER PERSON. So please don't ask for 2 records or 2 plates because that's unfair to others who might want to get a slot.
HOWEVER! If the slots are full and you will be at MFF and have or will commission a plate or record from me, just let me know and I'll try to get it ready in time. But I CANNOT promise you that it will be ready in time. And the same rules apply about giving me a way to contact you while at the con.
So yeah, plates are still $20 plus shipping and are still open to commission and now you can also have spiffy cool painted records too! Get 'em while they're hot!

I've seen some seriously weird and fucked up stuff come from Japan. I've seen it run the gamut from severely mean practical jokes, to fucking crazy game shows, to cartoons that are so wrong you can't stop D:-ing for a week.
And yet, of all the strange things that have emerged from this peculiar island...
this trumps them all: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ke9ziSrWr4A
That is so WTF I'm speechless.

"It's just another job, just another career. When it was young it caused the planet to fear. Now it's a overweight 30-year-old up in a suit with a neck-tie waitin' for the food to get cold. Cuz it can't hunt no more, the teeth too sore. We just numbin' on some money and we askin' for more. We addicted, it used to be an art for sick kids, now it has succumbed to a target market. And I wish hip hop would die like disco and supply a seed for something new to multiply."

So basically I figured it's about time I update with some more information on what's going on with the Graffiti/Pinup Portfolio. If you're wondering what I'm talking about, you can find a detailed summary here:
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/95655/
So a few notes as to what's going on:
-There are still some openings for artists (I haven't heard from a number of people I've noted, but I figure most or all of the people who haven't responded aren't interested, and that's fine). As of right now, there are 16 (maybe 17) artists on board. There are also one or two who are waiting to see if their schedules will be clear enough. I do still intend to cut it off at 24, however, I might be willing to go over if an artist I'm absolutely ga-ga over wants to join in after the cut off *coughEWSDAQcough*. Also, even though this IS an invite-only portfolio, there has been one or two artists who've gotten on board by approaching me to tell me they're interested. I CANNOT guarantee you will get on this way! I'm just not the type to be like "not on the list? Not getting in." I also DO NOT want to hurt anyone's feelings! I hate feeling like a jerk. And sometimes it isn't a slam on art quality so much as style or other factors. I admit I'm partial to certain styles and since this project is my baby, my choices won't be objective. But I don't want people to feel bad because I've turned you down. Just be wary that you're not promised to get aboard if you ask to join.
-There is a livejournal community up and running, but membership is reserved for artists involved only. You can find it here: http://community.livejournal.com/lettersnladies/ . Information and other little things will probably pop up if you want to follow the project more closely as it develops. So people are welcome to come and watch.
-I know it's very early, but I'm tentatively thinking of titling it "Letterwork & Ladies." I will be asking all the artists involved first before we do nail down what to call it, though.
-I still would love feedback from anyone who thinks they might buy this once it's out! If you are interested in purchasing it, let me know and also tell me what you think is a fair price. Remember, all the pictures will only be available through the 'folio.
That's all for now, thank you to everyone who's given input on this or shown interest! I'm very excited to see how quickly this has taken off. :)

---I want to make a graffiti & pinup portfolio.---
This is an idea I've been tossing around and has been suggested to me a few times the past couple years. I'd love to do it and as of now, my life is in the right position to allow me to undertake such a project. Here's what I'm thinking as of now:
-It would be for sale, include between 12 pieces at the least and 24 at the most (depending on the number of artists who want to participate) They would be full color, finished pieces.
-Each artist who participates will recieve a portion of the profits (don't know how it will be split just yet, I will talk to everyone before it's over and nail down the method most fair) and if they want, be given copies to take to cons and such for them to sell and keep whatever money they make there.
-It would be PG to PG 13 rated pinups by other artists together with graffiti pieces by me, collaboration style. Sexy, but tasteful. Nothing worse than what you can see on MTV anymore.
-The images would only be viewable in the portfolio (probably CD format unless there's a strong demand for hardbound) and not available on the web.
-The pieces will probably be digital media, but I am open to a mix of digital and traditional media, or just traditional media for whatever works best for myself and each artist.
-It would be invitation only as I want it to have quality art (though the artist does not need to be well known. If I could expose some hidden talent, that'd be great). I'll be sending some notes out to some initial people I'd like to have on board.
-The theme of each piece can be whatever each artist desires as I want to keep this open and fun. The pieces do not need to be themed around graffiti, by any means! If anything, to avoid having a really repetitive 'folio, I want to avoid them focusing on that. I'd love to see how much variety of themes we can have.
-I would like to have it ready by the end of the summer, but would be willing to spend longer depending on the interest shown. As of right now, the general date I'm leaning towards is early September or late August in time for Further Confusion. This MAY vary over time. Though it will probably NOT move earlier.
EDIT: And We've reached the minimum! I have 12 artists who've accepted the invite! If I've invited you and you're just now reading this, though, please don't feel as though I don't want anymore. I DEFINITELY would love more artists at this point! I only intend to cut things off at 24 artists, which is still very far off. Also, I'm still looking for input from people who think they'd like to buy this once we finish (as well as what you guys feel is a fair price). Remember, these won't be available ANYWHERE except in the portfolio, so I promise it will be worth your money.
Before I do this, though, there are a few things I need to know:
1. How many of you would be interested in purchasing such a portfolio?
2. How much would you be willing to pay?
3. How many of you are interested in being an artist in the lineup?
4. If you're an artist who's interested, what sort of method of profit splitting would you consider fair?
Please spread the word! If you're an artist I've noted and you want to participate, also, please help me out by letting your fans know about this to get a feel of how many of them would buy. Also, because I don't have as big a fan base as some of you, your help in gaining interest would be awesome. And if you have any thoughts and input on how I should do this, please, leave me a comment. This is a brainchild I've been letting sit dormant in my head for too long and I want to see it become real.
Thanks, guys!
